The Ragdoll Enters The Fray III

Gisei Uchiha:

Uchiha, Gisei moved with a confident swagger towards the southern gate of the bloodwork arena, the gate separated the fighter pit from the arena floor. Gisei was a tall, middle-aged man, with sharp features and short black hair that parted down the middle. He wore a black three-piece suit with white pinstripe, and black dress shoes. The man picked out a cigarette case from his blazer inside his breast pocket and moved a hand-rolled cigarette into his mouth. Bringing a lighter from his trouser pocket he lit the fine tobacco stick and took in a deep breath. The gridiron gate in front of him began to rise as he stepped out of the southern entrance to the arena, the collected puff of smoke then exiting his lounges.

An audible tsk could be heard from the man's mouth as he looked down at his shoes, the dust and sand already marking the lower third of them. Kenshin, holder of the master rank in Sungakure stood 45m away from Gisei, he had taken the dead center of the arena. Most likely unbeknownst to Kenshin, he had been targetted by a shady group within Suna, one who was looking for a change in regime. The instrument of their will was Uchiha, Gisei. They had strategically placed him within the bloodwork in case Kenshin had the mind for some cultural violence, as he had been known to partake in the past. Gisei was an agent who specialized in taking out other ninja and had been briefed on Kenshin. The brief had described how dangerous Kenshin was, perhaps even underestimated him. On top of this Gisei was a proud and arrogant man, so he believed the information was false on Kenshin, and that he was a lesser man than even they had indicated.

Gisei placed the lighter back in his pocket as he took another deep puff of the tobacco stick. As he exhaled again his eyes flashed a deep red, the Sharingan activating. Gisei moved forward another 10m until he was 35m from Kenshin and his voice rose to a loud shout "Kenshin, I wish to measure your vessel, please try to stay alive long enough for me to do so". Gisei mouth held the cigarette as his hands lowered to his side, pulling in another toke from the cigarette.

A few seconds passed, and no sound could be heard from his opponent. Was her ignoring him? this thought annoyed Gisei more than anything else. This man who he deemed so unworthy of his title and standing thought himself so far above him that he did not even need to answer. Gisei's jaw clenched and he accidentally bit the cigarette into two, the filter and then the other half having the lit tobacco. Gisei anger had surfaced and that annoyed him further that he let this man affect him. Spitting the end of the cigarette out, his hand moved towards his tie so that he could fix it in position, a tick Gisei had when he was out of sorts. Gisei started to stride forward, he would continue to move until he was within 25m unless his opponent made a move.

As he walked Gisei would start to form handseals at his max speed. Gisei brought his hands together paralleled and outstretched all of the fingers on both hands, he then allowed them to fold over the gaps in the fingers of the opposing hand and let the fingers be placed over the opposing knuckles, the thumbs stayed placed together. With that the snake handseal was complete. Gisei moved on folding his pinky and ring finger of his right hand while extending the thumb, middle, and index finger up to the sky. Then allowed his left hand to sit just above that of the right hand and all of the fingers were extended up to the sky, he folded over his ring and pinky finger to sit upon the knuckles of the opposing hand. The thumb, index, and middle fingers were slightly above those of the opposing hand, and with that the ram handseal was complete. Gisei took his left hand and faced the palm up to the sky and flipped his right hand so the palm was facing the floor and allowed the hands to match each other, forming the monkey handseal. Finally, Gisei brought both hands together paralleled, his thumbs and his palms facing each other. Extending his fore and middle fingers upwards on both hands, once again paralleled. Gisei folded his index and pinky fingers over and through the gaps of the opposing fingers so that they were clasped across the opposing hand, with that the tiger handseal was complete.

"You will learn your place doll, puppet of the current regime" Gisei spit the words out with anger and contempt for the man in front of him. Gisei then exhaled as a thin stream of fire 6 inches wide formed and then expanding into a large 10m diameter fireball at jutsu speed. The fireball would continue in a straight line towards the Ragdoll, if it were to reach a range of 30m it would fizzle out and become harmless.

Gisei had finished exhaling the fire jutsu and it had swelled to 90% of its size when Kenshins Bansho Ten'in had begun to pull him forward. Initially, Gisei did not understand the feeling of weightlessness he felt. Before he could react his whole body was engulfed in his own fireball. His suit mostly burning away, the leftover scraps turned to crisp black thread, his suit had withered away to around 30% of its original mass. After the flames had destroyed his suit they moved on to his skin, second degree burns started to form all over his body, accompanied by blisters and a dark brown color. Due to the range at which Gisei had been pulled he was within the fireball and then it moved past him, as the fireball continued on its path towards Kenshin. 

Gisei pushed himself to his knees and then up to his feet. By the time he had straightened up the fireball would have reached its maximum range along the straight path it was fired, whether Kenshin still be there or not. Gisei's clothes were tattered but his collar and tie still remained, at least until halfway down the tie's length. Gisei's burned skin was painful all over, the dirt seeping into the exposed skin wounds. Gisei subconsciously straightened his tie, even though his tattered appearance would not be improved by the fixation. Gisei had no idea what he had just been hit with, other than his own fireball. He was well versed in his trained element Wind, but he knew nothing that could do something like that and at that speed. Gisei pushed the thought from his mind,m It must have been a lucky shot. Gisei formed more handseals at max speed, Monkey -> Ox -> Snake -> Ram -> Tiger -> Dog -> Boar. As he finished the final handseal he activated the damage reduction shield medical technique.

Gisei had lost his cool, normally if he had time he would perform handseals with a jutsu to hide his mastery of fire. However, this thought and tactic were far from his mind and he brought his hand up to his mouth and started to breathe out another 6 inch stream. This stream would head toward Kenshin at jutsu speed, if he were to move Gisei would try to follow him with the stream.

As the stream of fire reached 1m from the stationary Kenshin its chakra began to be absorbed. Gisei did not know what technique was being used but he formed the seal of confrontation anyway and attempted to explode the stream that was left. However, it seemed to break apart at a cellular level and had nothing to explode. Gisei face turned to anger again, his most powerful technique had still not been able to make Kenshin take a step back.

Every inch of Gisei's body ache and any micromovement he made caused searing pain on the exposed skin. Closing his eyes Gisei took a quick deep breath, funneling his concentration and focusing entirely on his Sharingan. As his eyes opened the red of his Sharingan shone a brighter red, power flowed through his body as he did so. 

At full speed, Gisei then began to form handseals again at full speed. Firstly Gisei brought his hands together with the pinky, ring and middle fingers bent on both hands. He folded his thumb inward so that its knuckle was pointed up to the sky. The index finger on each hand was outstretched and then he brought the two hands together so that they interceded with each other, the left hand being the bottom of the two and the right hand joining one knuckle above it. Gisei brought both hands together paralleled, his thumbs and his palms facing each other. Extending his fore and middle fingers upwards on both hands, once again paralleled. Next, he folded his index and pinky fingers over and through the gaps of the opposing fingers so that they were clasped across the opposing hand. Gisei then brought his hands together paralleled and outstretched all of the fingers on both hands, he then allowed them to fold over the gaps in the fingers of the opposing hand and let the fingers be placed over the opposing knuckles, the thumbs stayed placed together. Gisei then brought his hands together in a clap, the ninjutsu amplifier activated before he moved onto the handseals for his actual jutsu. Next Gisei started forming the rat handseal he folded the pinky and ring finger of his right hand and allowed the middle and index finger to point to the sky. Gisei curled his left hand around the extended fingers of his right hand, completing the rat handseal. Gisei gripped his left hand inward and folded his fingers underneath his palm and into a fist. Next, he then moved his right hand over the top of it pointing towards the bottom of his wrist and completely flat, including the thumb. Gisei then formed the rat,dog, and tiger handseals again before moving onto the ox handseal. Finally, Gisei allowed his left hand to stretch outward, his fingers spread out like the forks of a rake. Gisei then extended all the fingers of his right hand upward and slide them through the middle sections of the right hand, once they were poking through the top he folded his middle and index fingers downward and folded them over the knuckles of the left hand. 

After the handseals were complete Gisei fired off a 2-foot fireball that had its power and speed enhanced by the ninjutsu amplifier. The fireball flew along the floor and would explode when it came into contact with Kenshin or anything physical, if this was not the case Gisei would explode the fireball with the seal of confrontation when it reached an appropriate place. Gisei could produce no more power than that was in this technique, if Kenshin were to overpower this he would be deflated. He was hoping he could overpower whatever tech that his opponent had used to nullify his previous attack.

A smile crept onto the burnt, charred lips of Gisei as his ultimate technique of firey death was launched, he knew that the man in front of him could not survive. Sure he had surprised him with unknown wind techniques and maybe he had some power, but how could he stand up to one such as Gisei, from the mighty Uchiha and a trained assassin. Gisei smiled did not last more than a few seconds as his 2-foot fireball was skewered by earthen spears after moving only 2.5m. The earthen spears rose to the sky and impaled the fireball, the second that the fireball was penetrated it erupted into a sphere of firey death. The flames rolled out 10m in each direction.

The flames rolled towards Gisei, who fell to his knees as his Sharingan deactivated. The flames impacted on his damage reduction shield, overwhelming it instantly. The power of the jutsu was lessened before it hit Gisei's already burnt skin, but it still did enough damage to burn off the rest of his clothes and sear any skin that was not already burnt. Agonizing, high-pitched screams of pain could be heard as the fire jutsu burnt out before even reaching his opponent. Gisei crumpled down further until he was led on the ground facing his opponent, who had still not taken a step.

Gisei eyes widened as he looked at the smirking man in front of him, he had said something while he was being immolated but Gisei's scream and the sheer pain had drowned it out. Gisei hefted himself up so that he was on his knees again, a small one-note laugh escaped his lips. Quickly his face turned to fear, his wits coming back to him. "No getaway, stay back, don't come any closer" The man would start screaming irrationally, as his opponent had made no movement in this fight. Gisei pushed himself backward and started shuffling along the floor as he waved an arm in front of him. The man had started to panic. Gisei began to form handseal with one of his hands as he used the other one to shuffle himself backwards, Hare, Ram, Snake. The man made these seals and then slammed his hand onto the floor. The earth in front of him in a 30x30m square began to shift and rise out of the ground, the pillar would then travel at jutsu speed into the air. IF the pillar was able to rise to its height it would reach 80m tall.

The earthen tower was an attempt to create distance between Gisei and his opponent, he had used all the power he had to create it and thought nothing about the location he was in. Gisei then rose to his feet with painful grunts at every movement. Turning he started to slowly limp run towards the southern gate he had entered in, the whole time even wailing in pain or shouting at some unknown party. "THIS ISN'T WHAT YOU PROMISED ME, HES NOT A FRAUD, LET ME OUT OF HERE" The man would scream repeatedly as he reached the southern gate and began to bang ferociously on it with all his hysterical strength. Tears were now introduced into the mix as he cried and screamed at the top of his lungs. The burnt sections of his skin causing him additional pain as they were hammered against the door.
