A Japanese Girls Worst Nightmare
Mon Sep 25, 2017 10:26 pm
Fear...that was all Hana knew as she sprinted through the darkened woods situated on the border that Haven Country shared with Forest Country, trying to flee from the horror that had descended on she and her band only minutes prior. The day had started out like any other, with Hana and the group she ran with trying to make some easy money by robbing some of the many merchant caravans of Haven Country. Both she and her cohorts knew that said caravans were easy pickings, if only because most of the fools who lived within this country refused to hire any of those accursed shinobi from the capital. And thankfully they were also not important enough to the royals in the capital or any of the noble lords to spare any of their knights on, meaning that more often than not the only protection the caravans were afforded were the services of some young men from remote towns. Young men with grand dreams of being the knight that saves the princess by slaying the fire-breathing dragon...but in reality were barely able to swing the swords they had been given without injuring themselves.
Their little band had actually been having a pretty good day, having come across two fairly well off caravans that were only protected by a couple of greener than grass ‘mercenaries’, who had all but shit their small-clothes upon catching sight of their twelve-strong group. One of the young men had refused to surrender a pretty pendant that hung from his neck, something about it being a gift from his mother...so she simply gutted the fool and took it from his rapidly cooling corpse. This act had of course made the merchants a lot more open to their demands, knowing that if push came to shove the group of thugs would be more than happy to slaughter the lot of them and take what they wanted from their corpses. Once the band of merchants had been relieved of their valuables their group simply slaughtered them anyway, not because of the joy that they took in ruthlessly slaughtering the unarmed merchants, but because they understood that in their line of ‘work’ leaving witnesses was not a very smart practice.
The next caravan they encountered was a little more boring than the first, mainly due to the fact that it was smaller and none of them tried to put up any sort of fight, but it still ended up almost doubling their take for the day. But this was the point where things started to go downhill fast, after she and the others had finished looting the corpses and caravans for any jewels or trinkets that the merchants may have hidden, they began their trek back to their camp on the border that Haven shared with Earth. On the way two of the groups whelps got into a fight over some little trinket they got from the first caravan, nothing too uncommon in their group, at least that was the case until one of the whelps whipped out his knife and shoved it into the others throat. Now, they may have only been a group of bandits, but there was one rule that all of them had agreed to follow, no killing other members. Fighting between members was fine, in fact it was encouraged since it served to show the arrogant whelps that they weren't anywhere near as tough as they thought they were, but killing was a no no. Once that sort of thing started happening then the group would just descend into anarchy, killing each other until only one was left alive...and that was the best case scenario.
They had to show the whelps what they did to those who broke their one rule, to stop them from getting any funny ideas, so in order to set an example to the others they broke his arms and legs, and left him to be eaten by the animals of the forest. This meant that the whelp would be left in agonising pain until animals arrived to start eating him, and even then there was no guarantee that the animal would kill him before they started eating, as with broken arms and legs he was in no position to try and fight them off. But that was not what happened, when they were only a hundred or so meters from the bastard that they had left crippled a blood-curdling scream ripped through the forest, causing the birds that were roosting in trees above them to fly away in fright. Hana and some of the guys laughed when they heard this, thinking that maybe a bear or some wolves had been attracted by the pained yells of the newly crippled young man, but in the end that assumption could not have been more wrong. Had they known of the horror that the man's pain filled yells and screams would attract they would have simply killed him and been on their way, but in the end they couldn't have known.
The first sign that something was wrong was picked up by one of the whelps surprisingly, when he noted that the area they were in was unnaturally silent for a forest, there were no birds singing, no animals scurrying in the undergrowth...just silence. Then it happened, before any of them knew what had happened someone...no, something, descended upon their group, killing the whelp who had spoken and one of their more experienced warriors in one fell swoop. Whatever it was...It had dropped seemingly out of the sky right on top of the whelp that had pointed out the unnatural silence, grabbed him by the head and harshly jerked it to the right, the tell-tale crunch of bones following shortly after. Before anyone could react the creature had seemingly vanished, only to reappear a split second later before the giant of a man that stood near the front of the group...with his right hand inside the man's abdomen. What sealed the deal for Hana though was when he ripped his hand out of the man's gut...with the man's intestines still in hand. As soon as Hana saw the creature do this she had turned tail and ran, hoping beyond hope that her former ‘comrades’ lived long enough for her to escape without the creature catching up too her.
This hope was short lived though, as she only managed to make it around thirty meters before the screams behind her had completely died out, something that only made her run faster. But unfortunately for Hana, she did not run fast enough, as only a few seconds later she felt a sudden searing pain emanating from her legs, or more specifically from her knees. She only had a split second to register this pain before she hit the ground, and to her horror, found herself being pulled back towards the direction that she had been fleeing. She began to frantically scream for help whilst clawing at the ground, trying and failing to stop herself from being reeled in like a fish on a hook. Her fingers carved shallow trenches in the ground as she desperately tried to claw her way to freedom, all the while she ignored the burning pain emanating from said fingers due to her nails being torn and ripped from the bed in her desperation. By the time that she was completely reeled in Hana went completely rigid in terror, she didn't even need to look back in order to know that the creature was behind her. She knew that whatever it was...it wasn't human. She had seen the creatures eyes when it disembowelled Hector, that mountain of a man earlier and she knew...there was no way that this creature was human...those eyes were unnatural...and the sheer amount of glee and blood-lust that she had seen within them as it tore poor Hector’s guts out.
No...this creature was no human, it was a monster-nay, a demon in human skin...that was the only explanation.
“Please scream...it only makes it sweeter” she would hear from behind her, right as the demon descended upon her
And scream she did.

Sorethin would be moving through the forest at a steady pace, slowly moving toward the borders of Haven. The sun would be high in the sky as he moved through the forest, the two bodies of the Crimson haired boy and the blonde haired teenager who gave him his Water and Fire hearts respectively, hanging by his threads. He moved through the forest with them easily, the black tendrils that made up the nonvital organs of his body being able to lift and move oh so easily. The sun filtered through the trees of the forest, causing small streams of light to scatter about the area as he moved. An eerie beating filling the trek as the heart he was currently assimilating into his being was slowly beating faster and faster. The lightning energy coursing through it slowly being made a part of his chakra system. His power was increasing, he could feel it with every step. Yes, by the time he was able to reach Hoshigakure no Sato he would have finally finished integrating the slowly reviving organ into his being. As he moved throughout the dense forest that made up the namesake of the country he was currently reaching the edge of. He would hear a small commotion up ahead. Tilting his head to the side for a moment, straight, snow coloured hair falling to the side in curiosity as he did so, he would listen. It sounded oddly like arguing, as if a group up ahead had a disagreement. Shrugging lightly, he’d take to the nearby trees, the high, thick branches easily supporting his weight as well as the weight of his..baggage. He’d begin to silently move through the trees, closer to fighting to see one man stab another in the throat with a knife. What followed afterwards could only be comical to Sorethin’s eyes as a pregnant pause, followed by the senior members of the group moving to breaking the arms and legs of the man who killed another of their brood and leaving him to die. Sorethin would smirk at the display, it was a good lesson. You did not kill those you worked with, without risk.
He’d begin turning follow the group, seeing if they decided to enact anymore brutality on one another, and to see if they had anything he could use of course, before something caught his eye. When the initial group got a distance away a man would step out of the shadows near the screaming and soon the be dead bandit. The man had long gray hair, and a scarred and stitched body the likes of which Sorethin himself had never seen, his one skin still being smooth and relatively unscarred. The man stood at about 5’9 and carried himself as if he were a predator during the hunt. The piercing yellow eyes of Sorethin would peer curiously at the man as black tendrils, similar to Sorethin’s own would slither out of the man’s body, moving toward the man before ripping him apart limb from limb in a bloody mess. The man’s final screams could be heard for miles he was certain. Further down the forest he would hear the laughter and guffaws of the bandit group as the heard the final screams of their own man. He’d shake his head with a smirk, Ah brutality at work no? At this point the snow haired man would move through the trees toward the group, wondering if the man that seemed to have similar abilities to his own intended to hunt them down.
He was met with satisfaction as the man looked toward the direction of the group and seemingly disappeared from Sorethin’s gaze he stalked toward the group with the stealth of a highly trained shinobi. The group would suddenly stop and one of the obviously ‘greener’ member of the bandit brigade would mention the quiet. How there seemed to be no sound at all coming through the forest. Of course this would change the moment Sorethin got a little closer, as the heart he was working to work into his being suddenly increased in chakra output and tempo. Of course the foolish bandits wouldn’t feel the chakra emanating from the beating heart. But they would hear the pounding of the organ as it beat a sickening sound. The prelude to the screams that were to come. Suddenly, and without warning, Sorethin would see Kenshin (Although he didn’t know his name yet) swoop in and murder the inexperienced idiot that spoke up first as well as one of the seniors. He’d grin voraciously as he watched the man tear the group apart with seeming glee. A single woman, one of the leader if Sorethin was to judge, ran off to try and escape the carnage, the monster made flesh that they had attracted. Only she didn’t get very far as the same tendrils that Sorethin had coursing through his body pierced her knees and began to slowly drag her toward monstrous being that tore them apart like warm bread. Sorethin himself would begin to slowly move toward the man as she screamed and tore into the ground with her hands, obviously trying to fight against the inevitable. Sorethin would grin as she was pulled closer before the beings voice echoed throughout the forest. “Please scream...it only makes it sweeter” he’d say before tearing her apart slowly, to savor her pain filled cries. They would only fall on deaf ears and a silent forest. The telltale beating of the heart Sorethin was working on the only thing responding to her wails.
It was at this point that Sorethin would make it to the man, the remnants of the carnage he had just been through decorating his body in crimson. One might think him a butcher, one would also be correct. Our snow haired murderer would move slowly toward the man, so as not to antagonize him, his hands out in a non threatening manner, in an almost...friendly way. “Good afternoon” He’d begin, pausing as a small pulse echoed from the heart as the chakra output it was giving off was slowly increasing. He’d had tendrils positioned just beneath the skin to defend himself against this man if the case required it. But he wasn’t a fool, he knew what he himself could do, and there was no telling what this man was capable of. Sorethin would notice the headband attached the the trench coat of the gray haired man, a star etched into the cool surface of the metal. A shinobi from the village he was trying to enter? How convenient, maybe they could barter a deal? So long as the gray haired man didn’t attack him that is. While Sorethin would have tendrils ready to strike out at the man, he’d also have some poised to pierce the hearts within his own body. Similar to a case of meta knowledge used against him in the past. Only this time it wouldn’t be meta. Should the man attack he’d pierce every single heart he had to uselessness. Making sure the man with similar abilities to his own wouldn’t be able to use them for his own means.
“I am Sorethin, I’m traveling toward the village you seem to reside in for safe haven to train in a..protected environment. You don’t seem like the type to mind the darker aspects of our life. In fact, based on what I just witnessed, you embrace it.” He would begin before moving the tendrils that had his ‘luggage’ forward. “Perhaps you might be interested in a trade then?” He’d continue with a raised eyebrow. “I’m looking for safe entry into Hoshigakure so I might train in peace and quiet. I’ll trade you these two bodies, both of which had interesting abilities in their own right. If you allow me entry so that I may do so.” He’d finish before lifting the Crimson haired corpse a bit higher “This one seemed to have a unique chain ability, not unlock our own tendrils, only vastly inferior, obviously.” He would say with a shrug. He had died after all, so it was obviously inferior to their own tendrils. He would then raise the blonde haired males corpse. “This one possessed a..unique affiliation with fire..One that seemed..unnatural.” He would finish, testing the word he used and nodding at it’s fitting description. “I sadly have nothing to seal them into but if you can get them into the village or wherever you’d like them to be then they’re yours. “He’d finish, willingly bringing them closer to the man so that he could inspect them himself if he so desired, or remove them and seal them if he approved.

Kenshin’s day had started off no different from any other, with him waking up, performing the usual morning rituals before heading off to an empty training field so that he could train till noon. But once his daily training was finished the silver haired chunin of Hoshi felt a familiar desire begin to build deep within his being...the desire to spill some blood. If there was one thing that people should know about Kenshin it is that he is not the type to reject his own darkness...no, he has long since begun embracing the darkness, and that made him a lot stronger than he would be otherwise. So the moment he felt this desire begin to build he knew what he was going to be doing today, leaving the village of Hoshigakure for yet another one of his little bandit hunting trips. He had a feeling the higher ups of the village knew about these actions, but then again why would they not know, it wasn't as if the heart thief was trying to be secretive about these actions. He always left through the main gates of the village, all the while ensuring that the guards noticed his departure so that they could mark it down in their logbooks. Nor did he clean up after himself, more often than not simply leaving the bandits to rot where they had fallen...unless of course he was running low on research materials, in which case a body or two would be missing. Thankfully if the village higher ups did know about his actions they did not disapprove of them, and once more why would they, after-all he was eliminating the bandits that plagued the residents of Haven Country without any form of payment from the village, truly a win-win situation for the village.
In the end Kenshin did what he usually did, left through the main gates of the village in full view of the gate guards, who as usual made a note of his exit in their logbooks. Once outside the gates he would stroll leisurely down the main roads, his Mind’s Eye open in order to increase the range and quality of his chakra sensory. He would of course not be relying solely on his sensory, his eyes would also be peeled for things that could denote bandit activity, such as clouds of smoke and birds circling. As he continued to talk down the road, getting further and further away from the village of Hoshigakure, he spotted a potential bandit activity, birds circling around a spot in the distance. With a sign in sight a dark grin would appear on Kenshin’s face as he sped up his pace, reaching a light run (by his standards anyway) as he made his way towards the circling birds in the distance. The scar faced young man truly did hope that the birds were circling over the corpses of some unlucky travellers that had a run in with some bandits, as that would give him a point from which he could start hunting. It didn't take him long to reach the area, and his dark grin only grew larger as he saw the relatively fresh corpses of the merchants that ran this caravan. Due to his knowledge of the human body Kenshin could tell that they had only died a couple of hours ago, meaning the bandits were probably some ways away by now...but thankfully he was able to spot yet another veritable cloud of birds circling an area some distance away.
Now aware that he was indeed following the trail of some bandits Kenshin would up his pace even further, going from what he considered a light run to an all out sprint, something that he could justify now that he knew for certain that he was following the trail left by a group of bandits. Due to the speed at which Kenshin was moving it would not take him long to reach the area the birds were circling, revealing yet another sacked caravan, and this one appeared to be quite a bit fresher than the other. Based on what he could see the people of this caravan had only been killed around an hour ago, two at the most, which in turn meant that the bandits would still be somewhere in this area. “The chase begins” Kenshin would say with an ominous chuckle, scanning the immediate area in the hopes of finding some clue that would indicate which direction they were heading. There were some relatively fresh tracks continuing down the road, but from what he could see that was a group of three or so people, no doubt scavengers here to pick the corpses and carts clean of anything the bandits may have missed. Hmm, there were some older tracks heading out into the desert...but they looked too old to be from the bandits. With a rather irritated growl Kenshin would turn to look down the road, debating on whether or not he should chase down the scavengers to see if they had seen the direction that the bandits had head in...but in the end he knew that such a thing would only be a waste of time.
Without a seconds thought Kenshin would turn right and begin a dead sprint in that direction, hoping that the bandits had indeed head in this direction or at least that he could rule out this direction before the bandits got too far away. But he had only taken a few steps in that direction when he noticed something glinting out of the corner of his left eye, he wasn't really able to see what it was but he could tell that whoever had dropped it had not been travelling on the road itself. Kenshin would quickly made his way towards the glinting object, discovering it to be some type of pendant when he got close enough to actually identify it. It was a pretty little thing, made from what looked to be silver with some decent looking engraving done, no doubt important to whoever it used to belong to, something he based off the fact that it appeared to be a custom made piece. But what stood out most to the alabaster skinned young man were the small droplets of crimson liquid that adorned the precious looking piece of jewellery, evidence that the pointed towards the original owner not parting with it willingly. The dark grin that had been splitting Kenshin’s scarred face earlier would return have returned at full force, because now he knew which direction the group of bandits was heading. With that knowledge in mind the stitched and scarred young man would change begin to sprint once more, but this time he would be hot on the heels of his prey.
It wouldn't take long for Kenshin to reach the lush forest that existed on the borders of Haven and Forest countries, and he would enter said forest without a moment's hesitation, believing his prey to be hidden somewhere within its depths. At first, he was wandering around blindly, trying to cover as large of a distance in as short of a time as possible, relying entirely on his Mind's Eye to pick up the signatures of his prey long before they came into his line of sight. But in the end it turned out that he wouldn't even need that, as his ears began to pick up a sound that was very familiar to his ears...the screams and cries of a person in agony...oh how he loved that sound. Kenshin would follow the haunting cries directly to their source only to find what he assumed to be one of the bandits, both of his arms and legs broken, and next to him lay the dead body of another bandit, this one lying in a pool of his own blood with a stab wound to the throat. With the darkest of smiles on his face Kenshin would emerge from the shadows of one of the larger trees and make his way over to the crippled bandit, who was now whimpering in fear at the demonic figure that stood over his crippled form. The silver haired teen knew that he could take his time with this one, as he could feel the slowly retreating chakra signatures of the bandits ‘comrades’ around a hundred or so meters away.
And of course he was also able to feel the relatively small chakra signature that was emanating from one of the nearby tree’s, but he wasn’t all that worried about who it belonged too. From what he could feel their reserves were not even half the size of his own, nor did this person seem to be trying particularly hard to hide their presence, if he had to guess he would say the person was curious about him, and wished to see what he could do. ‘Well...if I have an audience I may as well put on a show’ the silver eyes shinobi would think in grim amusement, all the while ignoring the feeling of the threads beneath his skin writhing in what almost seemed to be excitement of the slaughter to come. Kenshin would tilt his head to the side as he gazed down at the whimpering man, that dark and deranged smile still plastered on his pale and scarred face. With but a thought the threads that made up his body would begin to slide their way out of the many stitched cuts of his arms, emerging menacingly from the long, black sleeves of his trench coat, their sharp tips trained on the whimpering and broken bandit. The threads waved menacingly around his body, almost as if they were scanning the man's broken body for something important. After a few moments the ominous black threads went completely still, almost as if they had been frozen in the very air around the still whimpering bandits crippled body...but in the end the stillness of the threads was broken with but a thought from Kenshin
The threads would attack quickly and without mercy, tearing through the flesh and bone of the bandits limbs, before pulling with their full force in different directions. This of course made his victim scream out in pure agony, the scream only growing louder and louder as the threads pulled harder and harder. The scream reached its crescendo as the bandits body gave out, the threads tearing each of his limbs from his body in unison, causing his now limbless man to hit the ground with a wet splat. The now limbless bandit would give a strangled gasp as his torso convulsed a few times, before he went completely still, all the while Kenshin stood over the man and watched the light fade from his eyes, the dark and deranged grin on his face never once faltering. With the death of his plaything Kenshin would turn his head in the direction that he could feel the other bandits chakra signature. The silver eyed Chunin would gaze in their direction for a split second before taking off in a full sprint, heading straight towards the group of unsuspecting bandits. Once he had gotten within twenty meters of the group of bandits Kenshin would come to a complete stop, his form completely hidden to the bandits by the densely forested area that they found themselves in. Now, at this point, Kenshin would utilise Surface Walking to scale one of the tree’s closest to him, and once he ascended it he would begin to make his way closer to the group of bandits.
He was completely silent as he made his way through the canopy towards his prey, his feet hitting the wood beneath him without making a sound, his weight distributed perfectly along the branches he was walking on so as to avoid rustling them. It wouldn’t take Kenshin long to reach his prey, the entire group standing beneath him, completely oblivious to the two predators that were stalking them from the tree’s above. The forest itself was completely silent, save the sound of an unnaturally loud heartbeat, something that Kenshin definitely took note of, as the sound was coming from the same tree as the other chakra signature. But right now he was more focussed on his prey than he was one what was causing the sound, he was in position to strike, but now he was waiting for the right moment...and that moment came when one of the greener looking bandits spoke. As soon as the rather young looking man noted the silence of the area Kenshin struck, leaping from his position in the tree’s and landing right on top of the young man. The stitched and scarred experiment would grab hold of the man's head and jerk it harshly to the right, the crunch of bones being broken filling the air as the bandit he landed atop gave a couple of post death twitches. Kenshin would quickly scan the group, looking for a target that he could kill to demoralise the rest, and upon catching sight of the muscled giant standing near the group Kenshin knew that he had found his target.
To the bandits Kenshin would appear to disappear, but to a trained shinobi it would be relatively easy to see the pale skinned Chunin practically leap towards the man, rearing his hand back in the process and launching it forward when he got close enough. Kenshin struck with enough force to easily tear through the body, and once his hand was inside he would roughly grab hold of the man’s intestines, getting a pain filled gasp from the giant of a man. With an insane grin splitting his scarred face and pure glee in his unique red and silver eyes, Kenshin would pull his hand out of the massive bandits body...the man's intestines still held firmly within hand. This of course resulted in blood being sprayed on Kenshin, most of it splattering onto his black trench coat, but some of it did end up getting on his face, an addition that would only make him look more intimidating to the bandit group. If it was possible Kenshin’s smile became even more deranged when he took note of the blonde woman that tried to run away...he would not allow any of his prey to escape. For the next few moments time seemed to stand still, the bandits still frozen in shock at the sudden appearance of the Chunin of Hoshigakure and the death of two of their number...but that was all broken when Kenshin sprung forth, threads snaking their way out of his sleeves while he formed five hand seals, causing a blue, blade like aura to cover his hands.
The bandits didn't last very long under the relentless onslaught of attacks from Kenshin and his threads, the black tendrils piercing through flesh and bone alike, all the while Kenshin himself used his now bladed hands to sever the limbs of any bandits that got within arms reach. By the end of the quick and brutal slaughter Kenshin was covered almost completely into the blood of the bandits, in fact, his silver mane was completely soaked and almost seemed to be dyed a deep crimson (but it wasn’t of course). The blood soaked shinobi would turn to face the direction of the fleeing woman, deranged smile still fixed firmly on his bloodied face. In next to no time Kenshin would reduce the distance between himself and the fleeing woman to only ten meters, before once more sending forth the black threads that made up his body. The black tendrils would close the distance between himself and the woman in the blink of an eye, piercing through her kneecaps before wrapping themselves around her legs. The sudden pain would result in the woman falling forward...and at that point Kenshin would use her threads to reel his catch in. The sheer sadistic glee that Kenshin felt upon listening to the screams and cries of the bandit woman was astounding...how he had lived without this sound for so long he would never know. Once the woman was completely reeled in she would freeze completely, obviously aware of what was standing almost directly behind her.
“Please scream...it makes it sweeter” Kenshin would say in a cold and smooth tone, the barest hints of bloodlust leaking through. This was not the sort of thing he would usually say...but the real question was whether or not he had said it because of the show he was putting on for the watcher. With that said Kenshin would descend upon the woman, savouring the screams of pain she gave as his tendrils tore her apart, but all good things had to come to an end, and so too did this as the light faded from the now broken body of the relatively young looking blonde. As he basked in the chaos he had just unleashed upon those witless fools Kenshin would take note of the chakra signature he felt earlier...because it was now approaching him. With narrowed eyes Kenshin would look in the direction he could feel the signature coming from, the unnaturally loud and rapid heartbeat also approaching, confirming his belief that the sound was indeed coming from the watcher. When his eyes met the approaching figure Kenshin would have to focus to stop his eyes from widening in shock...after-all, it was not every day that you see a white haired man, who stood at 6’2, walking towards you...with extremely familiar black tendrils carrying two bodies behind him. The silver haired heart thief had never actually come across another carrier of the black threads, and yet now here one was, approaching him with two bodies in tow, as he stood over the freshly mangled corpse of a bandit.
Kenshin took note of how his fellow Earth Grudge Fear wielder held his hands out in a non threatening way, no doubt trying to assure the obviously younger teen that he meant no harm. “Good afternoon” the unnamed man would in a smooth voice, just a little deeper than Kenshin’s own due to the age difference, but that would no doubt change in time
“I am Sorethin, I'm travelling toward the village you seem to reside in for safe haven to train in a...protected environment. You don’t seem like the type to mind the darker aspects of our life. In fact, based on that I just witnessed, you embrace it.” he would say as the tendrils holding the bodies behind him came forward, holding them out for Kenshin to inspect.
“Perhaps you might be interested in a trade then?” he would then say as he raised a white brow, an act that was mirrored by Kenshin, who still had yet to say a word.
“I’m looking for safe entry into Hoshigakure so I might train in peace and quiet. I’ll trade you these two bodies, both of which had interesting abilities in their own right. If you allow me entry so that I may do so” he would say as he used his threads to lift the corpse of the redhead a little higher.
“This one seemed to have a unique chain ability, not unlike our own tendrils, only vastly inferior, obviously” he would say with a shrug, obviously pointing to the fact that he was alive while the boy was dead. Either way Kenshin had to contain his excitement, because he had a very good idea of what clan this boy belonged to...the Uzumaki clan, the red hair and chains being all the proof he needed to come to that conclusion.
Next Sorethin would use his threads to raise the corpse of the blonde “This one possessed a...unique affiliation with fire...one that seemed...unnatural” he would then say before giving a nod, seemingly pleased with the way he had chosen to describe the blonde.
“I sadly have nothing to seal them into, but if you can get them into the village or wherever you’d like them to be then they’re yours” he would then say as he moved both of the bodies closer to Kenshin.
Now...what this Sorethin obviously did not know about Hoshigakure was that the village was actually very accepting of Missing Nin, more than willing to allow them within their walls so long as they followed the laws of the village during their stay. Essentially he was offering Kenshin these two bodies to get into the village...when there was nothing stopping him from entering in the first place...but the scar faced Chunin was not about to point that out to him...these two bodies would be very useful for his future experiments after-all
“I accept your offer” Kenshin would say simply, a small smirk plastered on his face
With that Kenshin would reach into one of the weapon pouches that he kept clipped to his belt and withdraw a certain scroll, which he would proceed to unroll beneath the corpse of the Uzumaki.
“Please lower the body onto the scroll” Kenshin would say, waiting for Sorethin to do so
Once this was done Kenshin would channel some chakra through the body and into the scroll beneath, causing the body to disappear with a small puff of smoke, sealed away into the scroll. With that done Kenshin would roll the scroll up once more and place the now filled scroll back in his weapon pouch.
“Now lower the other body onto the ground” Kenshin would say, once more waiting for Sorethin to do so
Once the body was on the ground Kenshin would form the rat hand seal, followed by the dog, before placing his hand upon the body, causing it to seemingly explode into particles, signifying that it had been sealed away in the dimension created by his Storage Displacement technique.
“Now to fulfill my end of the bargain” Kenshin would say as he looked directly at Sorethin
“Are you planning to become a Shinobi of Hoshigakure, or are you going to just be staying in the village for awhile?” Kenshin would ask
No matter what Sorethin said Kenshin would give a small nod, before turning and gesturing for Sorethin to follow him. On the way back to Hoshi Kenshin would form the Tiger hand seal and use a jutsu that he had learned on one of his many bandit hunts, the chakra cleanse, to clean himself up...it simply would not have been a good idea for him to show up to the gates of Hoshi covered head to toe in blood.

“I accept your offer” The words bringing another smirk to the face of the white haired Sorethin as the silver haired teen accepted. It was good that he ran into this shinobi today. Far be it for him to assume however that his entry would have been allowed. Most villages, from his parents had told him growing up, simply didn’t operate that way. Sorethin would watch as Kenshin reached into one of the weapon pouches on his body. Now, most shinobi would go on guard when someone did such a thing in front of them. After all, he could be reaching for a weapon to kill him and take the body with. It was of course for this reason that Sorethin didn’t relax the tendrils that were internally poised to turn all of his hearts into mince meat. That was however just a precaution, he wasn’t truly worried about the boy attacking him, as if he was going to then he wouldn’t have reached into the pouch. He would’ve simply spawned the threads that made up the internals of both of them and kill him with them. Far less effort that way you see. It was for this reason that Sorethin wasn’t surprised when the teenager pulled out a scroll and opened it, setting the rolled out parchment on the ground below the Uzumaki.
“Put the corpse on the scroll.” His new silver haired companion would say. To which Sorethin would silently do as told. The bodies were Kenshin’s now after all, and he still had no way to seal them safely. At this point Kenshin would seal the body within the scroll before picking it up calmly and storing the scroll within his weapon pouch once more. “Now lower the other body onto the ground.” The silver eyed man would ask to which Sorethin would once again oblige. He would watch interested as the young man performed a couple of hand seal and touched the long cold corpse. The body would proceed to disperse into particles, seemingly into nowhere. Sorethin had never seen the technique before, but he assumed it was a storage jutsu of some kind. A useful ability to be certain. At that point Kenshin himself would stand up straight. “Now to fulfill my end of the bargain.” He’d say before asking a question to which Sorethin himself had to bite back a laugh. “Are you going to be becoming a shinobi of Hoshigakure, are you just going to be staying in the village for a while?” He would ask. Sorethin? A village shinobi? He couldn’t see that happening anytime soon unless truly drastic measures had to be taken. His eyes would widen suddenly once the young man asked the question though and he’d grunt with effort as the final heart gave off a large chakra flare before fully assimilating itself into his body. Finally, that was it. He now possessed all five of the basic elements coursing through his chakra coils. He almost had to fight the urge to smile darkly, a low chuckle escape his lips as he flexed his hands. “Five for five..” He’d say before looking back at Kenshin and giving a slight nod.
“Sorry, I finished assimilating my final one.” He would say before taking a deep breath and suppressing a shudder. “The rush, is always amazing..” He would say before calming himself down. “To answer your question, I will be simply visiting.” He would say simply. Kenshin would proceed to nod at him at this point and motion to follow him. Sorethin would do so without question. He had the oddest feeling this would be the start of a beautiful friendship. Now why did he feel like millions of girls in other universes were screaming when they realized two ‘tentacle monsters’ just met? Ah well, probably wasn’t important.
