Hunting A Thief [Hunter][Kizmaru]

Keita stood on the roof of a building, looking out at the mist that blanketed the village, as he sighed a large breath from his lungs. He had just received an emergency mission from the administration that told him that they had tracked down the thief that had been terrorizing this side of the village, and Keita was heading towards the meet up location with his partner on the mission today, which was Kizmaru. Keita would usually be happy, although lethal force was permitted in the mission this time, and Keita still was unsure if he could actually kill a person if he had to. There was still the side of his personality that felt that he could do whatever he wanted to someone like the thief, who was  less than trash, although the thief did not really harm, anyone in his thievery, so Keita would prefer to keep him alive, if possible. Negotiations such as this never really panned out, however, and Keita knew that he would probably have to fight this person, and they were going to do something that warranted them going down. Keita was not sure at all if he could control his strength enough so that the thief would live once they got his with a jutsu, but Keita was also happy that he was completely ready, a couple of seals on his body were itching to show their might in todays mission, and there would be a great number of things he wanted to try out in a real fight, if possible. Keita jumped from the current roof top to the next, and started heading towards his destination, which was a trade district in Kiri. The thief was last spotted heading into a warehouse off to the north of the village, and so Keita headed there immediately. He looked on from the meeting point, which was fairly far away from the warehouse, and stood there, waiting for Kizmaru to make an appearance so that they could start their raid on the warehouse. This warehouse contained quite a bit of unrefined ores that were waiting to be shipped to their respective black smiths, but there had been a delay, and so the thief was probably a bit comfortable waiting out there, as no one should be getting near the warehouse building for a couple of days. The time was just starting to hit dusk, not quite bright, but light enough for people to see things from a decent distance away, of course hampered by the constant mists that hung over Kiri, but they were not particularly dense today, so they should have very little visibility problems doing today's mission in capturing this thief. Keita took a few deep breaths to calm himself down so that he would be completely ready for this mission, and he made sure to shut off the part of his brain that was unsure if he could do this, and he was filled to the brim with a cold, calculating confidence in himself.

Reports had come in that a thief was sighted somewhere in the village and it was up to both him and Keita to capture the culprit in question. Though it's preferred for the thief to be captured, using deadly force wasn't out of the question either just in case things got hairy. Well, either wa, Kizmaru had planned to use deadly force in order to subjugate the culprit in question if they didn't comply with the surrender he was willing to offer them. He already had a hunch of how this would go down in the first place. So it was better to at least perform the courtesy of offering them a choice to surrender just to say he tried. Arriving at the location of where the thief was sighted, he noticed his partner Keita had already taken a vantage point on a nearby building in order to better cover the area.  Their target location had been a warehouse, housing unrefined ore that happened to be on schedule for delivery soon. If anybody was going to steal from it, now is the time for somebody to attempt to steal and that's just what was going down right before the shipping.

At dusk, Kizmaru appeared in the streets of the Kirigakure, hoping to cover the village from both top and bottom with Keita being the 'eye in the sky' as he's taken to being on top of a building. Ready for the combat to ensue, Kizmaru was battle ready as he was wearing his yellow button down shirt, navy blue pants and black ninja tabi for mobility. He also had his Jounin Flak Jacket on around his torso, his sword across the left side of his hip, an ear piece radio fastened in his earlobe and his weapon pouches filled with the projectiles he had behind him his hips for ease of access. He was combat certified at the moment as he began to search streets around the surrounding area of where the thief was last spotted. He couldn't have gone far, Kizmaru thought to himself. Well, if anything happened, Keita could just radio him if the situation changed in any moment, assuming he remembered to do so. Well, it was more or less go time in this particular time of night. He was ready to confront the thief, disable or neutralize him and continue on with his day if need be.

Mai Uzumaki:

As it so happened Mai had been informed on an incoming Ore delivery, right on scheduale as always. However She was running a bit late, and while having her chakra supressed and scoping out the scene, she noticed a man on top of a building not far off, and another man that was not far in front of her. You see it was easy to tell what his motive was due to how hard he was focusing on the area.

Mai decided she would go up high a ways behind the white haired male watching the warehouse. it so happened there was a small allyway that she could utilize to enter into the warehouse on the side not being watched. Here she would wait to see if she would be spotted or if stopped or approached before doing such actions. If successful she would attempt to wait out the other ninja to lure them into the full warehouse with other boxes. As she hid herself amongst the boxes to allow for her to utilize some of her techniques to try and throw them off if they followed her.

She would not take them head on if needed, that was a fools errand. however she would not launch the first attack , she needed to seem like she was defending herself in the case it came down to a fight in the public.

Keita had just finished getting himself ready, and started actually looking around the area, getting slightly farther away from the warehouse and on a slightly higher building so that he could get the most vision. As he looked around, he had seen his ally on this mission, Kizmaru, looking around the streets near the warehouse. Since Kizmaru had that part covered, Keita decided to look around the wider area, in case the thief wanted to run, the two of them were not exactly being stealthy in their tactics, so the thief would probably see them first, unless they were in the warehouse. Even then, the second floor of the warehouse had a walkway winding around the inside of the building that had some windows as well, but the thief would be easily seen from there.  Keita looked around a little more before quickly running down the side of the building and touched down on the ground, before immediately sinking into the earth. Keita looked around to make sure he was not being watched, before fully sinking into the ground. He thought that it would be a lot easier heading underground for this sort of thing, as his senses were expanded when he used the Hiding Like a Mole technique. He thought this would be a perfect time since this whole district had a stone ground, as well as the warehouse, should the thief be going that way, also had thick stone floors, it seemed to be the perfect jutsu for this situation.

Keita then vanished from the vicinity, and started to head underground towards the direction that he last saw the person. Since he could still sense what was going on above him, and he was much faster underground than he was above it, he headed toward the alleyway rapidly, attempting to see the person that he had spotted before, which should be really easy considering the large field of sensing he had while using the earth jutsu. The person was already fairly close, so as soon as Keita entered the earth, he could see the thief, which was around 40 meters away in the alleyway behind the building. He assumed they were the thief, as the other people in the area would have already left, or not have shown up in this area in the first place. Keita then raised his hand to his ear while traveling, using his radio to contact Kizmaru. "I've spotted someone who could be the thief, directly south of me in an alleyway. You should try to cut them off." Keita said, as he moved towards them underground, attempting to simply hide under them, waiting to strike at the proper time. He hoped that this thief would go down without too much of a fight, as he did not want to harm the thief too badly, but he would definitely stop her if he had to, using any force necessary. Keita was ready to pounce at any moment, and was a bit tense, and wanted to wait until Kizmaru gave chase before showing his hand.

It seems his partner had been aware of his arrival to the area in question. This was good for them as he wanted to get this over with as soon as possible. Walking forward, he began his search for the thief in question in the nearby area in the streets of Kirigakure at the same time Keita began his descent into the ground. He started to creep down alleyways and the side roads surrounding the warehouse just to double check the area before entering the warehouse himself. He wanted to make absolutely sure there wasn't anything that could come for him from behind personally before entering that warehouse. Kizmaru personally doubts that he would find anything out of the ordinary but it never hurt to check. After all, he still didn't know the whereabouts of the thief in question nor could he personally pick up on any chakra signature other than his partner, Keita who happened to be below the ground of the underneath him by now. Well, he figured he'd continue his search unless he heard word about the whereabouts of the thief from his partner. Until then, he would continue with his street search. He was banking on Keita being able to detect the thief before he did as he had more faith in his tracking skills than his own.

After searching the alleys and side roads for a little while, he heard some feedback coming from his ear piece. Raising his right hand, he placed it on the upper side of his ear in order to press a button to receive the message. According to his partner, he had picked up on the trail of their would be thief and was informed they were heading in the southern part of the area near the warehouse. As he made it to the small, five meter in width alleyway entrance, Kizmaru could see what looked like a young female attempting to break into the warehouse around twenty meters in front of him from the entrance he took. He wasn't sure if she could see him or feel his presence but regardless, he would make his presence known to her. "Oi, what are you doing? You're not supposed to be here, surrender and this will all be smooth and easy when I take you down for questioning. Now make this easy on yourself, give up and hold still so I can restrain you," Kizmaru demanded as he addressed the figure. He would like this to end without too much of a scuffle but he was sure there would be some kind of resistance.

[Posting after 72 hours of no reply, skipping]

So, Keita traveled under the ground, and it seemed that the thief was standing still, seemingly tensed up and ready to react to whatever happened as they got closer to them, which worked well for Keita as he was rapidly approaching the figure from under the ground, which would make it way easier to capture them should the need arise. Keita quickly came to the spot directly under the thief, and waited for a small amount of time. He was calculating how he would capture the theif, and was simply running through some situations in his head rapidly, when Kizmaru made his way into the alleyway that the thief was in. It seemed like the thief wanted to head to the warehouse, but was intercepted by Kizmaru, especially when he made his presence known by yelling at the person to come quietly for questioning. Keita did not quite hear this, however, as he was underground at thee time, and the sound was greatly muffled, and Kizmaru did not use his earpiece to communicate what he was saying. This allowed Keita to realize that he was talking directly to the thief at the moment, and Keita made sure to get ready for anything. He knew that Kizmaru had recently trained his Fire jutsu, so he was thinking that if the thief did anything, Kizmaru would unleash a torrent of fire in the area, so Keita quickly readied himself so that he could instantly activate the chakra barrier seal on his body with a thought. This would undoubtedly shield him from the fire jutsu that Kizmaru used, and would also protect him from whatever the thief used as well, when Keita eventually showed himself, if he needed to. 

The alley that they had stopped the thief in was fairly narrow, and so Keita had a great idea that would allow him to hopefully prevent the thief from escaping if he did it properly, so when he had noticed Kizmaru say something to the thief, and the thief knew that he was there, the thief would have no idea that Keita was there, so he silently moved a bit behind him so that he could block off a portion of the alleyway. There was only two ways that the thief could go down the alleyway, east or west, and Kizmaru was coming from the east, so the thief would naturally want to run to the west. So suddenly and without warning, Keita jutted up out of the ground with just his upper half, and suddenly seven heavenly white chains made from pure chakra sprouted from his back, and quickly made a half circle shape. This half circle shape was blocking off the west side of the alleyway, as well as curving above to make a sort of canopy of chains, preventing the thief from going straight up as well. There was still a gap between the chains, although this gap was small enough for a person to squeeze through if they turned their body sideways, Keita would easily be able to see it and move the chains with his thought and block it off, wrapping the chain around the thief and capturing them for interrogation later. He was also not worried in the slightest about Kizmaru sending a fire jutsu his way, and was ready for it. The thief would be forced to run directly towards Kizmaru if he wanted a chance to escape, and that was what Keita wanted anyways. It seemed like a great plan, considering the thief would have no idea he was there, and exiting the ground with just his upper half would make little to no noise, and he hoped that the thief did not have some kind of enhanced senses to hear him until the chains were already out, because those made an obvious rattling noise when they extended.

Kizmaru assumed the female was resisting arrest or frightened in their tracks since no response was given to his initial demands. He figured he would just go on the offensive, expecting Keita to back him in case things started to go south. It's not as if they had a tried and true, rehearsed plan but the general consensus was Kizmaru would be the lead attacker while Keita was the support. With that, it seems Keita would begin his offensive. From what Kizmaru can tell, his partner had revealed the upper portion of his body in order to launch his chakra chain technique, sealing off one end of the alleyway and launching the rest of his chains forward at the woman. He must have a soft spot for this woman if he was attempting the non-lethal route but Kizmaru didn’t have any such sympathy at the moment. He planned to take the suspect out swiftly and justly if he could help it. Kizmaru knew his partner was durable but he had hoped he'd be able to shield himself from the incoming blow of the next attack he would produce. In rapid succession, Kizmaru would begin to perform the hand signs of Tiger, Bird, Ox, and Monkey with only his left hand.

 Flames began to erupt from underneath the ground seven meters away from Kizmaru’s initial location, in between the woman and himself, transforming into a bright, red, orange and yellow colored pheasant that began its flight towards the woman in question. He wasn’t sure how the woman would respond to this sudden attack but he knew it had to be done. Kizmaru didn’t feel like wasting time and wanted to get this show on the road. The woman had two choices as far as Kizmaru saw it, submit to the chain or submit to the flame, the choice was all hers. One thing for sure is, they weren’t getting out of this one unscathed. The next thing Kizmaru did was perform a single seal of Tiger, just in case their initial strategy failed.

Mai was busted and could not think of what to do, if she had made it inside she could have trapped them, but at this instance it was a bit useless. The man Thirty meters away had called out to her and she froze doing nothing. and little did she know about the man now below her. But before the man in the ground could raise up out of the ground and his presence given away by the chains. Mai formed her body flicker technique with a speed of one hundred. Now since Kizmaru's attack was seemingly contiengent on seeing the backside of the ally being blocked off by Keita. the attack would not yet be forming and Mai had flickered to the spot right in front of Kizmaru, being only a meter away from him and her mouth was already open before she flickered. The moment she came out of the flicker purple mist began to flow out of her mouth, filling the small area with a poison that would likely kill Kizmaru. However just as the mist came out She would form four hand seals at her maximum speed and then reached out towards the man Kizmaru. who of which would then be caught in her paralysis seal should her hands make contact.

If the chain man continued his actions the gap between them would be much larger and give Mai her oppertunity to wait till the chains reached a meter away from her at which point she would use the body of Kizmaru who would be in her hands as a shield, flipping up and over his back. That would be the point she would let go of the body of the now dead mizukage and take off around the corner that he had come in from.

However if there were to be a change in actions she would of course be ready to react accordingly if possible. Including if Kizmaru could get out of this simple manuver. Since the speed of the poison , which was directed right at him, was at a speed of forty, and shout out in a five meter cone. before filling the location within a ten meter radius at the same speed. (power of 40)

Keita noticed, that as soon as he came up from the ground, there seemed to be a visual shift in what the thief was doing, as they immediately seemed to body flicker towards Kizmaru. Keita was already forming his chains out, so with a thought, he changed where they were going to be, by shooting them forward with great speed in a semi circle shape. This made a make shift tunnel made of chains that swept passed Kizmaru and the thief, as the thief was already preparing to do something when they got really close to Kizmaru. The chains carried on and stuck themselves lightly into the wall of the building on the opposite side of the alleyway, essentially trapping both Kizmaru and the thief in a fairly narrow tunnel like area. Although, Keita would easily move the chains out of Kizmaru's way if he decided to try and leave the area, but would become rigid and snake like in their appearance, wrapping tightly around the thief before they had a chance to slip through. Still, this way, no matter what the thief did, they would be trapped in the chain tunnel with Kizmaru, and Keita could slowly close the tunnel inward until the thief was trapped regardless. Still, just in case, at the same time the chains were flying towards the wall on the other side, Keita quickly formed four hand seals and slapped his right hand onto his left forearm, adding a seal onto it. By this time, the actions on that side would have already happened, and KEita would be preparing the seal on his forearm for whatever happened next. Keita was going to watch, and whatever jutsu the thief would perform in an attempt to escape from Kizmaru would be thwarted, absorbed into the Absorption Seal he had just placed on his body. He was well within range, so as soon as the thief tried something funny, the jutsu that they attempted to do would instantly stop and go away, allowing Keita to use that moment to capture them. 

Other than that, Keita wondered how that would go, he wondered what sort of plant he thief had at this point, as it seemed pretty risky to suddenly jump towards your attacker, especially because the thief had no idea what sort of tricks he had up his sleeve, and why would you assume you could take someone on in close combat when they specifically called out to you. They obviously wanted a close range showdown with you after following you into the alley way, but then again, Keita was sure that if you went to a life of crime, you were not very smart to begin with.

It seems Kizmaru's joint attack was cut short before it could be enacted as he would have like it to be. The female had noticed they were collaborating and decided she would cast the hand sign of Ram in order to flicker. Recognizing the hand sign she produced, Kizmaru consumed one of the invisible seals on his body, activating it which would begin to absorb the nearest foreign chakra from the surrounding area. He wasn't sure what the female would do after she finished her body flicker movement but one thing was for sure he wasn't gonna wait to find out. As he activated the seal, Kizmaru amassed power through taking a posture where the back of the body falls down. As he did this, his female opponent had appeared in front of him to begin opening her mouth, just as he lifts leg in order to kick her square in the chin breaking her chin and slamming her mouth shut also cracking her teeth, incapacitating her and launching her body ten meters into the air while she was unconscious. Placing his foot down after the kick, Kizmaru watched as the girl's body had fallen from the air with a hard crash. Well, that takes care of that problem, fairly simple as Kizmaru would like to put it. "Alright, wrap her in your chains and let's get this over with Keita. I'm hungry, this was a waste of time. Next time, let the chuunins handle this." He shouted to Keita, if his attack was successful in incapacitating the girl. He placed his hands into his pockets and began to turn away from the alley to leave the area, wanting to get back to his abode to be with his loving wife. He only had enough precise free time in order to enjoy the things he likes. For now, he'd just walk away, into the direction of his abode.
