Cleaning up before his big exam

Chakra Cleanse

Odin found himself at the top of a very large tree at the end of his last running spree.  He turned around and saw that the academy was miles away from his current location.  He needed to get back and apply for the genin exam so he can proceed with his ninja life.  He channeled chakra into his feet and bristly walked down the large tree.  He thought of what the exam was like in his head, spawning crazy scenarios the kind you see in a wacky Japanese anime.  His silly thoughts distracted him and when he got to the bottom of the tree, he didn't notice a huge deep puddle of a mixture between mud and leaves was covering the surroundings in front of him. 
He jumps off the tree, just to make a brown, thick splash.  The mud splattered on himself, ricocheted off, hitting the tree and finally back-lashing off the tree into his face. 
"What a disaster my dumb ass just made!" He cursed himself, examining the mud bomb he created.  He shook himself off, but to his despair, it splashed on the only clean part of his lower half, matching the top half in the process. 
(Dumb, dumb, dumb) his thoughts echoed.
(There's got to be something I can do!)
He rummaged through his satchel,  it too was covered in a thick coating of mud.  He sighed with disgust at himself, hoping he didn't ruin the contents of what he had stored inside.  He wouldn't be able to forgive himself if he had to re-write all the jutsus he promised to learn yet again.  It took him several long hours to even find suitable ones for him to learn at his rank. 

I let out a breath of relief when he pulled out a clean stack of scrap paper.  He leaned against the tree, not caring about what else he can do to himself since he was camouflaged in his surroundings.  After a few minutes, like he prepared for this moment, he pulls out a piece of scrap called 'Chakra Cleanse',  He laughed at the foresight. 

After a brief study of the jutsu, he was more than ready to give it a try. 
First, he jumped out of the mud massacre, walking until the area was clear of all crud. 
Next, he did the tiger hand seal.
Finally, he channeled his chakra around his body, concentrating on pushing it outward.  (This is key)
He closed his eyes, this seemed to always help during his first time.
He felt his chakra swirl around him, propelling outward.  He open his eyes when he felt this and to his surprise, he saw a slight glow swirling around him.  He was sure this was right.  He focused his mind, letting go of the tiger seal. 
Almost immediately, the dirt that covered him magnetized to the glowing chakra around him, expelling it from his exsistance.  Odin jumped in surprise at this immediate result. 
(So simple to execute) he thought to himself in amazement.  He was cleaner than when he started his day; All the dirt, sweat and grease on his person was expelled. 

Odin sighed with joy.  He was ready to move on.  He looked up to the sky, seeing the rising sun.  Unfortunately for him, as he daydreamed of his future, he would step in another mud puddle. 
His voice was hurt in the distance, cursing and shouting profanity to the sky. 

He would repeat the chakra cleanse process over and over again due to his airhead behavior this long morning.  He would master the tiger seal before the morning was over.
