Ryuuzaki Hayato's genin exam

The day had finally come, Ryuuzaki was due to take the genin exam, he had not felt nervous until this very morning. Ryu wanted to pass the exam first time, and start developing himself down the path of the ninja. Ryuuzaki was wearing his normal attire, his forehead called for the sign of the Kumo to be wrapped around it.

Max would open and step through the doors of the academy and make way to the podium in front of the classroom. The boy was young, no more than perhaps eleven or twelve, but he bore a Kumogakure headband around his throat like a necklace. Overall, his demeanor was calm and kind. He wore a simple blue cloak over a white shirt and some baggy pants. 

The room was a typical classroom, an area in front of the class to speak, a chalkboard behind it. The room had plenty of space in the front where the instructor stood, mostly for the purpose of demonstrations. Of course, these students weren't here for any such thing. They were here to become shinobi.
 
The boy clears his throat and begins, “Greetings. I am Maximillian Yamaguchi and I will be your proctor today. You all are candidates to be promoted to Genin rank, making you a true shinobi of Kumogakure. Should you fail, you will have to return to the academy to continue developing your abilities before attempting the test again.” Max would give a beaming smile after this, following it up with, “Not that I believe any of you will fail today.”
 
Looking over a list of names, Max picks one at random and decides that they would be the first to be tested. “Ryuuzaki Hayato, please step come forward.” Should the student be present and step forward as instructed, Max would continue.
 
“In order to receive your Kumogakure headband, you must be able to perform both the clone and transformation jutsus. This will test your ability to mold chakra and utilize it effectively. But this is not all I ask of you today.” Max would look at Ryuuzaki, and then back at the rest of the students. “Simply knowing the techniques is not enough. To be a true shinobi, one must know when and how to utilize them. I would also like you to explain to me some uses of these basic techniques. Failure to do so will be reflected in whether you pass or fail this exam.”
 
With that Max would return his gaze to Ryuuzaki, “You may proceed.”
 
OoC: Have to at least show the ability to use Clone and Transformation, plus write an 800 wc post. I see that you do have the required 40 total stats. I suggest putting a link to your stat page in your signature for easy access.

Ryuuzaki entered the academy building early in the morning, the sun making its way up into the sky. Making his way to the classroom since it was time for this group of academy students to take the genin exam everyone was in attendance. Ryuuzaki made his way to his usual seat in the front row to the right, he was slightly early. A few minutes later the classroom filled up and then the chuunin entered and headed straight to the podium at the front. Ryuuzaki listened to the instruction and then made his way up to the area at the front of the classroom. 

Ryuuzaki moved to the centre of the space and took in a deep breathe as he closed his eyes. Slowing his breathing Ryuuzaki brought his hands together to form the sign of the ram. "First I will demonstrate my ability to perform the clone jutsu," Ryu said turning his head towards the proctor. Ryuuzaki began to bring chakra from his core through his system to his hands, once the chakra was there he began to mould it picturing his image in his head. Moving on to the next hand sign Ryu allowed his fingers to slide down and interlock, clasping his hands together forming the sign of the snake. Chakra began to surge as Ryu increased the amount, wanted to create two clones instead of one if he was going to pass he was going to give it maximum effort. Ryu's forefingers extended and became parallel and his thumbs pointed upwards, but parallel, forming the final hand sign; tiger. 

Mirroring Ryu's appearance a clone appeared either side of him, their hands still in the tiger hand sign. The appearance of the clones was accurate and they moved as Ryu did, he performed a front spinning heel kick, the clones perfectly mirroring his movements and in time. Ryuuzaki allowed the jutsu to continue as he supplied chakra through his system. Turning to the proctor he began to speak. "One scenario this clone jutsu could be used in is during battle to create a diversion or confuse an enemy." Ryuuzaki continued his explanation "Usually you would use this in conjunction with a smoke bomb or maybe after you have concealed yourself to create an opening." Ryuuzaki allowed the clones to fade away as he stopped supplying chakra through his system "Another use for the clone jutsu could be to lay a false target for someone tailing you, this would have to be in a busy or urban area though, since they are incorporeal and would not leave traces in such things as forests."

"Next I would like to demonstrate the transformation jutsu." Ryu began "similarly to the clone technique you could use transformation during battle to confuse enemies, or even make them think there are extra combatants." Ryu stepped forward and brought his hands together "However I believe this technique is more useful for infiltration or espionage, allowing you to walk around and act as another person during missions where openly displaying say a village headband or your own appearance might cause trouble!" Ryuuzaki looked back towards the proctor, bringing his image into his mind's eye as he continued talking "However during stress the technique is hard to maintain, so using it in battle might not be for someone of my ability." Ryuuzaki curled his finger of his front hand and placed the rear hand on top of his other hand, keeping the fingers outstretched, forming the sign of the dog. Chakra began to swell in his core once more, Ryu's hands clenched into fists and he allows his wrists to become loose, forming the hand sign of the boar. Ryu pushed his chakra from his core and allowed it to flow through his system towards his hands. Ryuuzaki moved his hands so that one was slightly elevated above the other and extended his forefinger and index finger so they were straight up on each hand, forming the sign of the ram. The image of his chuunin proctor still fresh in his mind's eye he closed his physical eyes and moulded the chakra, his form taking on the image he had focused on, a continuing supply of chakra flowing from his core, through his system to his hands. The image was perfect and his concentration was utterly focused on keeping the jutsu going. Ryu turned to the instructor and allowed him to look over it and then turned back to the class and took a few steps around the front area of the classroom. Ryu then relaxed and allowed the technique to fade, taking a deep breathe, hoping he had done what the proctor wanted. Ryuuzaki nodded to the proctor and then returned to his seat in the front row of the class and waited for the next name to be called.

Max would watch and listen, giving a simple nod after the demonstration was completed. The boy would continue through each of the students, assessing them before giving any results. This would help prevent a student from simply copying the response of a passing student. 

Once it was all complete, he would pull a box of headbands out from under the podium, calling forth each passing student and handing them the key to their next step as a shinobi. 

"Congratulations. Make Kumo proud." He would say with a light bow to each of those that passed. It was a sign of respect, the boy grateful for their efforts in progressing for the good of Kumo as a whole.

Ryuuzaki allowed himself an excited fist pump as he was told, not only that he had passed, but all of his classmates had made it through too, he collected his headband from the front, securing it into his pack and leaving for the dojo.
