oro walked up to the gates and looked around. he didnt know if he should wait or just walk in. so to make sure he didnt look weird. he started to walk in the city, he was sure someone would stop him. then he closed his eyes and sighed a she rubbed his neck, the long walk to get here was a pain in the ass. and he was sore. plus needed to find a bar to drink the bad taste of dirt. he though of what he should do here. maybe look for some fun looking ladies.

It was an early morning for Damon. Upon waking up from the tree he had spent the night in, he had headed towards the training grounds in order to work up an appetite. He was not much of a breakfast kind of person, but knew the benefits of maintaining a well balanced diet, so he often forced himself to grow hungry through physical exertion in order to benefit himself. As he was tired, he did not necessarily feel as though he would be able to channel his chakra, as that took concentration, so he instead decided on some basic taijutsu in order to shock himself into total consciousness. Damon charged towards a poor, defenseless tree with his leg extended much like dynamic entry. However, upon kicking the tree, he just pushed himself backwards, forcing himself to land on his feet. The boy would then launch another high kick, this time lifting his left leg in the air before only performing a mild leap off of the ground like the Karate Kid and extending his right leg out in a high kick. Upon landing, the tired boy stumbled a bit before regaining his balance. He shook his head a bit in order to futilely attempt to shake the weariness out of him before resuming. Launching another high kick, Damon decided to push himself, this time launching a low kick as well. He felt as though his body was becoming stronger and faster simply from this action, so he continued to repeat the process, that is, until he felt his stomach growl. Damon stopped himself after launching yet another low kick and held his stomach, leaning his arm against the tree and resting his head on his arm. He wiped some sweat off of his brow before pushing himself off of the tree as he turned to exit. Placing his hands on the back of his head in order to regain his breath, the now hungry boy continued to a restaurant that he knew of towards the front gates of the city.

Now feeling awake, Damon would be on his way back from the training grounds in pursuit of somewhere to eat when he would notice a boy that looked lost and a bit out of place at the front of the village, as if he did not know his way around. He reminded the genin of himself when he had first visited Hoshigakure what seemed like so long ago, when he had been with a traveling merchant. For some odd reason, literally nobody else in the City Blessed by the Stars had thought to check the gates for any intruders and/or visitors. Thus, it was up to the genin, Damon the unaware Uchiha to be the one to greet the newcomer. He had seemed to walk into the City itself, as it was pretty open minded and accepting, as could be seen by various travelers and visitors. Tourists. He had once been one himself but now he viewed Hoshi as his home, despite what had happened. He then began to approach the stranger and would wave to him, assuming that the other boy noticed him. Damon would puff his chest out a bit in order to give him a larger presence, one that could be associated with a true shinobi. “Do you need help, sir?” He retained his politeness in order to give off the aura of friendliness typically associated with the city. However, he still took into account the sword strapped to the newcomer’s back. He would have to watch out for that.

orokana looked at the boy as he spoke. he didnt notice the kid. oro hold his gaze of no emotion and of uncaring. this was his normal face due to how he acts. oro spoke in his normal monotone voice. "ah yes i was just looking around. im new here and was wondering if there is a system to coming in and out of the village or not, dont want to make any bad first impressions." he nodded and smiled awkwardly. more so due to the fact his smiles more so looked fake then anything else. he rubbed the back of his head. the kid was a bit taller then oro. he was happy he left his leaf headband in a ditch. things might have gone weird if he didnt. though he noticed the kid was making himself look more, confident. with his chest out. meaning either he is very confident in his day to day life, or he isnt very confident when talking to new people. but he is trying. he liked the tone he gave though, polite and happy. and he noticed the kids grey eyes. interesting. he never seen someone with grey eyes. he would look around the place noting people and the different things. would this kid know of a bar? he hoped so. but he would ask all those spice of life questions later. the kid had a light sweat which meant he was training. and that meant he was a ninja. though him coming up to him meant he was also a ninja. how strong he was he couldnt tell. he didnt even get a chakra signature from him. though now he was closer he could feel it a bit. oro could put him in a gen and walk away if need be. now he had an escape plan.

the boy would notice nothing of value other then the sword and some books in his bag and pockets. his long hair would move with the little wind there as the boy could see oros deep emerald green eyes. and he might notice the small marking on his left neck. kinda like a skin tag or a small mole.

See, now the thing is, Damon was just a genin. So he was not totally sure about the proceeds of coming into the village, and instead decided that he would take it upon himself to watch out for the boy until he had an opportunity to flag a higher ranked shinobi. “We tend to be pretty relaxed here.” Damon glanced around the village, notably the tree lined walkways with a view of the palace in the background. “Hoshigakure seems to be known for its hospitality, you know.” He then realized that he had let some casual speech slip in towards the end of his sentence but decided against covering it up. After all, this kid was pretty plain and maybe he would open up after some friendly conversation. He turned back to the green eyed boy, “I was just heading to grab some breakfast. Care to accompany me? I can be your official tour guide.” Damon would wait for the boy’s response as he caught his breath and crossed his arms to avoid putting his hands in his pockets, which can be seen as very unprofessional.

oro sighed as he thought. "yeah sure i guess" he nodded slightly and looked around. this place was known for the hospitality and are lax. this doesnt really seem like the place that would be very relaxed and shit. he would wait for the kid to start walking. as oro placed his hand on the back of his neck. he looked around more. he wasnt sure what to do. his act natural wasnt very natural. and this kid seem to think he is safe from anything. which is true, he wasnt going to try anything on the kid unless he asked for a spar or something.

The boy’s rather indifferent answer to his gesture took Damon aback a bit; however, he did not allow it to manifest in his physical gestures. Damon would run forward a bit, waiting for Oro to catch up to him. Taking advantage of having put some unspecified distance between them, he then flooded chakra to his eyes, which was something that he had not quite mastered, but had begun to pick up the feeling of its activation. His grey eyes had turned to a shade of crimson as he activated his first tomoe sharingan. He recalled being able to use his eyes to see a chakra signature from Hikari during their night out and about, and wondered if this same principle would apply to others. Due to his chakra vision, Damon was able to pick up on the strong chakra that the leaf shinobi was emitting. The Uchiha then lost his focus and his eyes deactivated, turning back to their original shade of grey. Wow. He stood there and waited for Oro to catch up to him. He seems to be stronger than I thought.

After some time, the two would eventually arrive at the restaurant/bar, like a Japanese themed Chili’s. A waitress would escort them to a table within a few meters of where the bar was located and hand them their menus before departing. Picking his up and beginning to skim the contents, Damon lowered it from his face and addressed his breakfast and/or lunch guest. Brunch, I guess. “So, I never caught your name by the way. I’m Damon.” The Hoshigakure shinobi would extend his right arm in order to shake hands.

Don’t leave him hanging.

oro would follow slowly after him. he wasnt looking at the kid as he used his eyes on him. thankfully he was looking around the place. the building styles where nothing like the leaf. and it felt colder. it was interesting. he would follow the kid to the place he picked for food. the place looked like a normal bbq place. and sat across the kid at the table. placing his sword on the seat next to him and stretching as he took off his coat. he would have a boring light brown shirt under the coat. "im orokana, nice to meet you damon." he said as he took his hand and shook it. he then would order some sake and looked at the kid. "do you drink?" he made a drinking gesture when he asked and smiled. if he did he would have a drinking pal for now. if he didnt he would be a lonely drinking as normal. he didnt see the issue with drinking but some people he knew from the leaf did. it was probably the taste they didnt like. "im not much of a drinker but i drink a lot when i do." he chuckled.

Learning that the boy’s name was Orokana would be the first step to the beginning of what was hopefully a mutually beneficial relationship between the two. After all, Damon was a pretty weak genin as far as shinobi rankings were, who was in desperate need of training, if only he could be more active. Damon’s eyes darted to the sword, which was large enough for it to require its own chair. Hopefully Oro was not one of those weird people who treated their possessions as if they were their own children. He nearly missed the follow up question, which he hesitated to answer. “I have not as of yet.” His mind wandered to the thought of his father’s death and all that that entailed. “Although I would be willing to pick it up.” The waitress was still standing there, waiting for his order. Damon looked in her direction to address her as he smiled and stated, “I’ll have what he’s having… As well as a burger.” Because why not. Burgers were delicious. The waitress would then walk away, after checking whether or not Oro would order any food. She would then write down his order if he requested, or just walk away in order to bring them their sake. Damon had never had any alcohol before, but he was open to new things.
