Bane of Hyuuga [P]

Komons words fell on the eager ears of Xyxer, curious as to how the ideology of Kumogakure had developed over the years with the duo in charge of it. He found no reason to combat the first point, as it was true that a village could not ignore its losses in favour of its wins, such a thing was the beginning of the end for anything.

Xyxer however had no idea why Komon felt the need to highlight that he wasn't giving up on them. He started to wonder if the two were starting to mix the others message up to a degree that was almost laughable, as if they were in some comedy where words had different meanings in their respective homes.

His head cocked to the side a little bit when Komon shrugged to finish his view, a quip almost instinctively rolled off the tongue of Xyxer while a smile adorned his features, "You must be well-accustomed to losses by now, at least if you settled in Kumogakure before Youka and Maku paid it a visit. How was it?" There was a friendliness about the jibe that almost made it lack the cruelty it'd otherwise have, yet alas, different cultures could prove quite the issue.

Granted that Komon still inquired about Xyxers glorious home, the village that was destined to claim the world, his curiosity would be sated, "Kirigakure is prospering in every aspect, you can't imagine the economic growth that comes from a successful campaign and the boost to morale.. to know you are finally safe, and no longer waiting to be invaded." The Mizukage went on, ignoring the minor campaigns that Kumogakure had the leisure to enjoy, "We often hold festival; they're magical there. The flames of torches lurching in the darkness of midnight. Shinobi and civilian dancing together without a care in the world. It makes every deed worth it to preserve such beautiful events." At times when he spoke, there'd seem to be a minor failure in the emotion he presented with such a word, perhaps not sounding as excited or gleeful as the sentence would indicate, yet other than that his words seemed genuine on the state of Kirigakure.

As the mizukage spoke a familiar ache would manifest near his shoulders, something that hadn't felt in quite some time. His first real taste at combat had been against the lord of rot, and the man had ensured he'd never forget it. He remembered with absolute clarity the tone of voice the tau had used, when he told him he'd executed lady jiyo because he'd been a little too loud in the library that day. He remembered the mans eyes, full of delight as he had spoken them. The man had enjoyed what he'd did to Kumogakure, he was a tyrant with no mercy.

Standing in the conquered territory of Konoha he couldn't help but feel the same of the tadashi standing before him. The man had taken what wasn't his, and it was obvious to all who entered it that Konoha's people felt the same. The man went on to brag about how his conquest had brought safety to his village, as if one required the other, and it only served to solidify what Komon had already thought of him.

"You remind me of him you know... " His voice was indifferent, neither positive nor negative, and his eyes almost blank as he said them, as if he was still thinking. "Youka Tau"

Komon had little to say in response to what Xyxer had said, perhaps he'd finally realised the gravity of this encounter he found himself in. The thoughts that lurked within Xyxer's mind were obscured from all others, and yet the ones that currently festered within his psyche could very well have an impact on the ANBU's future. He was not his Kage, yet he perhaps had a bigger say on his his life turned out than his immediate family. With a single sentence from his lips he could unleash the hounds of war on the weakened Kumogakure.. frail from numerous conquests on insignificant villages and soft with the rot that now crippled it.

The neutral voice of the man broke through the temporary silence, ushering words that caught the attention of Xyxer more than most others would. He'd compared Xyxer Tadashi.. Mizukage.. to the man that had been sent to kill him many moons ago. Youka Tau.. the wretched being composed of threads and hearts. Had the boy just slung an insult at the man infamous for killing on a whim?

His left hand reached upwards and briefly pulled on the sash of Samehada, almost as if he was alleviating some of the focused weight on his shoulder. "And why is that?" The man inquired, subduing the violent impulses that lashed within himself.

The reach for the sash did not go unnoticed, but it did go ignored. The faint hint of a smile would find itself forming on the hyuuga's face as he began to answer the mans question. "It's pretty obvious, don't you think?" He'd say as he shrugged his shoulders. "You're both Tyrants who took whats not yours" A lighthearted chuckle would follow the words.

"You're intentions may be better than his... I've yet to see" A slight pause would take place as his left hand pointed to his own byakugan. "But I've got good eyes Mizukage, And they're watching you" He dropped the lord before the word Mizukage this time intentionally. It was important to the Hyuuga that the man in front of him did not mistake Kumogakures heart for that of the like he'd seen in Hoshigakure at the kage summit.

They had a spine.

He'd stand with his arms crossed, awaiting the mans reply.
