A simple escort (D rank solo mission)

mission specs:

After meeting up with the old man he was supposed to be escorting to the sand village, Jason went to gather the supplies he would need for the journey. Because of how old the man was the trip would last roughly three days due to him having to stop and rest so frequently. This meant Jason had to make sure they had enough food and water to last them the trip. Once all the supplies were gathered and packed, he went to the ramen shop and ate a big lunch. He had told the old man to meet him at the village gate at one this afternoon so he had plenty of time to enjoy his meal.
*one o clock at the village gate*
"Ok Mr. Ryoka, are you ready to head out now?" Jason asked the old man. He looked to be about ninety years old. He was a short, frail looking man with white hair, a few missing teeth and scraggly beard. " 'Course I'm ready youngster. Here, take these bags for me and help an old man out will ya? As soon as you do that we can get going sonny." Jason did as he was told and grabbed the old man's bags for him. They set out to Sunagakure immediately. The pace was slow but steady. The old man may have had to take frequent breaks but Jason thought he was good company. Jason found out that he was going to Suna to visit some family members. See, he was originally from Sunagakure but moved to Konoha years ago at the behest of his cousin. He told stories about his shinobi days and reminisced about his youth. Jason was more than happy to listen to the old man. After all, Jason loved helping people and the man's stories helped to pass the time.
*the morning of the third day*
The first two days went by fairly quickly and they had made good time. If they kept up this pace they would make it to Suna by the end of the day today. They had just finished their third break of the day when Jason saw the Sand village. Their trip was almost over. It was a good thing too because they had run out of water this morning and the desert was hot and dangerous. "Hey old man we-"
Jason paused mid sentence as he saw the old man passed out on the ground behind him. He mustve passed out from heat exhaustion. "Shit. I can't believe I let the old man faint." Jason ran back and dropped to his knees besides the old man, putting his hand on the on his forehead to check for fever. He was burning up. He had to get him to the village quick so he can get treated. Jason picked up the old man and put him on his back. He would carry him the rest of the way to the village. It wasn't too far now. It was another hour before they reached the gates. When they were close enough Jason yelled out to the guards at the gate "Hey! My name is Jason Senju,a Genin from Konoha. I'm on a mission to escort this old man to Suna but he passed out from heat exhaustion. He needs to see a doctor immediately." They came out to meet him and confirm his story. When they saw that Jason was telling the truth, they took the old man to the hospital and thanked Jason for escorting him here. Jason resupplied in the village then immediately headed back to Konoha. He wanted to stay and check on the old man but he had to get back to his own village right away. Looking back at Suna, Jason said "I'll send a letter to make sure you're ok old man." and headed back across the desert and to Konoha.
