Seeing as each of the three would ready themselves, they could finally begin the first part of the lesson. One which would hone in on their prowess in combat. The two orbs located within the sensei’s skull, would flutter to a close with their fleshy eyelids. And quietly, the knees of the 18 year old would slightly give way and bend a tiny bit, assuming a lower stance than what he had been currently in. A right leg with it’s foot pointed would slowly trace a 3/4 circular motion around himself within the grass, starting from immediately in front, going clockwise until it was almost as if he was about to bow. Both arms would follow suit with their slight downward motion towards the ground, the billowing sleeves on the red ronin robes almost stretching beyond the tips of his hands. One would reach inside one ninja pouch, and the other a separate one.

”Very well then…you now face. The Sage of Raijin!”

Hiroki’s eyes would snap open with a blink, the left had now turned red. Two additional pupil like shapes now were seen within it as well. What the teacher didn’t tell his students was his new addition, the Sharingan. Gained from the man he considered to be his own sensei of sorts. So, just as Lord Noboru once helped to kickstart his journey of becoming a successful shinobi for Kumogakure, Roki would do the same; allowing for them to make the first move.

None of them would however. So it essentially forced Hiroki’s hand to make the first strike. Or, forced him to call this off immediately rather. None of the trio standing before him made the right move. The window period for the time that they could start had been up, so with that in mind, Hiroki’s sharingan would revert back to normal. His stance shifted upright with the right palm now extending outward, all fingers splayed out gesturing to the lot to stop.

”You all made an easy mistake on the battlefield. Rule number 1, always try to attack first in combat. I gave you all ample time to try to hit me, but you all failed to do so. Normally, this would be exploited by you getting hit. However, today, the punishment is this: you all have homework before we meet next. This is to be done alone. You will receive a letter on what you’ll be expected to do. With that, this first team meeting is unfortunately dismissed.” The tone throughout the time in which he monologued echoed his disappointment in the three, but, hopefully with their homework, they’d be able to learn from this experience.

Goro laughed, and he laughed hard. It turns out that Goro knew something his sensei didn't. Goro for one wasn't stupid, far from it. He knew that in a regular battle, it would have been wise to make the first move, however, he understood how the Sharingan works, the Uchiha being the clan sent to snuff out the Chinoike after all. Goro of course went in with a plan to stop his sensei dead in his tracks, and the best offense is a good defense. He understands that someone is most vulnerable when they are attacking, and he knows the perfect way to take advantage of it. Though, it seems he's not too keen on revealing it yet, saving the surprise for another day. "Alright, Jiji, we can call it quits for today! I hope the homework is a little more exciting! Goro says with a smug look and a smirk on his face. He then skips out of the training facility with a spirit that not a thing in the world could stop.

Taking a few steps back as per the instructions he was given, his senses were alert, adrenaline rushing into his blood at the thought of engaging in any form of combat. He bowed, but in his ninja pocket he clutched his kunai to stay prepared.
