The Reaper and The Wraith Empty The Reaper and The Wraith

Sat Dec 07, 2019 10:37 am
It had been quite some time since he had last come here noted The Immortal as he simply strolled down the main ‘road’ of Sunagakure, specifically doing so through the area now known simply as The Scar, a district in and of itself within the heart of Sunagakure, made of little more than half collapsed buildings and rubble. He could understand why the people of the village refused to repair this particular section, as a reminder to both themselves, their future generations, and the world at large that no shinobi village, no matter how noble they portray themselves to be, are above committing true atrocities if it means winning one of their little wars. In the heart of the area, specifically amongst the rubble of what was once the Kazekage tower, was a simple memorial… a large, four sided pillar made from the finest sandstone, with names carved down each side. The names of those that died within the slaughter that Kinzoku the Butcher had unleashed upon the village, put in place by the survivors of the attack in an effort to remember those who had died… and to honour the memories of those that were unlucky enough to not have their corpses found or identified.

Did he care for this in the least? Of course not. These people meant little to him in life and they meant even less to him in death… but even amid the chaos of the village this memorial and area remained untouched… and that was quite interesting in and of itself. The monument hadn’t been vandalised once since its creation, and none of the various gangs had attempted to situate themselves within the heart of the village… it was quite interesting indeed. Perhaps it was because there was little of value here, or perhaps it was due to some unspoken rule that The Scar was off limits, or perhaps they simply haven’t gotten around to it. Many possibilities, only one of them true, and he had absolutely no clue which of those it was… none of these lowlifes were actually important or powerful enough for him to keep an eye on, most not even akin to the bandits that he used to slaughter in droves whilst he lived in Hoshigakure. Of course there were a few that stood out amongst the group, but nothing that he would consider to be truly special or challenging to kill… just the biggest fish in this small pond, but still nothing compared to the shark that lurked within the shadows.

He was only here because he wished to see the area with his own two eyes, and not the incredible vision granted to him by the Byakugan… and he had to say, it was just as underwhelming as he had seen with the eye… but perhaps that was the point. This wasn’t some gaudy monument of gleaming black stone meant to signify the glory and sacrifice of those whose names lie on it… it was simple a sandstone spire meant to simply remember those that died within an attack that they had no part of. The rubble and half collapsed buildings that surrounded it were proof enough of that, and the location of the monument itself, in the direct center of the village where the Kazekage tower once stood, was a message in and of itself. The people of Sunagakure would not forget this attack, and they would not allow the world at large to forget it either. Any and all travellers who visited the village would see the horrors of what had been inflicted upon this shell of a village, would know that each and every person who had their names of the memorial had been fighting the forces that killed them, and would know that none of them had been anything more than the casualties of a reckless attack by the Hokage of Konoha.

But then again… what else would the world truly expect from the Fire Nation? Let alone from the man that now sat upon the throne of corpses that had been crafted by the one true enemy of the world itself… Viper Uchiha. Not the First of the many Hokage of Konoha, but certainly the most infamous… and the man that had single handedly turned Konoha into what it was now… did those who lived within even know the truth of the village they served? Likely not… and they likely wouldn’t care even if they did. They would likely try to argue that it was a different village now, that it no longer followed the frankly insane dogma of the Uchiha that thought himself to be a god… but they still operate under the very same principals, and this monument proved that harsh truth more than any words could. They still followed the so called ‘Will of Fire’ and they still attempted to hide the truth of what they are behind hypocrisy and honeyed words… at least the Konoha led by Viper hadn’t been afraid to show it’s true colours to the world… but now the most feared village in the nations was little more than a beaten and broken shadow of its former self.

And in the mind of The Reaper… the fate that they were suffering was quite fitting for them

For it was a fate worse than death.

The Reaper and The Wraith Empty Re: The Reaper and The Wraith

Sat Dec 14, 2019 8:32 pm
As the Wraith went about his journey traveling across the world due to the connection between his fellow ring-wearers, he could only be brought with excitement to see someone he considered to be a true ally to fight alongside in the warzone. The atrocious weather of Sunagakure would remain an obstacle that caused the umber skinned male to grit his teeth and scowl, along with the array of beggars and pitiful souls that plagued the village, however the pros certainly outweigh the cons as he could reunite with his comrade and proclaim to the man how he conquered Kumogakure in his stead.

Upon materializing, he’d begin to obtain his senses once again and feel the harsh heat and stagnant humidity of the desert, along with being brought with his sense of vision and touch once again. He was glad the mechanism worked as he intended, putting it to the test now along such a vast space to overcome. Though as he neared the end of his materialization in his Raikage garments, the scenery would look...different. He hadn’t been absent for too long though seemingly long enough, though certain aspects of where he materialized were recognizable, a majority of which failed to be, missing an entire building beside him that seemingly disappeared. Did this happen during the attack on Sunagakure so long ago? He failed to obtain vocal contact with Kenshin, however he knew the man still drew breath due to their connection with the ring. The Uchiha would curiously turn his head to make contact with his brother in arms, though instead finding a sole Shinobi unrecognizable or capable of being sensed. A wave of confusion would begin to overwhelm Kutari as he looked towards the man with a puzzled expression, incapable of fathoming the incoherent turn of events, even more so unable to understand how his mechanism somehow teleported him to a completely different person.

He stood there shocked facing the man, though would look over the man deftly to see if the man carried the ring that connected Kutari and Kenshin. Alas, the ring would be equipped onto him, though this only proved to confuse the Raikage even more given the turn of events, how exactly did this foreign individual obtain the ring? The ring proved to be incapable of taking off once equipped, and destroyed if given the possibility of aggression on it’s fragile body, though somehow he became in possession of such an accessory despite seeming quite docile upon meeting. Normally such an idea seemed unfathomable, however he knew his friend quite well and understand he was a crafty fellow; hypothetically speaking, if the surgeon could possibly construct a way to change his physical appearance, it would make sense given the state Sungakure was in during its attack.

He’d hesitate before speaking, slowly reaching to grasp his katana though unsure if that was the proper act, the sun stretching directly above on Kutari and this fellow, adding onto the intense situation with his invigorating radiation, “Who are you exactly...If you’re who I’m thinking of, you’ve changed quite a bit.” Kutari would pause, contemplating his thought process and how to word this exchange as he was near ready to pounce on the currently peaceful foe, “Where exactly are we? I don’t recognize this place, what happened here? Where did the Kazekage building go?” There were so many questions needing to be answered, so much Kutari needed to be caught up on. The situation would only intensify as he assessed his surroundings, the rubble and destruction that surrounded them...Either this was from the attack on Sunagakure so long ago, or the man before him was the cause of such an act. They only stood a few feet from one another, however there was little sighting of human life nearby outside the chakra signatures nearby, which may possibly suggest the state of Sunagakure was doing well, or it meant the man before him had friends. Kutari failed to sense his chakra, a trait that Kenshin had as well during their time together, though there was no establishment between them prior to this sudden new appearance.

Given the scenario, Kutari’s reaction to this reality remained warranted. Having traveled so far without little rest upon the attack of Sunagakure, coupled with his inherent paranoia, he was a man already on edge and lacking trust in others blindly. Though this could be seen as another flaw of the ring itself, dropping someone in a new environment without any context or notification of the current setting could be volatile, especially if he did so while this man was in the midst of a battle. Though the true pressing matter remained: What happened to Kenshin? Had he lost his close friend on the battlefield without even being present to assist him, did he simply go underground and just lost a couple fingers, what caused this sudden change of appearance if this was Kenshin himself? It seemed as if the Uchiha’s life would never be capable of catching a break, having now been put in a stressful situation likely surrounded by enemies.

The Wraith would have already activated his minds eye of the kagura upon asking said questions to screen the man before him and see how truthful the words he’d speak next would be, unsure whether this would be a coax deployed by the foe to catch Kutari off guard, or really Kenshin himself. He’d insist to get an answer out of the man if he so paused, becoming more direct since there was little left to lose almost sensing some form of emotion at being brought with a possible reality he wouldn’t ever think to be true, “What have you done with Kenshin?

The Reaper and The Wraith Empty Re: The Reaper and The Wraith

Wed Jan 15, 2020 5:48 pm
Kenshin felt the presence of the man far before he had completely materialised, the familiar presence that he hadn’t felt for quite some time now, and the presence that in truth he had grown both accustomed to and began to miss upon its absence. There truly was something special about The Wraith, his very presence commanded attention in its own way, time itself almost seemed to slow to a crawl when he was around and the desert air almost seemed to become chilly. The familiar feeling of the mans chakra was almost comforting to The Mad Medic, who continued to simply gaze at the sandstone monument as The Wraith stared at his back in obvious confusion, his Byakugan again proving itself to be an invaluable addition to his arsenal. The confusion was to be expected, he had long since left this ruin by the time Kenshin had truly developed this technique, so of course he would not be expecting anyone aside from The Reaper to be standing there once he used their rings transport function. He would watch the practised ease with which Kutari came to grasp the hilt of his sword, before seeing and hearing the man talk, his words inquiring as to who he was, before alluding to the suspicion that he could perhaps be Kenshin. Of course that was to be expected, Kutari was many things and shrewd was certainly one of them, he had been behind the rings that the two of them wore and while he didn’t necessarily understand Miasma he knew that they possessed an unbreakable connection.

He would question where the two of them were, where the Kazekage’s building had gone, his eyes scanning the area before finally asking the one question that mattered. The chuckle that escaped the slightly parted lips of the strange figure that stood before The Umber Wraith was a sound that would strike cords of familiarity from those that knew Kenshin, and confusion from those that solely knew Stark, for the voice of The Reaper was what emerged. The gruff and somewhat hoarse nature of The Raggedy Man gone, replaced by the deep, dulcet smoothness that was the natural voice of The Ragdoll. He would allow his head to turn towards the man, revealing both his new face and the startlingly familiar set of mismatched eyes that stared back at him, one almost seeming to glow red while the other was a pure white, the eye itself almost seeming to be completely featureless, but the bulged veins around it revealed it for what it truly was. The grin that came to split the weary face of Stark was one that very few would recognise, and most that did would be terrified by it… but not the man that stood before him now. The grin showed just how excited and happy The Ragdoll truly was by this man's presence, almost appearing to be mad… but it was another clue for Kutari as to who he truly was.

“It has been quite some time my friend, tell me, how goes your task? Was Kumo painted red like the sands of Suna upon your arrival at the gates?” He would ask simply, his penchant for the dramatic not allowing him to simply answer the questions posed to him by The Wraith… not yet at least. He knew that he had given Kutari all the information that he needed to assume his identity, but not quite enough that he could be truly certain of who he was… but he knew that this was not the time for dramatics, he couldn’t risk losing an ally as valuable as Kutari because of something as trivial as his own amusement… that could come later.

“But first, allow me to answer your questions. We stand now within The Scar of Sunagakure, a grizzly reminder to all of what was lost to the attack of Konoha and Kiri in their attempt to end the threat posed to them and the world by Sunagakure and The Ragdoll that commanded it. As to who I am, well I currently go by the name of Stark to those who are not truly trusted… but to those that are I am known as something entirely different. I suspect you have already pieced together who I am, but I will confirm your suspicions… I am Kenshin Uzumaki, The Ragdoll… former commander of Hoshigakure’s Nova Corps and currently S-ranked Missing Ninja.” ‘Stark’ would explain with the voice of Kenshin, the monster within briefly showing itself for the viewing pleasure of Kutari, one of the few that he could truly say he truly trusted.

“Allow me to be the first to welcome you back into the fold my friend… We truly have much to discuss, but for now you are free to ask me whatever you wish, talks of your task can wait until later.”

The Reaper and The Wraith Empty Re: The Reaper and The Wraith

Wed Feb 05, 2020 2:02 pm
The puzzled Uchiha would overtake the scenery with a revitalized purpose upon receiving the explanation from the apparent Kenshin Uzumaki regarding where they now stood, beginning to recall the distinct features which still remained amongst the long altered wasteland. The man spoke with purpose as Kutari soon learned his wrath was ill directed in retaliation for the attack on Sunagakure: as Kumogakure wasn’t the perpetrators of said attack, but instead Konohagakure and Kirigakure as a collective. The raid that day happened so quickly, so swift in fact Kutari recalled little outside of a lust for blood and revenge. To think the village he recently conquered wasn’t even the proper target of his counterattack was frustrating - his efforts only providing a pitiful village that was already being conquered prior to his arrival.

Though that isn’t to say his travels there weren’t beneficial to his person, receiving various boons that would only support him in his conquest for power; the very thought of a particular boon in the form of a beast causing a low growl to erupt within his head followed by the words echoing in the chamber of his mind, “You Uchiha are all the same, the resemblance between you and one of your recent predecessor’s remains uncanny.” Kutari would hear the beast speak out of spite to him as it resided within him gathering its energy, in which he’d begin to chuckle in sheer awe - likely causing Kenshin to question the sudden hysterics - before speaking back to the beast, “Do tell me, who exactly is this predecessor and how do I remind you of him? If he isn’t here now it seems he simply isn’t good enough, and therefore couldn’t even compare.” He’d wait patiently for the beast to answer though nothing of the sorts would arrive other than silence, be it out of anger of its capture or utter disinterest to entertain the clear bait before him. It’s been like this for quite some time now, nowhere near speaking terms as this predecessor did no favors in keeping them in good terms.

He’d turn his attention back to the physical realm as only the rushing sand could be heard in the distance, looking before the man that provided a convincing story regarding his identity as Kenshin. Though the paranoid shinobi still had his suspicions, there’d be little time to go about such theatrics when it was safe to say this was the utter truth. After a few more moments would pass, he’d gather his thoughts to begin the debriefing of information between the two, “I see. It is good to see you then my friend, or at least this Stark persona you seem to have become. Alas, this is quite beneficial to know, as I need to actually reform my physical appearance to go into hiding so my original face isn’t too recognizable. My efforts in Kumogakure were indeed effective in bloodshed, you’re now looking at the 9th Raikage apparently. It was quite interesting actually, as I arrived there was already a siege taking place done by a lone Kiri shinobi, a big oaf clad in black armor. Now he’s here with me today within a corpse scroll funnily enough. In my travels I acquired quite a few treats that could prove to be useful in our usual dealings if that still interests you ‘Stark’.

Kutari would begin to retrieve the scrolls of Nobunaga Hiyu, Hato Sano, Jiro Uchiha, and Ares Pendragon as he’d continue to speak, revealing the various bodies before him, “Though I expect the deal to be worth my while, as I could use these organs for others or stocking up for the future, especially with my occupation for the time being. Ryo is always appreciated, though I’d be interested in some dna as well which could be of use to me or my allies in the future.

As he laid the scrolls out and activated them to showcase the various bodies, he’d rise from his position and begin to look over Kenshin once again with a bit more intensity, the introductions beginning to conclude as they could start to speak about much more important topics, “Kenshin, this entire scene just seems a bit peculiar. The village looks to be in greater shambles than when I departed long ago, though the camaraderie and overall morale of this place seems to be much greater than what I could comprehend. On top of this you seem to have changed, your explanation of this 'scar' almost sounded as if you felt pity for the people of this village and what they lost in such an attack alongside letting them erupt this memorial. Am I imagining it, or have you changed in ways other than your appearance? I’d have expected you to have long since attacked Kirigakure or Konohagakure while I was gone, but that doesn’t seem to be the case whatsoever, as if you’re nurturing this village and it being your main priority.” There were many questions to be answered as Kutari wondered about the current mental state of Kenshin, as surely something had changed in recent times, or potentially it was his imagination. Regardless, he could sense some troubling feature that was different about the male, especially with his diction describing their needs of discussion.

The Reaper and The Wraith Empty Re: The Reaper and The Wraith

Sun Feb 09, 2020 1:59 am
As Kutari suspected Kenshin was a little taken aback by his sudden laughter, but quickly wrote it off as the Uchiha coming to accept that this truly was The Ragdoll wearing the mask of a normal man. Shortly thereafter his ally would begin to speak himself, telling of how and why he would need to learn such a technique himself, and The Raggedy Man found himself agreeing with the assessment of his long time ally. The Ninth Raikage, a testament to both the might of Kutari and the ineptitude of Kumogakure… as it proved that his ally was powerful enough to butcher all of the defenders of a village, while showing that enough had simply rolled over that the village still had an existing shinobi force… he couldn’t tell whether that was admirable or pathetic on the part of Kumogakure. The fact that the village had been conquered twice in short succession, each by a single person, made him lean more towards the latter option. It was then that the man mentioned holding a few treats, and retrieved four familiar scrolls. He would mention his desire for both Ryo and useful transplants, something that would make Kenshin release a small hum as he began to think and examine the bodies that had been unsealed and presented to him.

It was then however, before he could give an offer, that Kutari would voice his belief on how strange this seemed to be, and how he seemed to have changed a great deal from their last meeting… and upon explaining his reasoning Kenshin couldn’t really disagree. The being that The Wraith had come to know as Kenshin was simply The Monster that had been in control of him at the time, back when he had been distraught about the death of Akihana and simply wished to watch the world and everything within it burn. It had been the assault of Kirigakure and its slave state that snapped him out of that mindset… and it had been the appearance of Mizuki and the presence of both Amaterasu and Kai that had helped him overcome the nihilistic approach he had started to take after that.

“You are both right and wrong my friend… I have indeed changed a great deal from what you knew me as, but it was more of a regression to what I used to be before I allowed my emotions to overcome me and transform me into the monster that the world now knows me as. I hold no regrets about what I did after I defected from Hoshigakure, I regret none of the carnage that I wrought nor do I feel pity for the countless I slaughtered and whose lives I ruined. I have simply come to realise that I was doing so out of a sense of foolish pride and a desire to see the world burn… I was acting little more than a child throwing a tantrum, but this particular child holds the power to make entire nations crumble.” The Ragdoll in disguise would explain to The Wraith, a small frown fixed firmly upon his face as he thought back to the insanity that he had surrendered himself to. It was pathetic and he knew it, and he suspected that Kutari would look at it in the same way that he did.

“After the attack on Sunagakure, when my fledgling empire was crushed, I came to realise that simple truth… and after I simply stopped caring about anything and everything, I allowed anarchy to reign and secluded myself within the corpse of this dead village. Simply put I developed a truly nihilistic outlook on life, and allowed myself to stagnate… it was only when I found out that Amaterasu survived the attack on the village and I gained new allies that I truly began to allow myself to return to what I used to be.” He would continue to explain, before allowing his dull red eyes to come to rest upon the form of his ally.

“I want there to be no mistake here, I am the same person that you allied with… I am simply not allowing myself to be controlled by my rage and bloodlust anymore. I have no desire to conquer anything, no desire to destroy and reform the village system… I simply wish to create a place for like minded individuals that want nothing to do with the current flawed system. I aim to turn Sunagakure into a haven for the strong, welcoming those from any and all village or walk of life to enter and test their strength against other fighters of worth. In essence… I will be transforming Sunagakure from a husk of the broken village system into something new, not quite a black market but not quite a village, something in between. Not exactly the most reaching of goals I know, nor the most exciting… but I have come to realise that I don’t actually care enough about this wretched world to try and force any sort of change. I refuse to play the pathetic games of the village system, and I refuse to become a pawn that tries to create lasting change… I simply want to create a place for the strong to come and test themselves, and a place that doesn’t follow the whims of a broken system”

The Reaper and The Wraith Empty Re: The Reaper and The Wraith

Fri Feb 14, 2020 1:23 pm
The Jinchuriki would allow his comrade to speak freely as he slowly turned his cheek and tickled his chin with a hesitant grasp as he stared off into the lackluster scenery of the village once known as home only months ago, and just how foreign it’s become to his sight. The scenery he associated so heavily with Kenshin would blur into pixelated grain the longer he spoke; a faint sense of aching as he only came to realize just how little he knew his apparent “partner-in-crime”. It was clear Kenshin had been active in his career for a prolonged period of time before their meeting, though the chemistry the two shared remained uncanny as they went about their combined feats to conquer and remain dominant amongst the Shinobi land, so much so Kutari began to overstep the boundaries of this man and what all he knew. Despite the difficulty of coming to terms with this news as his wording only suggested a complete shift in lifestyle, he couldn’t be frustrated with Kenshin as he himself had multiple persona’s as well that he could regress into - recognizing the “tantrum” personality he once carried and wielded so violently back in his days living in the black market.

A song of silence would saturate the terrain as the disconnect between the two formidable forces would be recognized; a fine boundary etching itself grotesquely in Kutari’s psyche as his partner’s words ricocheted throughout his shackled mind, burdened by the fact a single mundane voyage across the world in such a short timeframe would come at the cost of losing one of his most cherished accomplices in domination. The calamity which plagued the shinobi world would suddenly be culled as it’s influenced no longer as prominent only a few months ago, though simultaneously as Kutari’s world seemed to collapse a sense of acceptance and content rained down upon him. He knew all too well the past could never be changed nor reverted, and once a person makes up their mind there’s no going back on the matter. Whoever this Amaterasu individual is they must’ve had a great impact on his life after he gave up all care for the world around, and nurtured him back into a mentality in which he seems confident and sound with; in which Kutari could only accept the matter and continue to look forward.

The intake of information regarding the current plans for Sunagakure would dull his senses as the same thrill and interest he seeked months ago could no longer be found within this dream of Kenshin’s; a haven for the strong contradicted the basis the two established long ago, being that there were very few strong which remained in the Shinobi world. The only explanation would be found in that he intended to take on apprentices and imbue those lacking in said areas with power, guiding them to the river of unlimited power, though seeming to have no interest in their plans once they’ve been equipped with such tools. The idea would benefit Kutari in his own ways however, having more people to battle and take into his own army to continue the domination of his new reign, which only reassured him of the reality between the two’s conflicting interest to this day.

The Uchiha’s thoughts remained clear, unlike the apparent rage and bloodlust which Kenshin was consumed by long ago. Though he could relate and recall a time in which he was quite similar to the description Kenshin vocalized, that Kutari was nothing more than a crutch - a false representation of the greatness he could achieve, held down by his own arrogance and idiocy. However now, Kutari would transcend that previous mindset to attempt to nurture the village system in his own way, while Kenshin did so offhandedly even if he refused to do it out of their interest, for this reason they still worked harmoniously however would no longer need to be directly tied at this time. After taking a few moments to ponder his final words, he’d finally speak with a dull and passionless tone, “ I see. If that is where your interest lie I can only accept it out of respect, however do know in this utopia of yours those ‘similar minded’ individuals likely will derive naive and weak Shinobi who haven’t gone through the same development as yourself, and for that reason may arrive out of an interest to become powerful to repeat the rage you succumbed to not long ago.” Kutari would begin to walk towards the monument that was constructed in his leave, observing the fine details and selfish craftsmanship which the Reaper allowed to remain. A clear indication of his infamous scythe dulling in the rusted grain, abandoned by the transcended form of its master, Kutari would speak on behalf of the Kenshin he once knew to vocalize what this all means as he groomed the structured blade.

This isn’t a threat, however it can be interpreted you’re still playing into the system’s hands creating another tool for them to use or be at the mercy of, an example being myself. I arrived in Sunagakure to become stronger and test my might, and in doing so I am now the Raikage of a major village, and intend to send my regards to the two villages which have fooled you into what you wish not to be: a pawn. You’ve chosen to seclude yourself and feign ignorance to the system, when in actuality you’re the squad leader ripening Konohagakure and Kirigakure’s genin forces, whether they know it or not.

Kutari’s end remark would refer to the greenhorns that arrive in Sunagakure to amass strength, knowing oh too well the eternal boredom the wind country supplies along with the daydreams of “what if” and allowing the increments of strength to go to their head; the lack of experience and maturity would make them seek greater tests of power wishing to join or combat villages, or even Kenshin himself. “Tell me, this Amaterasu person, all of these allies you’ve obtained in my absence...How many of them can you trust? Maybe they’ve earned your trust through unimaginable tests that even I couldn’t comprehend, though as Sunagakure obtains more fame with your new plans, could you trust the new blood that arrives, or that they won’t coerce your own comrades to turn against you. Though pitiful, the village system has a vague sense of camaraderie due to being born and growing up together, that which this place lacks. I hope these possibilities have already reached your mind and been answered, as this could turn into a life or death decision, and I wish not to see my dear friend stabbed in the back especially in my absence.

He’d fiddle a kunai from his garments as he’d bring it up to the monument, carving a symbol into the work passionately becoming wretched and cruel, finally paying respects to the man he once knew that embodied such ferocity and terror. A new addition would be found taking far more space then the others and clearly writing over some names as its importance remained supreme - The Reaper’s Scythe. “This marks the end of your just calamity, Reaper. The Scythe now merely a burial ground for the subjects you once ruled over, symbolizing how your will has whisked away and the world will cheer without maintenance. Though worry not my friend, I’ll try to finish what you started in my own style.” A long pause would echo throughout the desolate sand as he bowed his head briefly before staring at the recent confirmed death of a short but sweet friendship. A calloused emptiness would prickle his body, however he knew his partner had to rest in order to truly be at peace - now it will be Kutari’s turn to lead the reformation.

In short time he’d walk before Kenshin and face him, a never before seen smile radiantly shining immaculately, incapable of deciphering whether the sudden display of emotions was a facade of his shattering world or appreciation for the friend he obtained in such a breathtakingly atrocious world. Regardless if nothing else was to be said by his ally he’d move on to other matters, “Do know Kenshin, you’ll always be my friend. Now, if there’s nothing more to speak on this matter, I’m sure your own allies could benefit from the bodies I’ve presented if you’re interested of course. Additionally I would appreciate the technique you used to change your appearance, I have much to do as the Raikage of Kumogakure and quite the plan to orchestrate.

The Reaper and The Wraith Empty Re: The Reaper and The Wraith

Wed Feb 19, 2020 1:06 pm
The Raggedy Man could practically see the turning of the gears within the mind of The Wraith as he spoke, his comrade silent as the grave as he allowed him to speak freely and uninterrupted. When his comrade finally spoke the tone in which the words were spoken was dull, lifeless almost… and in truth this did not surprise The Reaper in the slightest. Kutari and he had an interesting relationship, one built around their mutual respect for the strength of the other… and, most of all, their relationship had initially been formed when Kenshin was still consumed by his own bloodlust and arrogance. When he gave his own thoughts on this ‘utopia’ he planned to craft, and the downsides that it might have, he would simply remain silent and allow his long time ally to speak. He would watch as the man approached the monument in the middle of The Scar, silently listening as the man continued to speak and question in his ability to trust in the allies that he had gained, and of the ‘allies’ that he would gain in the future. Wise concerns indeed, and as the man drew a kunai and began to carve upon the monument he would silently observe, knowing that his ally would not be doing something like this without purpose. The end message left Kenshin speechless, although he was already simply standing silently out of respect for his ally. As the man turned and walked to him, an uncharacteristic smile adorning his face, followed by some heartfelt words and finally an end to this topic… Kenshin came to a startling realisation… He had made a rather severe mistake in his explanation, and that was something he had to rectify quickly.

“Of course I will teach you the technique my friend, I have no doubt it will be of great use to you as it was to me, and of course I would be more than happy to purchase those bodies from you… but before we get into that, I must clarify some things for you. You are without a doubt my most trusted ally, and dare I say one of my closest and most valued friends, and it would certainly be amiss of me to not explain some things to you.” The man would state, lightly placing his right hand upon the shoulder of Kutari, giving a small but true smile of his own, before stepping forwards and past the man, to the monument that he had just carved upon. He would place his right hand upon the monument, and with a small pulse of chakra the earthen construct would seemingly ripple, before the newest addition was erased. With a small smirk upon his face, The Reaper would look over his shoulder and meet the eyes of his ally.

“Our work is not yet done my friend” The Ragdoll would state simply, and before the very eyes of Kutari… the one man that he could truly call his friend in this wretched world, his form would seemingly shift. Where once stood the form of Stark… now there was something different, a creature from the most foul nightmares. Lightly tan skin having become translucent pale and littered with black veins, dull red eyes replaced by an unfocussed and putrid yellow, the whites of his eyes replaced by black… and worst of all, a tar-like substance flowing freely from the corners of his corrupted eyes, much like tears but far thicker and clearly unnatural. One of his dull yellow eyes would shift into the form of his Sharingan, before finally taking on the form of his newly awakened Mangekuyo, whilst the other had the veins around it bulge out in a show that the Byakugan within was active. The chakra that slammed down on everything within the surrounding 115 meters was truly foul, completely unnatural and beyond even that of a Bijuu in sheer power and corruption… something that would just go to show how far beyond human this figure had become in his thirst for power.

“What I said before was not a lie, those truly are my plans for the future… but, surely you have come to realise something in our time together? I am good to my allies, and in exchange for their loyalty and their help, I will offer my own… and my friend… you are most certainly my ally. I personally care little for this inane system of destruction and creation, I will make no secret of that, but anything you choose to do in the future will be done with my full support and backing, even if that means walking into the centre of Konoha and Kiri and butchering every last man, woman and child within their walls. Furthermore, my will is not yet dead, in fact I dare say it is stronger than ever, as I do have my plans beyond the simple crafting of Sunagakure… plans that you and those few allies I trust will be playing a rather large part in, but for those plans to be put in motion I must finish rebuilding what was destroyed by those fools that attacked us. My ‘just calamity’ has not ended just yet my friend… I despise leaving work unfinished and plans incomplete, and while my desire to craft a lasting empire has faded… my desire to construct a lasting legacy has not.”

“As for all the points that you brought up… I have indeed wondered about them from time to time, and I have indeed thought the very same things that you did. I know that this idea of mine will initially attract weak and foolish shinobi that do not have the strength to truly oppose the village system as you and I do, and I know full well that there is a good chance those I allow entry into the my ‘utopia’ might end up fighting for the very system I oppose and against me. I know there is also a good chance that these people may instead decide to attempt a forceful reform of the world and its systems as I did… but that is part of the reason I am doing this. As of now… this world is stagnant. The village system is weaker than it has ever been before, and whilst Missing-Nin like you are I are thriving… we are the minority… the majority is just as stagnant and weak, as powerless and fearful as the weaklings within the villages… and personally, I am sickened by it. What I intend to do with Sunagakure, and with those I truly trust… I intend to start conflicts, to be the spark of war… and with that war and conflict my allies and I shall grow in power and influence throughout the world.”

“I’m sure you have heard the tales of the Akatsuki, the many iterations that have attempted to shape a new world in their own ways… Dawn. Well, this new group of ours will be the opposite, we will exploit the current system to our own ends and fulfil our goals… We will be Hakumei… Dusk.” With that said he would turn to fully face Kutari, eyes still active and locked with his allies

“But for now… the world simply knows that The Monster, Kenshin Uzumaki, is lying dormant within the husk of Sunagakure, slowly rebuilding what was destroyed by the fools of Konohagakure and Kirigakure. This is a role I must continue to play, and while I could simply use this technique of mine to travel unknown, there is much to do here that requires my personal attention… but Hakumei will require a public figure to lead them… and what better candidate than the man that single handedly conquered the mighty Kumogakure.”

The Reaper would smile widely, revealing pearly white teeth coated in a layer of black ichor, and simply await his allies' response.

The Reaper and The Wraith Empty Re: The Reaper and The Wraith

Sun Mar 01, 2020 5:16 pm
As the harbinger concluded the funeral of the Albino Reaper, recognizing the being’s decorated achievements in it’s short lifespan, the crescendo of the event left an unsettling peace amongst the atmosphere. The scene begging to fade to black, such an uneasy send off seemed to be in poor taste with the relating cast as a resurrection of sorts commenced right before the Wraith’s very eyes; a sight he figured would forever be exclusive to the chambers of his memory coming to life as the Reaper made his stellar appearance once again, an array of tingles stimulating his nerve ends in excitement for the recent turn of events. He stalked his prey eagerly, hungering to tune in to the lucrative words his ally would likely come to spew with such an impactful reentry into his life as so. What seemed to be a bleak and unavoidable demise would slowly shape to become a salvageable rekindling of a short lived golden age.

Having grown attune to the vile chakra that coated the atmosphere upon His return, along with his own potent chakra accompanied by a ferocious beast of the same caliber, the chakra was surely present but by no means negatively impacting the Uchiha before him, simply there amongst the wind. This reality only proved how much Kutari had achieved upon leaving his coup and wishing to experience the lifetime that came off as a mere folktale. Having amassed such a wealth of knowledge and aptitude in such a small time frame, the majority of being immersed in such a world was thanks to no other than Kenshin, otherwise remaining an ignorant phony who believed himself to be the God of all creation within his limited ‘paradise’. Though difficult, it was clear he held the potential as he capitalized on his opportunity once presented and brought out his own true utopia.

The Uchiha would intently listen in on the ensuing reunion as Kenshin, the first to address an unspoken yet mutual understanding of the two’s naive camaraderie: the sheer amount of respect and loyalty to one another remains supreme. Despite the nature of their criminal lifestyles and the typical conclusion of such an elusive tale involving trickery and betrayal, the du’s relationship would never tether to such a demise of their vibrant unity. It was reassuring to hear that his partner in crime would continue to support Kutari regardless of his endeavors, now being the Raikage of the village the albino once vehemently despised, in truth such a possibility of fury worried the lost soul during his travels.

Kenshin would continue on speaking about an intriguing plan, hinting that it’d require not only the two of them but multiple accomplices to support its mass framework. The idea of such a ploy would make Kutari support his current focus on Sunagakure more easily, though curious as to what he was getting at. Therefore he held his tongue and allowed the man to speak, happening upon the name of Hakumei which piqued his curiosity with delicate lips.

The talks of creating an organization which would spark the shinobi world via war and various conflicts with a forceful push, aiming to stimulate the currently stagnant state in hopes of producing quality enemies out of their need to survive. Pondering daydreams of mass war teased the fine lines of the great shinobi wars in legend long ago, which only brought Kutari to a prolonged ecstasy of what was soon to come.

A crooked yet candid smile of the birthing leader would overwhelm the male’s face as he looked towards his accomplice in delight, having proposed an idea that perfectly explained the direction Kutari wished to take from here on but was simply ignorant to the possibility, “I see. The Hakumei, this is quite the proposition. My friend, you always have a way of appealing to my interests that even I’m unaware of.” Kenshin could see Kutari beginning to fiddle around impromptu, adrenaline encouraging his excitement with the mindscape of the world to come soon enough, lost in a sea of chaos and battle utilizing his experience foresight; peering into the male’s eyes would clearly indicate him lost in thought of the festivities to come. He’d return in short notice as his pleasure would suddenly turn to a deadpan silence as he stared at Kenshin with said realization.

The man that conquered ‘the mighty Kumogakure’ can’t be featured in the limelight. That persona is a face that must be concealed in case I ever have to return to his lifestyle; an assassin that motives forego him ever being the center of attention leading a crashing tsunami. No, no...The one who will lead the Hakumei must be a warmonger that wishes upon revolution and unafraid to be showered with fame.” Kutari would place a swift hand on his chin as he pondered meaningfully, needing to properly construct the perfect vision for the plans they will soon commence, “I’ve never gone into details about my past Kenshin, however I’ve been engraved with the mentality of never forsaking my duties as an assassin - to stick to the shadows and remain nameless. Funnily enough, not even the people of Kumogakure know the true name of their current Raikage. Simply put, I don’t feel composed to blindly lead such a mass organization and go against my code. However,

Kutari would’ve lightly begin to pace back and forth as he vocally expressed his thoughts to his ally, speaking aloud a consistent tool deployed by him to come to an exceptional conclusion to his predicaments - such a method never failing to assist him as he was upon the cusp of conjoining his reason for arriving in the first place and supporting the Hakumei in this way, “I have the tools to do what’s necessary, I simply need another mask to operate the vehicle. And with your help of constructing said mask, the Hakumei can begin to make their mark on this world, and I believe I know the proper segue.

Whispers of a cunning shinobi would begin to be heard between the two of them as Kutari painted the perfect picture of his ‘demise’ along with the emergence of a powerful shinobi, “You see, The Monster known as Kenshin Uzumaki indeed inhabited Sunagakure, though he wasn’t alone in this ordeal, hell he may not have even been the ringleader. Upon the attack placed by Kirigakure and Konohagakure to extinguish the growing cascaded dusk, they all but failed in cleansing it of it’s abyssal centerpiece and only tackled one portion. In truth, an envoy on the leader’s behalf traveled ahead to Kumogakure in the midst of dealing with the wreckage within Sunagakure to conquer the village and establish themselves as a force to be reckoned with. He returned to Sunagakure to retrieve the true leader, and in doing so the loyal envoy gave away the spoils of war to his leader to only proliferate his already immense power. Now amassing more strength, he travels to Kumogakure while allying himself with the stubborn will of Sunagakure to sow the seeds of conflict and disaster that will ultimately transpose this world to something worth inhabiting.

The coming plans of the Wraith seemed foolproof and quite the spectacle to participate in, organizing everything to fall properly into his lap as the leader should. Though he would initiate a series of events that he never thought himself to do long ago; having initially arrived in Sunagakure Kutari was a mystery regarding his origin and true expertise, even to Kenshin as he failed to share his family name and much more. He was comfortable at the time and still remained as such, being a criminal knowing full well the rarity of his lineage and how sought after it was; however Kenshin showcased a side of him that Kutari could only reflect with the same level of enthusiasm, describing trust and their chemistry that made him feel as if he was doing the respected man a disservice by not addressing his entire being which would likely only aid in their fondness for one another, or so he hoped.

As he began to speak, the same talisman of the crimson ripples that remained one of the pinnacles of dojutsu would form before Kenshin as he no longer hid such information, his own unique Mangekyou pattern being realized as it was never before seen from Kutari’s knowledge, “I’m sure through the dna you retrieved months ago when you swapped various organs into me that my blood was a special case; I never officially stated my full name during our initial meeting, which I’m sure you can guess why in our line of work but I can’t continue to blow smoke in your eyes if we continue to enter this new age. Apologies for that, my friend. I am a proud member of the Uchiha clan, Kutari Uchiha. Apparently my parents deserted Konohagakure upon my birth, and though it’s unimportant at the moment my entire life story and how I came to the doorsteps of Sunagakure, sadly I do share some blood origin with the heathens hailing from the land of fire and likely could be found in their medical records and bingo book. It sickens me, especially considering the Uchiha clan becoming subjugated to another village so easily, therefore I have no sympathy for such weaklings that clearly only share ties with our ancestors through name and not competence.” Kutari would get slightly off track as his emotions ran rampant describing the utter disgust he had for those who defiled the Uchiha name, losing himself in the thought as it only added to the long reigning list of reasons why he he loathes Konohagakure and his vendetta being much more deep than simply an enemy village.

He’d stop briefly as he looked towards Kenshin with his Mangekyou still active with still more tales to share, “There is more my friend, as my travels to Kumogakure featured spoils that I would’ve never imagined. My return to this village was not only to inform you of my success nor expectancy to craft a new face, but utilize the village archives to research the infamous chakra beasts and how to harness their power, for you see I am now the host of the Six Tails - the Six-Tails Jinchuriki. One of the casualties I cut down seemed to be the previous host based upon the seal on his body, interestingly enough sieging Kumogakure at the time on Kirigakure’s behalf, it seemed as if Kirigakure were trying to take over the world in one fell swoop. I have the body with me here to sell, though the only evidence I can show you of this bijuu would be the seal along my chest as I’ve yet to learn how to control the ferocious beast’s chakra.” Kutari would unlayer his clothing briefly to show the seal placed upon the wanderer back in Kumogakure, verifying what he was saying to be true. “Now, I hope to take advantage of the ancient archives of this village to see if they have teachings of the bijuu that aren’t as censored as Kumogakure. Though with this bijuu as a tool, I can further justify why the true leader of Hakumei wields a bijuu and sharingan eyes, while the one who conquered Kumogakure on his behalf suddenly disappeared to never be seen again, giving his life to benefit his master.

Having walked Kenshin through his method of thinking to address the leader of Hakumei, along with revealing the truth of what all happened and his origin to the man, it was all within his ballpark as to what to do now and how to address these turns of events, Kutari having the utmost confidence all will be well and this will be more convincing of his argument. “What say you to this all? Shall we begin the process of creating the leader of Hakumei? I’m sure his coming actions to produce conflict will gravitate eyes towards Kumogakure to where this village will have more than enough time to recover and build their defenses. We will soon be upon the next Great Shinobi War.

His goals were now painted clearly as the next series of events for Kutari will be obvious, now hoping to see Kenshin agree with his antics and support this motive to hell and back. The villages won’t be prepared for the coming calamity to come, all of which necessary to secure an opportune and secured world from the once weak and feeble version. If he had to play the villain and create hatred to see the world answer his call to action to fortify themselves and prosper once again, if he needed to be the spark in the night to manipulate the villages to amass strength just to overcome him, before finally retiring from his cold nightmare, so be it.

The Reaper and The Wraith Empty Re: The Reaper and The Wraith

Fri Mar 13, 2020 9:14 am
The mood of The Reaper would be elevated as he saw the life slowly returning to the eyes of The Wraith as he spoke, his greatest ally analysing and assessing the ideas and explanations being offered forth as easily as he had expected. When the crooked smile began to form on his face The Ragdolls own smile would widen even further, and as the man began to voice his interest Kenshin would struggle to contain the victorious laughter that he was feeling build deep within his core. Even as the man explained why certain portions of what he had planned would not work Kenshin would listen closely, taking note of the valid concerns his ally had and the ideas he was suggesting. The idea he suggested, of there being a shadowy figure that was the TRUE ringleader for both his actions and Kenshin’s own piqued his interest, but even more so was the confession that he was an Uchiha whose parents hailed from his own homeland, Konoha. His final confession, that he was now the Jinchuriki of the Six Tails, would cause Kenshin’s own eyes to open widely… His greatest ally was now the holder of the very beast that he had fled from only a few years prior, such a strange coincidence… or perhaps it was fate.

“Do not lament your heritage my friend, for believe it or not I was born within the walls of Konohagakure itself… I do not even have the ability to say I am simply descended from Konohagakure shinobi, I almost become one myself in my younger days. What else could be expected from the child of a Senju and an Uzumaki… and while I too feel sickened by the fact that I hail from such a weak nation… a nation that allowed itself to become little more than the dog of a more powerful and deserving nation… it matters very little in the end. I am quite proud of my heritage, but the village that I hail from means nothing to me anymore… I have long since severed all ties that remained within that pathetic village. As to your lineage… I will not lie to you my friend, I already knew that you were descended from the Uchiha clan due to some light testing that I had performed upon the organs you gave me when I gave you those transplants some months back… in fact, one of the kidneys that I gained from you that day is now within my own body. I have possessed this Sharingan for years now, a treasure that I gained during my time as a ‘loyal’ shinobi of Hoshigakure, but it was your flesh that allowed me to truly make it my own.” The Raggedy Man would explain, gesturing to his still active Mangekyo Sharingan as he did so, informing The Assassin of just how much he had actually helped his plans develop.

“Speaking of the power I granted you… I never truly got the chance to explain what they were and what they could help you accomplish did I? As I am sure you have come to realise, one of the organs that I gave you has granted you the ability to absorb a source of energy very few even realise exist, Natural Chakra… the chakra of the planet itself, and something far beyond the control of most shinobi. Those that are unable to control the energy will be driven into a berserkers frenzy whenever they absorb too much of it, but I knew that you would be able to control it, and even if you struggled initially, you would conquer it and make it your own. The second transplant is from a clan that is quite prominent in Konoha… The Akari, the so called assassins that are able to manipulate Light itself, be it by draining all light from an area or by using it to blind their enemies. They possess quite the natural affinity for Ninjutsu, and their chakra is far more powerful than that of a regular shinobi… but aside from that they have little going for them. The final transplant though… well, it is another clan from Konoha, but this one has a far more storied and shady history… the Senju Clan, the very clan that I am descended from.”

“Allow me to give you but a small taste of the power that my clan has to offer, and why in the ancient times we were considered the only ones capable of matching the Uchiha” The Senju would state as he sped through a series of hand seals ending with Snake, the kanji for fit forming on his palm in what appeared to be blue fire as two wooden constructs, in the shape of dogs heads, tore themselves from the ground. This was but the first step, as Kenshin would then create two Wood Clones using the jutsu he had just cast as the catalyst, and once that was done would allow his control of the Foo Dog Heads to fade. The final display however… that was going to be the most impressive, with The Reaper simply taking a few steps back and becoming one with the sandstone monument, travelling through the ground unseen, unheard and unsensed by Kutari, allowing his right arm to reform and lightly brush against the mans foot as he went past, before completely changing directions and returning to his original position on the other side of The Wraith. From there he would allow himself to reform, seemingly being ejected from the earth without a sound, and he would release a light chuckle as this happened.

“Wood Release… an advanced element formed from combining Earth and Water, along with the uniquely powerful chakra and life force of the Senju clan… something that you now possess the ability to replicate. The jutsu I just used is referred to as Mayfly, and it allows a Senju to convert their body into organic matter, and then travel through any existing organic matter found within any surface… it is the ultimate infiltration technique, and to make matters even better, it grants one the ability to sense familiar chakra signatures on a global level through a vast network of organic matter.” The Uzumaki would explain, before smirking at The Uchiha and going through a set of five hand seals.

“Those are the seals needed to perform this new technique of mine, I have taken to calling it Advanced Transformation. The only requirements to learn it are a bloodline you already possess. Simply form those hand seals and surge your chakra, and you will be able to modify your appearance in anyway you wish, within human standards of course. I would recommend doing this in front of a mirror however, as you will be unable to truly see the face you are crafting otherwise.”

“And finally, in exchange for the bodies you offer, I will not be offering Ryo but something far more valuable… bloodlines of extremely rare and powerful clans, two of which I have been selling for 25,000 ryo per transplant quite easily, one of which is easily worth 20,000, and a final worth 15,000. These Bloodlines are, in order, Senju and Jugo, both of which you already possess, Uzumaki, which you do not possess, and Hozuki, which you do not possess. I will offer two transplantable parts for Jugo and Senju, Three for Uzumaki, and another two for Hozuki, in exchange for these bodies. Oh, and just for the record, the corpse of Alice has Jugo, Senju and Uzumaki Organs.”

And with that, it was down to The Wraith to decide whether he was willing to take this deal, and to learn the jutsu and element that were displayed to him. Provided everything went well, the two allies would part ways with an entirely new plan in mind… one that would benefit each of them, as well as their allies, immensely.

A new age was coming to this accursed world, and for the first time in his life…

Kenshin Uzumaki was truly looking forward to seeing just what the future held.

What a strange time to be alive.

The Reaper and The Wraith Empty Re: The Reaper and The Wraith

Fri Mar 13, 2020 8:41 pm
Class would now be in session as Kutari would learn a grandiose amount of information and knowledge from Kenshin which reigned from lineage to bloodlines to even jutsu. He’d take in each word with purpose as he became easily engaged by the passion riddled along his accomplices face upon hearing Kutari’s own words, receiving validation and security that the two had an understanding. He’d be informed about the origin of Kenshin and how he was a person born from Konoha as well, an intriguing discovery which only solidified their current fate in how far they’ve deviated from the village’s grace.

He’d be tutored on the various bloodlines that he ignorantly was seeping such power from all this time, the insightful knowledge would be a whimsical boon to receive now as he had names to reference each ability, understanding now how after he obtained the Natural Chakra bloodline he tapped into a special form of chakra and almost felt it consume him, before being able to manipulate it to do his bidding in that peculiar enhanced chakra state he utilized. Or how his Sharingan’s sight seemed to mingle harmoniously with the Akari dna and their affinity towards light constructs, his resistance to bright lights and such increasing to a high stature. Though what truly intrigued the Uchiha would be his now ties to the Senju clan, knowing tales and history of his ancestors battles with such a monstrous clan and their oozing chaka along with a very specific element that they had access to which Kutari never even knew he could activate.

Kutari had always found it peculiar that despite reigning from the Uchiha clan, he lacked the ability to access the Fire element. It seemed this reason was somehow tied to learning how to use the Wood style in it’s stead, to become properly imbued with the Senju clan while still retaining his Uchiha features. He’d watch swiftly as Kenshin recited various handseals and caused varying effects to take place, wood style jutsu to erupt along with a peculiar scene as he was absorbed into the earth before coming across Kutari’s own feet in his movements, and then erupted out of it as if being pushed out. The explanation to come would be enlightening beyond belief, and Kutari could feel himself salivating at the untapped strength his mind was completely ignorant to this entire time; he could sense his body calling to him imploring the man that there was a component missing in the transplants he received, having obtained Nature Chakra awareness and Akari properties in himself. This was the missing piece of the puzzle.

The Uchiha born clan member would begin upon his adventure to greater heights as he attempted to muster up this chakra in a way Kenshin explained before along with it’s organic properties. Kutari had never learned an advanced element before though knew of their existence, and for this reason he felt it paramount to give it his all at these moments. Focusing on the route of fusing water and earth together, he’d become intune with the transplant he received beckoning him over to unlock the final piece of the puzzle that he’s word whispers of for so long, utilizing the handseals that Kenshin recited to copy the man as the Uchiha name was so formidable in doing. Soon enough he’d feel a sudden link and burst of specialized chakra that he followed through with and allowed to expel itslef, witnessing the Foo Dog heads erupt. He’d continue this trend as he mustered the strength to compose the wood clones from the jutsu he just utilized before stopping there;fascinated by the technique known as Mayfly as it would surely prove to be powerful in the future to come in the form of sneaking around and traversing far off terrain. With reinforced tenacity, he cultivated his chakra that he happened upon using this combination of water and earth to try to mingle with the earth below, feeling it envelop him and accept his grasp as he’d maneuver throughout the ground swiftly before coming back up again.

The excitement he felt would be immaculate, even when it seems he was at the peak of his potential which was already a vast commodity, there was still so much more to gain. He wondered what else would be found out there he could grasp for in time, completely astonished and wishing to one day discover these tricks. He was glad to have opened up to Kenshin as he did, this transparency allowing him to be in turn catapulted to once again a different plane.

Kutari would finally go about the series of handseals that interested him from the beginning, the reality to change his entire physical appearance. Though he didn’t try to mould his chakra to change his entire being, to test to see if it worked he would look towards manipulating the skin tone of his left arm, seeing it tether towards a different shade of the pale variety before taking it back to it’s original setting, foreshadowing the idea he would have in time.

Overall his visit to Sunagakure was more than profitable, overwhelmed that he’d be capable of still learning so much while being so far along the common concept of power. Though even he knew that there was a difference between raw strength and tactics, as his battle against the six tails proved such a comparison remained supreme.

Kutari would finally listen in on the proposal Kenshin had regarding the corpses, instead of paying in ryo doing so with various transplants that offered bloodlines. Not only would he get the dna he already had in him being senju and jugo, though he would also obtain Uzumaki and Hozuki. Uzumaki he’s heard of in the past and know Kenshin hails from, though Hozuki was another treat he now had the tools to study in detail and figure out what exactly they could all but do or even research about. He’d learn about the organs in Alice as well which was helpful and good to know for future purposes. A lucrative offer, one that Kutari would happily accept.

Of course my friend, the information you’ve offered me that I now possess along with these transplants will be very beneficial for myself and any allies I make in Kumogakure that are worth keeping around. I humbly accept, and forever thankful to have you as an ally in these times. Let’s conclude this arrangement and proceed to go our separate ways for now, though soon enough the world will be in for a surprise. A new page will soon be written upon. Keep an eye out for one of my eagles from Kumogakure, an invitation will soon arrive that will lead to the sparks of war.

With that, Kutari would accept the trade and give the bodies with their current contents of Nobunaga Hiyu, Hato Sano, Ares Pendragon, and Jiro Uchiha to Kenshin. In turn he’d receive a liver and two lungs of Uzumaki dna, two lungs of Hozuki dna, two arms of a senju and a jugo arm and leg. He’d put the organs in his cooler along with the actual limbs in scrolls for later use before walking away and beginning his plans for departure in a much more swift way then he initially thought he would upon arrival. The time had now come to enter a new stage of their lives that would be life changing. Though first he had to visit the old archives to obtain a certain book he recalled browsing in the past.
