Shinoskay has practice against ninjutsu, taijutsu, and even had seen those skilled in weaponry fight... he himself was good at using puppetry. He was not too familiar with jutsu like that his teammate Feza used, able to send a sword to phase through walls, barriers, and objects. It was a dangerous art that if one was not prepared then it could easily kill you, one moment you are running while facing your opponent the next they are behind you and slashing you in three ways to leave you half a person... bleeding out on the ground.
The genin wanted more training against this, but he didnt know who to turn to and so he came to the administration building in the hopes of requesting training. He also had been wanting to learn how to better draw information from someone through conversation so that was another thing he was hoping to request training in. Since his kage was female, and he had been told by feza that all females enjoy compliments and flowers, he hoped the bouquet he brought with him would help encourage the kage to allow such training. On it was a card that would read 'Kage sama, you have worked long and hard for this village. You are doing a great job and are appreciated' He wasn't sure if it was good but he wrote it out himself because he was told by the florist that people saw appreciate as a great compliment and it was best to hand write these things.
The boy would arrive in the kages' secretaries office where he would keep the flowers behind the door as he made noise to show her he was there.

In lieu of Miko, there was but a lonely sign behind the desk. It stood vigilant and firm, ready to perform its duty to the last. It read as such, "Secretary is out, knock before entering."

Seeing the ever vigilante and daring sign, the boy was nervous... how could he contend with such an indomitable and unyielding force such as this, he could knock it over yet its message would remain. He could toss it out the window but in his mind he knew its words and so too would the world once committed to the open environment. He could feel a sweet drop run down his forehead at the mere sight of this sign, if he tried to intimidate it, its message would remain and yet if he tried to destroy it would it truly be gone or just that much more difficult to manage with its many divided pieces?
There, prominently, it stood upon the secretaries desk with its two perfectly balancing and firmly placed points of contact. though he could move it, it would not cease its duty from wherever or however it may end up.
Under the ever burning watch and song of the note, Shinoskay would slowly creep into the office as he made his way past the daring and declarative sign to reach the kage's door. As it commanded, unable to do any else, the boy surrendered to its will and knocked upon Risako's door.
