Romeo, Romeo, Where art thou Romeo?
Sun Aug 27, 2017 11:43 am
In a quick haste, Kira had left the festivities of the party and made it quickly to the small apartment she was staying in during her stay in Hoshigakure. She knew time was a valuable resource right now, so she gathered the few things that she had and quickly changed into some more comfortable pieces of clothing. She threw on some black leggings and a black sports bra, causing her stomach to be exposed. over it, a fitting black cloak to hide her body underneath it. With all her equipment attached, The Uzumaki stormed out the door and made her way to the gates.
She stopped momentarily before heading out, reaching out to Sal once more. Sal, You okay!? Please tell me you’re okay… I am coming, alright!? I’ll be there as fast as I can!” With that said, The girl sprinted off into the forest.

He would stick around at the party for a few minutes before he decided to leave as well. Curious to what was going on with Kira. She was one of the Suna ninja that was forced to be here, so he was really concerned. As he walked out the area of the party, he didn't know where to start looking. So he tried sensing for her, which shouldn't be hard unless she was suppressing her chakra. Then suddenly, he felt her signature going towards the direction of the village gates. Kyson would begin sprinting hoping he could meet her there.
But it would be his best bet to try and reach there first. So he would body flick towards the gates so he could be there first. If she was intending to go towards the gates like he predicted, then hopefully she'd stop once he saw him. "Leaving so soon? Not even saying goodbye first?" Kyson would say to Kira. Since this was technically the first time they spoke since they officially was allowed entry in the village. Wondering what she was doing and her reason for leaving. From having a worried look to changing her attire. It definitely looked like she was prepared getting into some type of altercation. Maybe a mission from Maku, the boy had no idea.

The moment Saya exited the celebration’s perimeters she took a small pause and took the sides to tie up. Once she was satisfied that her legs had free range Saya made a quick note of where Kira was before booking it to her apartment. She burst in and quickly pulled off her dress. Whether it was due to her laziness or feeling more comfortable with it under a formal outfit, Saya was glad that she had decided to wear her black ninja pants.
Knowing that time was of the essence Saya grabbed her meager belongings (her weapon pouches and a medi-kit), threw on her usual top and arm warmers, and ran out of the building after slipping on her ninja sandals. By the time she made it to the gates Saya spotted the man that Reizo had been talking to at the party. He had been seated at the head table, where important people were placed. Idly, she wondered if the Sakana or Max had managed to tell him or maybe it was something else that called “Kyton” to the gates.
The two seemed to know each other as evident of the last sentence she had just heard. Saya stepped forward towards Kira, eyeing the gentleman with curiosity before making her intentions clear. ”I’m coming with you, Lady Kira.”

As Kira had sent the telepathic message, and prepared to make her way out, she was caught off guard by a familiar voice who approached her from behind. She really shouldn’t let herself be caught off guard in a foreign place, but with everything going on so fast, she had a lot of other important things on her mind.
The Uzumaki nodded in disagreement, changing which foot she put most of her weight on in impatience. “Konoha is falling. There’s no time for pleasantries.” She replied, as the statement brought back bad memories from their own home. “I’ll be back as soon as I get Salzem.” Kira was a little disappointed in herself. She had always promised herself that she wouldn’t ever let her emotions rule her, but right now she did. She loved Sal, and losing him… losing him wasn’t an option. Especially since the two both didn’t know that the red haired beauty currently held their children.
Another seemed to approach out of nowhere. It was another familiar face, this one a Kumo ninja. Kira opened her mouth to object, but she knew she could use the back up if things went out of hand. “This may be a dangerous mission… Please know that.” The heterochromatic eyed girl warned. If Saya still wanted too, then Kira wouldn’t object any further. She gave a look towards Ky once more, as of waiting for a stamp of approval to let them go. One way or another, she was leaving, but getting the Hozuki’s blessing made that task a lot easier.

After he stopped the young girl and spoke. He wasn't really expecting that answer to come out of her mouth. Lost of words for a split second, though he had a bit of mix feelings about what was going on. But nonetheless, Salzem was a good friend of his as well. But Kyson still had much to do for Kumo because of his position, he had the most responsibilities out of all the Suna ninja. The boy would let out a big sigh. Walking towards Kira, but then he heard another person approach the gates. Looking back for a split second to see who it was, it was a little girl who was a Kumo ninja. Has she always known this girl? Kyson said to himself. It seemed she was going along too. An actual Kumo ninja willing to help a village that despised her. Kyson had nothing but respect for her. But hopefully the two don't have any problems.
But if she was with Kira then she should be safe for the most part. As Kyson walked up to Kira and looking her dead in her eyes. With a straight and serious look on his face. Walking up to about 2 feet in front of her. He grabbed her left hand fast and quick and paused for a split second. While never letting his eye off her. He would put a mark seal on her left palm and began walking back in the village. Both hands in his pocket and walking away. Once he reached about 3 meters away from the two with his back still turned.
With his hands still in his pockets. He would make the ram hand seal with his left hand. Still not tuning around to look back towards the two. But before he would bodyflick back into the village. He'd say, "Just get back here safely..." Then pausing for a second. Back still turned, he would turn his head so one eye could see the two. ".. That's an order." He said with a smirk on his face as he disappeared immediately after he finished his statement.

Saya cocked her head to side. Confusion highlighting her eyes. Was Kira actually telling her the obvious? Konoha, a village that she (again) didn’t care for, was being laid under siege. She wasn’t sure by who perpetrator was, and frankly the little girl was more than scared to find out. If it was within her power to do so, she would keep it firmly under wraps lest she turned tailed and became a coward. Just knowing that she would be heading into a potential war zone terrified her. It was complete bonkers to even follow the Suna woman to Konoha.
The facts were right in the forefront of her mind, constantly reminding her and asking her why she was even doing this. Yes, Kira stood up for her. Yes, Kira was nice and quite possibly someone she looked up to in the meager hours that she’d known her. But… If she was from Suna then that meant Kira Uzumaki belonged to them. As much as Saya was daft in all things social, she wasn’t blind to how a ninja might feel after having lost (failed) their village. The petite girl could only imagine how Kira felt, and now it was happening again to her village’s ally.
A frown almost tainted her lips, but Saya firmly pushed them together to form a thin line instead. Konoha shouldn’t be her concern anymore. The thought of it - Suna belonging to Kumo - thrummed and echoed more in her mind. Senshi’s speech reverberated betwixt her ears. Her sorrow and pain are your sorrow and pain. Her pleasure and happiness are yours. It started. Your are entrusted with her defenses, entrusted to protect her and the many people that call her home. The words flowed effortlessly, almost bolstering against the Saya’s doubts and insecurities.
Do not ever dream of failing her, because she is one of the most precious things in our lives for she protects each and everyone of us.
And that was it. That was all it took for Saya to cement her decision in following Kira to Konoha. She might be of Sunagakure, but Kumogakure was her guardian now. Though Kira and Kyson and the rest of Suna loathed it, they were now citizens of the Village Hidden in the Clouds. As her sensei had stated just moments before, Saya would protect them. That included Kira and those she deemed important in her life.
”I’m aware,” was her only answer.
Their time was running short and Kira’s superior seemed to have sensed it, creating a heated staring contest between the two. Was there something going on between them? But as fast as he had strode up to her he stepped back and began to walk away. An odd man. Saya’s expression scrunched up and something curled up in her chest at his cool department.
Positive that they would immediately leave, Saya nodded to the older woman to lead the way. ”Lady Kira.”

Kira stood still, letting the time pass between them as Kyson seemed to be considering some options. She took the silence as a good thing as he wasn’t flat out denying her personal mission. The boy quickly came up to her before grabbing her bare wrist. His eyes were locked on hers, the two staring each other down. The girl was not stupid. As a fuuinjutsu specialist, she knew exactly what he was doing but she let it happen anyways. At the end of the day, it was for her own safety… and in case she didn’t make it back. Hopefully, it wouldn’t come to that.
Before Kyson could completely let go, Kira grabbed his wrist with her other hand. Her face was stern, but she wanted him to hold on for just a second. If the boy would comply, The Uzumaki would form four hand seals, before placing her index finger on the back of the boy’s right ear. A small black circle would form there the size of a birthmark. The girl would place one behind her own ear before she’d speak to the boy telepathically.. ‘So we can keep in touch.’ she’d say to him.
The boy furthered the distance between them instantly after, as he gave his last order to her before leaving the scene. Kira would simply give the boy a quick nod, a wry smile creeping up on her face. The heterochromatic eyed girl would then face the young’un, approaching her as she formed the hand seals and placed another telepathy seal behind her ear. “In case we get split up, this will allow us to keep in touch.” She’d say, linking her own seal to Saya’s.
Just as the two were about to head off, Kira could hear’s Sal’s voice coming in once more. He started with her name before he took her on a trip through memory lane. On how she had unintentionally saved the boy from Konoha’s prison. How she had asked him to stay with her in Suna. About the day he told her he loved her… Tears began to form in her eyes. She tried to hold them back, but the streamed down her face, hitting the soft dirt underneath their feet.
She covered her mouth, trying to keep in the sobs that were trying to force their way out. Her body was turned away from Saya as the red head tried to hide the apparent emotional weakness that she was going through. It took a few moments for it to subside, but the Uzumaki finally regained control of her emotions, and wiped away the remaining tears. “Let’s go.” She’d say to the young Kumo ninja, before forming a single hand seal and performing the body flicker technique into the forest. She knew nothing she could say could change the boy’s mine. He was as thick as a brick wall. She could only hope that the boy could live.
Sal you idiot. If you die, I promise I will bring you back alive just to kill you again…
Sal would feel the solemn in her voice, but also feel that she knew he had to go through with this. At this point, Kira could only hope that she could make it there in time… or at least, make it close enough to get him out if there was no hope for Konoha.
