Yoi was walking through the village after seeing the meteor shower last night. It was a really beautiful one at that. It had been years since Yoi had actually seen one. He saw a piece of paper out of the corner of his eye. It was advertising a man trying to have people find parts of the meteorite. Yoi looked at the point where the man would be informing them of this information and the time. He had only 5 minutes. Yoi jumped up out of the middle of the street, drawing a few strange looks. Yoi maneuvered himself onto a rooftop, before running across them. Rooftops were the fastest way to run through a village due to the fact that, well, not many others did it. It was a nice little bright spot in his life when he met another rooftop runner.

Eventually, the Yuki made his way to the scientist. He spotted Hanabi, the girl from the training grounds the other day out of the corner. Walking over to the young girl he said, "I'm assuming we're here for the same thing? If you are, do you want to form an alliance, with me?"

When the man started speaking Yoi listened well. "Welcome! I’ve called you all to search for a meteorite. It’ll be shiny like this." The man showed an example. It was about the size of the man's fist. Clearly this man was quite interested in this. Yoi almost thought that this man was a collector, before remembering that this man was a scientist. "I’m expecting a chunk about this size from each of you. The reward is the ryo promised to you and, of course, some of the ore after my assistant processes it for you." Yoi raised an eyebrow. Money and a rare material. Holy shit, Yoi was in.

Yoi leaned over and whispered to Hanabi while grinning, "Never said anything about alliances."

Snow had been spending a lot of times in the areas surrounding the village for his hunting and gathering. He liked the time he spent just outside the village, it allowed him the time to breathe in fresh air and to be away from other for a while. It gave him the ability to be in some peace and quiet while he gathered and sorted all of his thoughts. This was becoming much more necessary day by day, his thoughts were becoming more and more angry and sour towards the people he was around in the village. The memories of his mother's brutal death were beginning to pile on top of him and the peace and quiet is what allowed him to breathe and try to calm himself down before having another night like the night he tried to kill his teammates without even knowing it. 

There were plenty of benefits of being just outside the village other than the fresh meat and the tranquility. He got to see new kinds of people from time to time, usually also hunters and gatherers who enjoyed the peace and quiet outside the village, but he also got to hear about the mines that could be found by miners who would visit the village for the occasional drink and night away from the mines. He had from time to time spoke to these miners, and the few miners that weren't complete jerks that actually gave Snow the time of day would explain to him what they would find in these mines. 

But the most interesting conversation that he had out in the forests happened only days ago. There was talks about a meteor being found in the middle of the forests. The traveler that had told him about it wasn't exactly sure if it was true. But the traveler described the spot that he did see a massive crater in the crust of the Earth. The area that the traveler described was a spot that surprised Snow because he was familiar with the area. It was the only spot in the forest that he was able to find Dragon's Foot, a type of herb that Snow used in his burn cream. The exact cream that he gave Asahi in the training grounds. 

He was actually in need of more of the herb, so when he found out there was a meteor there. That was just added incentive for Snow to head out that direction pretty soon to get himself something a little extra at the same time. He was gearing up for the trek to the crater when he passed by a mission notice on the notice board. Someone was actually contracting shinobi to find the meteor and bring some back to them. Snow's eyes widened and thought how lucky he was. He would be able to get a piece of a meteor, some Ryo, AND his restock on the Dragon's root. Snow grabbed the notice from the board and he ran off to the contract issuer. 

When he arrived, there was already two individuals there. One with beautiful white hair, and Yoi. Snow walked up to the Yuki and white haired woman and bid them good day before the man before them began to speak about the task at hand. The man showed an example of the rock that they were looking for, and Snow memorized the look in his head. He wanted to be sure he got the right type of rock. The look was very difficult to miss due to its natural sheen. When the man was done speaking, he left with the other members of the team and he told the others that he had an idea as to where the team could find the meteor. 

Snow explained the area that he was told about, even showing them a map with the possible crater drawn into the map. "I was given this tip by a traveler who claimed that he had seen it, so I am not one hundred percent sure, but it seems to be a legitimate tip for he had no thing to gain by lying to me. I have actually been here several times to gather a certain herb that I use for burn creams, called Dragon's root. So I do know the area that this meteor is supposed to be. I can show you guys the way if you would allow." Snow then shot his signature smile when he was finished speaking, showing that he was excited to join this team to find and gather some of this meteor. 

If the others would be okay with it. He would ask if they were all ready to go, and if they were then they would leave immediately to begin the trek to the crater and get themselves another mission complete.

Nekrun was laying around sharpening his scythe to a fine point when he decided to look outside to watch the night sky and noticed a poster up on the building next to his. He knew that his neighbors didn't like random people placing posters on their building, so he got up to go outside and take it down. As he grabbed the poster he got a strange urge to read it. Nekrun read over the poster, noticing the ryo reward, which enticed him to join in on the mission. Nekrun read over the poster once more and decided to join in. Nekrun crumpled up the paper and threw it away before he started his journey to the mission site. Nekrun made his way there walking at a normal pace, but still making it there not to long after Yoi and Snow due to starting his journey first.

When he arrived Nekrun noticed Yoi talking to two people Nekrun had never met before. He made his way over to Yoi and the others. Nekrun didn't know much about the area as he was used to making his way around the same areas to train. Nekrun made it to the group at the same time that the scientist started to speak. As the man spoke he was obviously excited to get his hands on some more of this special material. Nekrun made note that each individual would get the ryo reward, not being split between multiple people, which made him happy.

The man finally got done speaking and Snow immediately took the chance to show his knowledge of the area as well as the map he had gotten. After Snow got done speaking Nekrun decided that he should introduce himself, as he didn't know two of the people who he would be working with this would be very important. "Well that map should help us out, I trust that you can show us the way there safely. I'm Nekrun, I already know Yoi here, but not you other two, your names are..?" Nekrun would wait for their reply and memorize their names immediately. He had never had trouble memorizing things, especially names, during his life.

Hanabi said hello to her teammates, but since they weren't provided with instructions on where to even start looking, she thought that it was probably going to be more difficult than she thought. She had Byakugan, sure, but the ore could literally be anywhere. It could even be in another country entirely, if one came to think about how a meteor could split mid flight. Being so high up... there was no telling they would ever find it. Hanabi resigned herself from the mission and bid the others good luck.

Yoi would greet his other fellow shinobi, and then he noticed Hanabi leave. Yoi sighed, and turned to his friends. "That's a great map you got there Snow. I don't know about the dude you got the map from, however. I'm gonna swing by this guy's office and try and look through some of his records. He's bound to have calculations and data on the general area of where it landed. This way we can double-check and be more accurate." Yoi's voice had been low this whole time, to stop people from hearing him. He started walking up to the scientist and quickly activated Quiet Footsteps and used Ventroquilism to create a voice behind the scientist. Yoi silently walked into the man's building without being noticed, took a quick look at some calculations on a blackboard, and saw the important data. He quickly remembered it, before sneaking out a window and meeting back up with his friends. He looked at Snow's map and said, "I'll admit, that map of yours is pretty darn accurate. However, your map shows a roughly 10-kilometer radius area of where it could be. With the data from inside, we can narrow it down to a 4-kilometer radius." Yoi would then ask, "Do you mind if I draw on this?" If Snow said yes, Yoi would pull out a pencil and mark a circle on the map. This circle would be smaller, yet still inside Snow's. Yoi, however, all of sudden, realized he had much more pressing things to do right now. He said, "Oh crap, sorry guys. I have to go take care of a few things."

Yoi was nice enough to narrow down the map that he had been given weeks ago. While he was excited, he was in fact unsure about leaving the village at this point in his life when it came to leaving it for such a long period of time. He gave the map over to Nekrun and asked him to take it, in case he wanted to carry on the mission on his own. He then walked back into the village and headed over to the ramen shop.
