Shin would resist the urge to groan as the old bat he was travelling with continued to do her best to make his ears bleed with her incessant prattling. Good god, if it wasn’t for the fact that she was paying him to escort her to a town that was on the way to Sunagakure he would have likely killed her already just to save his ears the pain they were currently going through. Heh, it was too perfect of an opportunity, all he needed to do was nod whenever she looked at him expectantly and bam, his ears were saved AND he had a happy client, best of both worlds really. Before he knew it they had reached their destination, and Shin was thanked profusely by the elderly woman, who was quickly accosted and dragged off by a group that he could only assume was the wedding party. Oh well, it allowed him to pull his earbuds out, and without any preamble he would make his way towards the general store to resupply.
