Task:
The regular Academy teacher had to leave for an emergency and you were called upon to act as substitute teacher. The classroom contains at least 20 students whom you will have to teach and assign homework to. No harm is to come to the children while they are in your care.
Kouma was currently running towards the academy that he had not been to in around four years in a hurry, because he was suddenly called in, as the teacher that taught his class those years ago suddenly had some sort of emergency last minute, and Kouma was the one that was seemingly randomly selected to come in and teach. They told him to get there within a half hour, but Kouma being the young man he was, was determined to get there as fast as possible, as he did not wan the students to act up or cause any trouble while he was not there, although that teacher's class was always one that was well behaved, that was only with the teacher around, and kids would be rowdy anywhere where they were left without supervision. Kouma was making his way through the streets when he saw a random chuunin of the village, complete in the vest and everything, simply wandering around, doing his own thing, and Kouma felt that this was the perfect chance for him to ask some quick questions about what he should do when he taught the class. The class was only a few hours long, but that would be incredibly long and boring for kids that usually went through the classes, as the teachers in the academy were constantly showing them new things. There was going to be an outline of the class, but Kouma had not seen it yet, so he did not have a frame of reference, and so he pulled the chuunin aside to ask him if he could get some advice. The chuunin agreed very rapidly, as he could see that Kouma was out of breath, and asking him what he needed, he laughed when he saw that Kouma was so out of breath and worked up over an academy class. He told Kouma to calm down and think about it, as the classes had substitutions all the time, and he should have even went through a few, but the substitutions he usually had were with people that looked like they were closer to chuunin and more experienced. Kouma explained that he took a break to take care of his disabled mother, and that he was basically fresh out of the academy himself, which showed why he was so nervous,.
The chuunin told him that most of the students would most likely behave, and if they did not do that simple task, so simply show them that they were beneath him in some way. Kouma had already passed the academy test and was a fully fledged ninja backed by the village, and thus had the rank and prestige that came with that, which was still miles above what any academy student had to offer. If they could not follow simple instructions from their superiors, they could simply not be ninja, and the chuunin gave Kouma advise to that effect, to simply scare them with his superior rank. He also gave a bit of advice to just share his thoughts on whatever they were learning, as because he was fresh out of the academy, or at least close in that regard, he should be able to have that knowledge fresh in his memory, which he did, and that would be a great help to the academy students. Kouma thanked the chuunin profusely for taking time out of his busy day to give him some advice, and the chuunin sent him away, but chuckled to himself, thinking that he was bored and wandering, what about a busy day did he think he was having. Kouma made it to the class room about ten minutes earlier than the time limit allowed, and immediately went to the podium and introduced himself as a genin of the village and the temporary teacher here, just for today. Most of the students simply nodded, but a couple had looks and made some noises as if to verbally voice their disagreement to him being their teacher. Kouma immediately confronted them, telling them that he was a fully fledged member of the village, unlike them, and that he demanded respect for today, as if they could not follow such simple instructions which was simply to act like their teacher was here for a few hours, he would give a bad review of them to the teacher, which might make them lose credits in the class and it would effect their over all grade here. after that, it seemed like the students were a bit more obedient, although they still looked like they did not respect Kouma, but that did not matter to him as long as they behaved and he could get through a couple of hours of giving his insights about what they were learning in peace.
He looked at the piece of paper that was left on the desk for him after the teacher had left because of the sudden news, and it said that they were in the middle of the contents of the surface walking technique. The students were not going to practice the technique today, simply learn about it, and this was the less advanced version that was just about sticking to walls and the ceiling if applicable, as they would not even learn about the water walking technique until later in their academy lives. Kouma started to talk about how he learned the surface walking technique, and gave some advice, as he had gone through that a couple of years ago, and he failed a lot. The students liked him a bit more knowing that he did not get it on his first try, and that he was not here to boast, so they listened more, with some of them even writing down what he was saying. After a few hours of talking, it was time for Kouma to go, and although none of the students seemed to cling to him or hold any special feelings towards him, they liked him for his honesty, and he had stood up for himself, which gave him a sense of personal pride, as these kids were not much younger than himself, and soon he would see them in the genin uniform walking around, so he wanted to make sure that he was remembered in a non negative light.
