After Akarui suggested a course of action for them to take, Lord Kinzoku stepped forward to take the lead suggesting something similar to Akaruis plan. Akarui let go of the breath he didn’t know he was holding. Clearly he was relieved Lord Kinzoku took control. He had acted hastily in his surprise when the foreign Shinobi appeared and Hanabi had bolted making him feel like he was on his back foot. His relief didn’t last long when the foreign Shinobi took his hands out of his pockets and turned his glaze upon Akarui and replied to his suggestion that his employer knew the amount of metal in the area. This disappointed him a little but he kept his focus on the foreign Shinobi while his looked at Lord Kinzoku and shot down his agreement as well with a smirk before making a counter offer to the two men standing before him. Akarui kept his guard up in case things turned south quickly and remained silent letting Lord Kinzoku take the initiative. He didn’t want to mess up the negotiations but he was ready for whatever was to come.

There was no negotiating with this kid it would seem. He promptly declined both the Konoha shinobi's proposition, not willing to accept anything other than what he wanted. Clearly this kid had never negotiated before. Clearly this kid needed to be taught a lesson, including teaching him some manners. Apparently his contractor had managed to calculate the amount of titanium that should be in this area as well as the cave. IF tht were truly the case, then he must be skilled in his practice. Someone that skilled should be able to run their business properly. So why would they hire a criminal? That just seemed bad for business and most likely a like just so the missing nin could get what he wanted. Obviously Kinzoku was having none of it and didn't believe a single thing this kid was saying. For all he knew, the kid was lying. He was just going to take the titanium and sell it for himself. His left hand reached back up to retrieve the ever dwindling cigar, mere moments away from tossing it to the ground. If he was going to take the back to school, it would be dangerous to do so with his cigar.
However before he flicked it away, the missing ninja came up with an idea, inquiring if anyone could make titanium. Or anything close to it. A criminal down to the core of him. A missing ninja first, and now he was trying to screw over his apparent employer. The whole idea was rotten to its core. But, if it solved things peacefully where Kinzoku and Akarui could get to work then it was a best care scenario. The missing nin was fortunate Kinzoku had decided to do this mission on this day. Placing the cigar back into his mouth, he got down onto one knee and placed his metal hand softly against the rough earth below. He began pouring is chakra out of his hand and kneading it into the ground below. Slowly but surely, the ground began to crack and shift as steel clumps began forming. After a moment of doing this, Kinzoku would get back onto both his feet before padding the dirt off his knee.
"There, that should do it" he said, having been observing the missing ninja the entire time. "This is steel. Mining titanium ain't so clean as just giving you polished steel. So this will help make it look identical. Have fun" Kinzoku said with a grin. With the steel being in the ground much like the titanium being in the cave walls, the Yuki was going to have the mine the steel if he wanted it. After all, the deal was just to make it for him. The rest was on him.
"Shall we?" Kinzoku said to Akarui as he motioned towards the mouth of the cave. It were about time they got started with their mission. Time was a wasting and Kinzoku had eventual guard duty to get back to.

It appeared that everything went according to plan to the young Yuki's pleasure, seeing that the remaining two shinobi were complaint with his plan. The cowboy shinobi seemed to be able to create steel, using the ground as a source, at least for that specific scenario. However, Tetsuya was rather annoyed that Kinzoku didn't simply give him steel ore, but instead, he had to mine out the steel from the ground and make his contractor believe the steel was in reality, titanium. It was a rather daunting task...for a regular ninja, but the young Yuki was a Missing Ninja who needed to have expertise in deceitful tactics to even survive a day in the outside world. Nevertheless, the Yuki felt as though the cowboy shinobi had done him a great deed by making counterfeit titanium and it was common knowledge that great deeds should always be appreciated. "Appreciate ya," Tetsuya said in his regular voice, but by regular, that meant in his usual dry, monotone voice that was devoid of emotion. Deciding that his Refined Katana has sharp enough to mine the steel, he'd speedily unsheath it before repeatedly stabbing, slashing, and hacking the ground before him with his utmost efficiency. The boy estimated he could mine most of the steel in about a few hours, enough time to "complete" his mission.
As he finished mining all of the steel in the area, Tetsuya would place the ore in his bag and depart, not looking back as his encounter with the shinobi was now pretty much-forgotten history to him.

Once Kinzoku saw that the criminal agreed to take the fake titanium, he would proceed on to the mouth of the cave with his Genin partner. He did not lose focus of the missing nin however. That would have been unwise to let his guard down with the likes of him. Not until he started hacking and slashing at the ground filled with steel did he safely proceed into the cave. There were a couple of benches and tables where workers could rest and leave their things if they so pleased. Kinzoku opted to leave his things there, removing his crossbow, jacket, and hat as he neatly placed them atop a table. Brushing his hair out from in front of his face, the Nazar began rolling his sleeves up to the upper part of his elbows. "Hope you're ready to get you hands dirty" Kinzoku said with a grin just as he finished tailoring his own shirt. Walking over to the station where the equipment was, he reached down with his steel hand and picked out a sturdy pickaxe. The Nazar waited for Akarui to do the same before proceeding deeper into the cave to begin their mission.
The cave was poorly lit with light bulbs scarcely placed throughout, perhaps an attempt to save on expenses. It was clear as day that the workers already here did not appreciate the presence of the shinobi duo. But Kinzoku paid no mind to the stares coming his way. He was here to help out and do a job and that's all he needed to focus on. Finding a relatively empty spot with minimal amount of workers, Kinzoku began setting up his stance. Once the young Genin was set up and ready, he'd give him a nod before turning to the wall directly in front of him. With a single vertical semi-circular swing with both hands, Kinzoku swung the pickaxe right into the wall with all his strength. With just his first swing the pickaxe dug deep into the titanium filled wall, releasing a bit of the metal in just the one swing. With a couple of hard wiggles the pickaxe came free and he took it in one hand. His other hand retrieved the titanium on the floor and tossed it into the trolleys set up along the cave which would carry the metals back once filled. Kinzoku continued with this process. Swing. Stab. Remove. Continue. Even though the cave was laced with titanium, the metal was not found with every single swing of the pickaxe. It took some digging in order to find it every now and then, which would take time.
The physical strain such a job took on peoples bodies was nothing to fret about for the Nazar. The Nazar clan is a clan of monks. Monks fashioned themselves in training both the mind and body to be the best it could be. From a young age they were put through rigorous training courses in order to sculpt their bodies into perfection. Kinzoku was no exception. He was never considered the best in his class when it came to pure strength, but he was above the average shinobi. His training throughout the years as a Nazar had basically prepared him for doing tasks such as these without pulling much of a sweat. Being raised in Suna also helped him with the heat. There was very little within the caves to help cool it. Fans were placed here and there but they weren't very effective. But to Kinzoku, this was similar to his days in the Wind country.
After long hours and non-stop swinging and collecting, taking breaks with Akarui when needed to refresh or eat, eventually the job was finished. Tossing the last of the titanium gathered into one of the bins, Kinzoku would proceed back to the mouth of the cave. Once arriving he would deposit the equipment where he gathered it. Cleaning off as best as he could, the Nazar proceed to put his jacket and hat back on before slinging his crossbow onto his back once more. It was time to collect their minuscule award for the hard days work they had done. The duo would proceed to the "office" setup of the on site boss currently running the operation. As agreed, all the Titanium they collected would be handed over to the company. Well, basically all of it. For their efforts, all they were given was an ingot of titanium. It was still good enough to mold or use for whatever they pleased. But more still would have been nice. Without complaint, Kinzoku took his reward expecting the young Genin to do so as well. Once they had both been given the titanium, Kinzoku would walk back tot he village with the genin where they would collect their ryo reward from the village for completing the mission.

Seeing the troubling situation with the mercenary Shinobi that blocked their way into the titanium mine coming to a reasonable conclusion in Akarui’s eyes, with the rightful owners of the titanium within the area allowed to now take home their goods to their base of operations. Sighing with relief, Akarui turned and followed Lord Kinzoku into the mine shaft to start the mining leaving the shinobi to dig up the substitute metal for his employer.
The mine shaft was dark with dimly lit electric lights periodically to show the way down into the deeper parts. Before going further, Akarui preceded to walk toward the benches and seats that were for the workers to leave their things and pick up some mining equipment. Seeing the lockers off to the side, he chose one that was empty before taking off his jacket and katana to store them inside it nearly putting one of his pouches in so they wouldn’t get in the way but decided better of it. Along the wall were several jumpsuit overalls to don while down inside the shaft provided by the mining company in charge of the mine. Akarui found one his size and chose a sharp looking pickaxe to mine with.
Ready to go, Akarui looked at Lord Kinzoku and nodded following him down to the deeper parts of the mine. When they found a suitable wall of earth that showed signs of titanium lacing it. Picking his spot, he readied his stance, Akarui prepared to swing his pickaxe and gave it all he had. It took him half an hour to finish one meter into the walls surface, swinging repeating and collecting all the more that fell out while clearing the rumble that didn’t include titanium. He had filled a quarter of the empty mine cart that had been left by the previous miners. It continued for another hour before he had to move along to another area as he had gone as far as the support beams would allow him to dig. As he pushed the heavy mine cart back up the hill with ease. If he hadn’t been a Shinobi, he wouldn’t have been able to fill this cart this quickly then push it back up the mine like it was nothing. After leaving the cart in the designated area, Akarui took another and repeated the process the rest of the day. Many people stared at the two Shinobi as they did this all days with not so friendly stares. Fortunately none of them caused any trouble for them as they worked.
Before Akarui knew it, the day had come to an end. They returned to the equipment area to return the tools they borrowed then collect their items from the lockers and change out of the overalls. After making sure they had met the requirements of the contractors, Akarui and Kinzoku parted ways after reporting the success of the mission.
