Chuta's Lessons (Solo/Training)

His uncle would be proud of him. If he was around. Sure, he was home, but constant meetings and all of the social calls that hung on his shoulders seemed to clash with Chuta's and his schedules. It was like they never hung out anymore. This was good and bad. Good because Chuta could spend most of his time on training and not have to worry so much about what his uncle thought. Bad because he loved his uncle. Spending so much time together for so long on the ship, it felt odd, like he was in uncharted territory every time he went home.
It has been a few months now. So much study and training, Chuta's body was hurting, his hands and feet sore from the day earlier. He wasn't sure if he was ready for the test. His hands still had dirt on them. Doing pushups for every failed attempt might have been a good idea at the time, if he didn't have to wake up so early the next day, that is. Wiping them on his pants he stood up, pain shot through his legs. Just hold in there Chuta… He thought to himself.
Moving to the center of the class he looked at his instructor. Chuta mustered his strength and raised his hands to his core. A few deep breaths. He took a moment to calm himself, to draw the chakra to the surface of his body, let it envelop his skin. Dog. Boar. Ram. His hands darted across his body. Practicing so much he started to lose feeling. He couldn't even feel the chakra moving. He had to trust himself. Let it become second nature. Let his body do what he taught it.
He could feel himself pulsate for a moment, like his body was an empty sheet of paper now, all he had to do was paint. Though, he felt a child trying to copy a master artist, all of his strokes too long or short, thick or wide. The pulsating left. He shook his head. Focus...
Picturing his instructor in his minds eye, Chuta focused. First, his head. Every hair floccule, every color, the curves and edges of his face. Everything was set. From there he moved down the body, shoulders, clothes, color, the symbols, the cloth and how it moves. His legs and feet. They were the toughest part. Luckily, he had time to look at them before he began the exam, not to mention every day before.
"Transformation Jutsu." He said as a large plume of smoke emerged around him. After it dissipated, he could be seen. A perfect copy of his instructor. The hair and eyes lay just right. His shoes. just how he imagined. It was the hardest part, earlier his copies were all fat and ugly, or their body looked like the person he wanted, but only if you were looking into a mirror in the cercus. At least he felt a sense of pride wash over him. His long hours of training had finally payed off. Now it was time to hear from the instructor...

Yesterday was tough. He wouldn't doubt that. His body ached so much that he could barely stand during the last test. The rest that he got last night was much needed, not to mention the two hours he took to massage his limbs. He was able to stand a little steadier this morning, walking to the lessons also helped, the increase in blood flow brought needed oxygen and took away the toxins.
On the way, he grabbed some breakfast at his favorite restaurant. A good meal before a quiz was always a good idea. Keeps the mind running at peak proficiency. Sugars and saults, all are needed for healthy brain function. Maybe I should stay away from that biology book for a day or two, soon I'll be dreaming about types of blood vessels. Chuta thought as he shoved his mouth full of eggs and bacon.
After the meal he took his time to get to the academy, it was a nice perk of waking up early. He could actually enjoy the morning. Things like the sun rise, the clouds, the smell of dew, people always seemed to miss them, take them for granted. He even took a moment to meditatively walk as he approached the doorway. It squeaked a little bit as he pushed it in.
No one was sitting inside, all of the desks were empty, it would be kind of eerie if he wasn't used to it. He pulled out his scrolls from his backpack and began to read:
"Clone Technique: The art of creating a copy of oneself through the use of chakra. Though it is not physical and can not attack, it can be used as a diversion, to confuse the enemy, and be a pivotal role in combat if used correctly." - Art of Ninjutsu, Volume 0.I, By Ui Tie of Konoha.
Chuta began to practice focusing his chakra. Pulsing it on and off in his mind. His body throbbed a bit. The chakra moved like a wave, one that was controlled, like a kid splashing in water he could create big ripples or small ones. He had yet mastered the ability to control his chakra more than this. Though he was able to sustain the chakras presence, like putting his hand in water and constantly moving it.
Before he knew it his other classmates began to walk in. His friends said hey and took their seats, knowing that Chuta liked his morning to focus. When the instructor walked in their dull roar nullified to a silence and everyone was ready for the test. Chuta raised his hand and requested to go first. I think I am ready for this, or is that just the confidence leaking in from yesterday? He pushed the thought of his arrogance away.
Once the instructor waved him forward he centered himself in the middle of class and began to focus. Pushing his hand into the water, shaking it a bit, letting his chakra fill his mind. All he needed to do was project this thought into reality. He pictured himself standing next to him. That was the easy part. Then he pushed his chakra outward and let it build into his bodies shape. This couldn't be seen but with enough chakra... push, just a little deeper... the metaphorical hand played with the water.
A large puff of smoke emerged next to him, a perfect copy of himself could be seen it dissipated. The long jacket looked good. His clones body was almost identical to his one. The only thing that was off was the symbol on his back. It tilted to the left a little more than it should, but he didn't think the instructor would catch onto that one.

Chuta’s Lessons/ Continued
Sat Aug 17, 2019 9:01 pm
Practice, practice, and more practice. That seems to be the only thing he does nowadays. In his off time he’s even been reading about the intricacies of ninja combat. The volumes of ninjitsu his uncle gave him were proving to be valuable. He said something about how he obtained them, though it slipped Chuta’s mind. Today was going to be a busy day.
Waking up at 0500 in the morning was a normal thing for him. Walking to the breakfast shop, eating his usual eggs, bacon, and wheat toast for breakfast. Heading over to the academy for some more practice. But before he started he liked to read a bit. Pulling out a scroll labeled, “The Five Great Nations, Ninjitsu, Volume 0.11, A History.” And be Han to read.
The economic stability that Konoha was provided, the large forested area that surrounded the village that is, was had a much larger impact on the world than Chuta thought. The wood they gain was a valuable commodity that allowed the hidden village to thrive and grow. He’d always known that, but just how much was unthinkable, not to mention how the forest hasn’t wavered. It seemed to be a never ending source of goods. Chuta was thankful.
The door to the academy squeaked open as his classmates began to trickle in. Its that time again. he thought. Waiting for everyone to arrive. Today they were learning about chakra flow. The channels that it travels and vital points to be aware of in combat. Chuta knew about them in general, but their exact location always alluded him.
Once the instructor walked in everyone was ready to learn. He pulled down a map of the body and pointed out the spaces that would be talked about for the day. Three main areas of chakra flow, the neck, under the right arm, and a space above the left hip. The instructor continued to talk about why these points were chosen for today’s study,
“You see,” he pointed to each in turn, “each point represents an element. Fire, water, air, for today. If these points are struck at the right angle and with the right pressure. One could lose the ability to channel their chakra.” Chuta’s eyes widened. “... not permanently of course, just for a few minutes or hours.” The instructor seemed to like to add little cliff hangers, Chuta almost thought he was teasing their ignorance.
Chuta looked at the map of the body. The long channels that went through the arms and legs, up the spine and out to the hands and feet. Each was special, each allowed the ninja to control and harness the spiritual and physical powers of their body. It was remarkable. The hand seals seemed to focus this energy to a specific will of the user.
“With that all said, there are some that can actually see the flow of chakra through the body, these individuals are usually part of clan, a bloodline that grants them a special ability.” The instructor went on. He made a small list on the board but Chuta didn’t bother writing it down. He could easily look up the names in one of his scrolls on chakra. No, he was more mesmerized by the fact that people had the ability, not only to see chakra, but to strike at the flow. In the school house was one thing, in combat? He shook his head. He knew it was possible, but to take all that time and practice it? That was remarkable.
“There are some medical ninja that could do the same. jutsu is used to see the parts of the body, and they strike them with pinpoint accuracy.” The Instructor finished.
Chuta could see the others, all wide eyed and curious. He wondered who would jump head first into the practice. There was someone here that would for sure. Medical ninja were abundant. He remembered the ninja that saved his life when he was young. He would always be in his debt. Though it was interesting, Chuta couldn’t see himself jumping into it like crazy. Learning about blood vessels and anatomy is one thing, basic healing techniques, alright. But hours of training? He’d rather practice with his sword.
“There are other ways to overwhelm your opponents chakra centers. Similar to genjutsu, you a skilled practitioner can project their chakra at another persons body and paralyze them. This is known as the
Later that day Chuta got home and went for a run. He enjoyed the late night breeze and watching the people pass by. He just thought of the heavy breathing as a chakra exercise, inhale through your mouth, slow exhale through the nose. He could almost feel the chakra build up in his abdomen. If he were to preform a hand seal or two it might actually overpower the jutsu. Man I have to gain more control over that he thought.

Lessons Continued
Sun Aug 18, 2019 8:04 pm
Date: 50 Summer, 419AV.
Chuta looked down at his hands. Dirt covered them, it was even in the little scratches that he had received earlier. It caused the cut to burn in a deep harsh sensation that pulsed at his palm. He placed his hand back onto the ground and continued his pushups. Twenty more. He wasn't going to finished give in till his punishment was complete. He had failed the jutsu three times in a row, that is ten pushups per failure. His shoulders burned as he continued.
The training area was nice. With the sun coming up over the horizon and the dew settling on the ground, if he closed his eyes he could almost feel the rocking of the ship him and his uncle stayed on for months. The smell in the morning always reminded him of the good times. His uncle was a good man, even if they don't spend that much time together anymore, he knew he loved him. The old man was busy with work and Chuta was staying busy with his new career choice. Though, in moments he punished himself he wondered if he wanted to continue. Knock it off... He shook his head.
One... zero... He pushed out the last pushup. Chuta rolled over to his back then sat up. Remembering what his instructors always said, "don't look defeated. Sit up straight." words like that stuck in his head. Gold nuggets for life. "When you walk, keep your head up. Don't let people think that life has you defeated." Ever sense he heard this one he tried his best not to slouch.
Chuta stood up. lets try it again. He walked over to one of the scrolls that he took from his uncle. They were laying on the ground, three of them, all sealed with his sealing jutsu. Chuta focused, pushing his chakra to his fingers. Seat streaked down his brow in a small but steady stream, more from the pushups than anything else. He raised his hand to his center, pushed his chakra to his fingers till he could feel them tingle, then they began to pulsate, he pushed against the seal on the scroll. His fingers fizzled and the seal broke.
One of three... He moved to the next one, completed the same movements. His hand began to pulsate and he pushed his thumb and middle finger against the seal on the scroll. The seal vanished and the rolled paper slide apart.
Last one.. Sweat began to push in thicker strands down his face. He moved his hand to the center. Focused his chakra. His fingers tingled. Pulsed. He pushed. The seal opened. Finally I got it... He thought. Reaching for his towel he wiped his face. It was about a mile or two to the academy. He'd have to skip breakfast but knew that it was worth learning something new. He went through his day in his head, Shower, class, home, read, sleep. He knew that it was going to be the same for tomorrow, but he wasn't gunna let it get him down.
