Returning Home

Cole had been noticing that his sanity had been slipping for a while. Slowly becoming more animalistic as the days went by. This is why he had returned to the village after all. He needed help and he knew it if things kept going the way he was he would really become a monster. He needed that balance that the village would give him, as well as connections to people to help keep him grounded. He had not sat down and had a conversation with someone that he didn’t end up killing in months. If he didn't get help soon he would end up as one of the monsters that he hunted and killed to protect the good people of the world, and the last thing he wanted to do was become one of the things they needed protection from. This is what was running through his mind as he walked up to the gates of Hoshi. Having no family left he had nowhere else to turn. Sure he could try his hand at another village, but for all he knew they would just part him out after he surrendered to them. At least here he knew that he had a chance. He hoped that at least one person had stayed that he knew in the past that would vouch for him. He hadn’t wanted to leave the village in the first place, but he thought he was following orders from his kage. Only to find out it was all lies forcing him to leave the group not wanting to be a part of something like that. At least not then no he would probably go just so he could get the feel of blood on his hands and bones again god he loved that feeling. Slapping himself in the face to break that line of thought he looked up from his jail cell.
He had been sitting on the bench of an empty cell after walking up to the gate and telling the guard who he was. He allowed the man to disarm him and lead him into the cell to wait to be seen. His clothes was shuffled and ruff looking having lost the ability to care about it long ago now. His silver hair laid mid way down his back and he just looked down at his hands. A few of the other people in different cells tried to get him riled up by saying stupid stuff that they thought would get him going. If only they only knew how easy it would be to kill them he thought to himself as he stood up and looked at the ringleader in the eyes. Flexing his right arm muscle as a bone pushed its way through his forearm Cole gave the man a look that would kill if there were not 6 feet and 2 sets of bars between them. The man didn’t say anything else after that and Cole sat back down staring at his hands trying to stay calm while he waited.
