Returning Home

Stepping outside from the building where the Summit had taken place the leader of Hoshigakure would stand by while he awaited his ANBU Commander to return to his side from where he had gone off to. Or at least show some sign of where his presence might be. Valen himself wanted nothing more to return home, replace his arm. Or simply have Kenshin regenerate the original like he had done the same for his legs after the Yonbi’s attack. Of course, he also knew that he needed to be safely home before he could allow the events of what transpired inside to truly affect him. Preferably, in trusted company, such as Kenshin or Hikari. He had a fair bit of work to do laying before him, including and not limited to trying to figure out how to keep their village from going to war. He had let his inexperience as a kage show. He knew that his bodyguard would be dead either way at this moment. Whether he was the one to deal the blow or not. However, he would not have his student struck down by some man who wouldn’t remember him. Not if Valen himself could help it. He wondered if Kenshin or Hikari would understand that. 

Should Kenshin come before him he would speak clearly “Place a hand on my shoulder. I’ll take us home.” He would say simply, and should his ANBU do as such, he would teleport them away back to Hoshigakure. 

[Potential Exit]

It wouldn't take long for Kenshin to reach the damaged form of his Kage. He would do as the ashen haired teen suggested and place his hand upon balrn's shoulder with nary a word said. His mind was currently racing, and it was taking every ounce of his self control to resist killing the fool that his hand rested upon. 

But now was not the time for that... now it was time for damage control.
