First meeting of the Valkyries
Mon May 24, 2021 12:05 am
It was the day after he had received the money and the bodies from his friend and rival, Stein. He had been letting his Valkyries roam the village for the day, and he knew that they were certainly getting around because he was hearing all of the stories about "weird purple eyed people". He had been roaming about the village and he just couldn't help but to chuckle when he heard the stories of women roaming about the village, oddly staring at people and watching how they interacted with each other. But he did hear of some that got into some fights, so he wanted to make sure that he checked in on them to make sure they weren't hurt.
When he got into the wildlife reserve, he made sure that he got into a deep part of the reserve to make sure that he wasn't being followed. He was happy for them to roam about the village, but he didn't want everyone in the village to know that they were under his control, at least not yet. He began to sprint full speed so he wouldn't have been able to be followed by a normal citizen, then he decided to leap up into the trees, that way he wouldn't have any tracks to be followed either.
He was deep into the woods and he finally dropped down in a clearing, and this clearing was beautiful. It was beautiful enough that it reminded him of the place that he had created a home in Fang country. The clearing was surrounded by a river that flowed in almost a complete circle. There was a waterfall in the distant side of the clearing, and lining the sides of the river were giant trees. There were some even larger than the trees that he would be able to make with his Nativity jutsu. He thought for a moment, he thought about how nice it would be to create a place for him to hang his hat, and for his new Valkyries to meet without having to worry about others finding them.
He thought for another few minutes about just what it was that he would be able to make with his abilities. He thought about the perfect hideout, a hideout that wouldn't be detectable with someone's normal eyes, and even those with chakra vision wouldn't be able to see anything different, as the entire reserve was made out of chakra, so he wouldn't even have to worry about chakra vision. He knew that if he had someone with the Byakugan was looking for him, then they would find him in the hideout, but he would have to be looking for him in the first place. He wasn't in the place to start making enemies, especially not with those that have obtained the power of the Byakugan in the first place.
He stood in the center of the clearing, which was about 50 meters in diameter, and he placed his hands on the ground beneath him after forming five hand seals. Once the seals were formed, he slammed his hands against the ground and abruptly trees of all kinds of diameters in thickness, he wanted to make sure the hideout blended in perfectly with the rest of the forest, so if someone truly did walk into the hideout area, then they would have no idea what it was that they had just walked in to, they would just assume that they were just inside another piece of the forest.
He created a rather large trees just off center of the clearing, the roots of which rose up to meet him. He had used the roots of the giant trees to clear out a massive clearing underneath the ground. He figured that he wasn't going to be able to truly hide out in the middle of the forest with a giant cabin, but this time he was going to instead create a home for himself within the Earth, concealed from all matters of problems. He formed the snake hand seal and he was able to manipulate the roots of the giant tree, opening them enough for him to walk through.
As he looked at the lodgings that he had created, he was pleased with the outcome of his work. There was many different rooms, but there was one grand room which he would hold his meetings of the Valkyries. Slowly he walked through the hall, feeling each of the chairs that lined the sides of the great table that he had created. There was carvings in a language he had only seen in his dreams, a language that was beautiful in its simplicity. The engravings lined the entire edge of the table and was on all of the chairs. He didn't even remember thinking about the engravings, but it was obviously somewhere in his subconscious.
When he sat at the large table at the head of the table, he internalized his thoughts. He left the door wide open for his Valkyries to join him, and that was exactly what he began to think internally. He called each of his Valkyries individually, calling them to the meeting point, giving them his location via their complete link that they all shared. He figured that it would take them a few minutes to reach his position, as he was very deep in wildlife reserve, and he told them to take their time and not to rush. He wanted to make sure that they didn't draw too much attention.
Each of his Valkyries acknowledged his call and told them that they would be at the meeting point as soon as possible. He leaned back in the chair that he had created, and he looked in pleasure at the work that he had completed. As he leaned back in his chair, he thought for a few minutes about just what it was that he was even going to say to his newfound comrades. Even if they were under his control, they were certainly his comrades. They were going to be of huge benefit to him in battle, and he couldn't wait to see just what it was that they would do in battle.
Suddenly the first Valkyrie walked through the door under the tree, and made her way down the steps into the meeting room. "Hildr, glad to see you." Taichi said as the blazen haired woman walked through the entryway. She had picked up some new clothes within the village, whether she bought them or stole them was a complete mystery to him. She had picked up some battle gear from the ninja shop within the village. She definitely seemed to be taking her job to blend in with the rest of the village as she looked just like any other shinobi from within the village. She wore black pants with pockets and weapon pouches tied to the legs, she had a white shirt on with a green combat vest over the top of that. She had kunai knives and shuriken already in place, and Taichi was very pleased to see her taking on her new role as Hildr so seriously.
When she entered and heard Taichi say that he was glad to see her, she smiled, mostly naturally and responded in a calm and soothing tone. "I am glad to see you too, master Taichi." She then bowed before taking her seat at the side of the large table. Taichi smiled and motioned for her to sit so they could speak a little about her progress in blending in with the rest of the village, and trying to become a natural person, one with a personality and the like, but just as they had began to speak, the next Valkyrie began to walk through the entrance and greet them both.
The woman that walked through the opening in the roots wore something similar to Hildr, but this woman had her long blonde hair swinging low and only tied at the very top of her hair, closest to her skull. When she walked down the steps, Taichi had noticed that her shirt was light brown, similar to her own eyes and her pants were black as well. She spared no time and greeted them both right away with a happy, cheerful tone. "Hello Hildr, master Taichi. I am pleased to see you both again." Her tone was mostly natural, although sounding somewhat forced, but he would accept it gladly.
Taichi waved to the Valkyrie Sigrun and responded to her, "I am pleased to see the both of you working on your interactions so hard, it is already starting to show through." Taichi then motioned for Sigrun to sit at the table, which she happily obliged, commenting on how beautiful the craftsmanship was. The young Uchiha couldn't help but to chuckle slightly at the comment, but he thanked her none the less. He was already seeing progress with just the first two Valkyries, he was excited to see what he could expect from the rest.
The three began to speak on their dealings within the village, and after having a few laughs, the next Valkyrie began walking down the steps, but this one was not alone. Both Gunnr and Olrun walked down the steps together in unison. They seemed to be finding company within each other quite strongly as they were both wearing the exact same outfit. They both decided to go with typical Kunoichi wear, both wore red as the main color on their outfit, with white being the trim color along the seams. They both had their hair up in a bun with chopsticks holding them up.
They both entered the room and they bowed to each of the individuals at the table. Taichi then spoke to them, "I appreciate the tradition, but let's reel it back, okay? Just bow once to all the people in the room and then you can rest your poses. Try not to walk in unison, as it just makes things seem a bit odd and off putting to most people." With an accepting nod of their head in unison, and with Taichi chuckling once again, both Gunnr and Olrun sat down.
The group continued to talk for a few minutes, when they heard more footsteps coming into the meeting room. When the footsteps got closer, Taichi was able to see more and more of the woman's figure, and the more concerned he got. The woman was cloaked in a black duster, all leather. The only bit of color other than black, was the red spattering of blood that had gotten all over the lower half of her coat. All of the Valkyries looked in concern, the same with Taichi while they watched Gondul walk into the room. Taichi was the first person to break the silence to ask her just what it was that had happened.
As he stood up, he walked over to Gondul and examined her outfit more closely. "What happened to you? Why are you covered with-" He was cut off by a sharp tone, filled with a seductive influence. She smiled grimly at Taichi as she began to spin her tale. He had heard that there was a conflict with one of his Valkyries, and now he knew just which one the stories were about. She spoke of a drunkard who began to hit on her at the tavern, the man started becoming more and more aggressive until she finally decided that it wasn't worth her time to deal with his ignorance.
She began to leave the tavern, and was followed by that same drunkard. He followed until they passed by an alley, in which he tried to take advantage of her. She panicked for all but a moment, until her instincts kicked in. She jammed her knee into his crotch and her fist into his throat. In on fluid motion she brought her other hand up into the man's nose, causing it to spray blood all over her coat. She left the man passed out cold in the alleyway, bleeding all over the ground below her.
Her eyes widened in excitement when she spoke on just how marvelous it felt to cause the man that level of excruciating pain. Her eyes narrowed for a moment, feeling euphoria at just the thought of it. Taichi placed his hand on her shoulder and he spoke of pride in the woman, using her as an example for the rest of the Valkyries. When he was done speaking in pride about Gondul, he asked her to take a seat at the table so they could begin the very first meeting of the Valkyries.
