A Homeward-Bound Orphan
Mon Dec 04, 2017 3:42 pm
It was well beyond time to head back home. Max had already taken enough time to start his return to Kumo, to much if he were being honest with himself. He was finding being honest with himself harder and harder these days. Max would make sure that he had everything before stepping through the gates of Hoshi. If questioned at the gate, he would point to his Kumo shinobi headband and give the identification card he filled out anybody that required him to do so.
"I am returning to my homeland," the boy would say if asked.
Assuming he manages to get out of the gates without any major issues, Max would turn and take one last look at this village. Max had so much hope for this trip, but there wasn't much that came of this trip to lift the boys spirits. Hopefully this melancholy would pass once he was back home in Kumo.
There was much to be done there, and Max had little time left to waste.
