Snakes under the flowers (Max) (NK)

Max watched Hato's display of her capability with medical ninjutsu. He gave his compliments, they were so nice to hear to her. Like I mentioned before, she loved receiving compliments. But it was different because of his higher position. He told her that she would be a great shinobi and a capable medical ninja. It made her happy, so she smiled. "Thanks." She kinda meant it. Sometimes she would take compliments with a grain of salt when it came from a drunken man, but he wasn't drunk and he was the greatest puppeteer.  

Then Max asked for her name. He explained that he was going to need it to follow up on her progress and training. Wow, he cares? About me? Why? She had never really had anyone really care about her. Her mother didn't, her father definitely didn't. And her brother...Well that was the only one. Look where that got him, six feet under.   Hato was almost embarrassed that she hadn't introduced herself. She normally did that right away in a conversation. "Oh oops. My name is Hato. Hato Sano." She did a little bow. A sign of respect. Hato maybe a manipulator but she still knew what respect and honor was. Plus she didn't know if he would be offended if she didn't. 


It was becoming the afternoon, and she still hadn't eaten lunch. "Well, Thank you for the lesson. I'll make sure to find out again if I need anymore training." Hato explained before using the body flicker technique to exit the training field and head somewhere for lunch and then home so she can rest off the day's hard work in the training field.

Max would take note of the name, Hato Sano. It would be a name that Max expected to hear again since she was developing at such a rapid rate. There was a great deal of potential in her, Max could see it. It would simply have to be unlocked and allowed to bloom.
 
Max would watch the lady leave while using the Body Flicker Technique. She still had a long way to go in developing her chakra control, but her grasp of the fundamentals and rate at which she picked up on the jutsus that he had taught her really did impress him. Would her medical skills grow enough to become a stronger medical shinobi than Max or Saya? Perhaps, but only time would be able to tell for sure.
 
Max would gather up his things and make his way to the village for something delicious to eat. He was really hungry for some pretzels right now. Maybe he’ll go to that stall and buy a bunch to enjoy eating.
