A New Journey: Hiko, Howl, and Kat [Village Exit]
Fri Jul 01, 2022 7:52 pm
It was a rather quiet, quaint evening. Twilight had just set in. The hustle and bustle of workers had died down extremely as most would be currently found either in their homes or at the bar. Besides the occasional chitter chatter of two people partaking in a conversation passing by, the only sounds which cut through the cool summer’s air were the sounds of nature. Crickets chirping off in the not so distant rice paddies, owls hooting from on their perches up high in the nooks and crannies provided by branches, even the cries of croaking frogs made up the music of the night. Up within the cloudless sky, were the millions of stars which sparkled and dazzled the fading dark purplish color that it otherwise would be. A crescent moon hang up there as well, peaking with it’s dim illumination down onwards at the earth below. It was the calm before the storm.
This storm was entirely metaphorical, albeit. You see, in order for an organization to be considered an organization, people were needed. Lots of people. Likeminded people. Or at least, somewhat. Not everything had to be agreed upon, but all aiming towards a common goal at the finish line. Could the enemy of my enemy types, to those looking for their place in this sometimes cruel world. Quick to judge, but here they would not find anything of the sorts. All in all, there might not be honor amongst thieves, but a band of rogues can actually get shit done. It’s happened in the past, and the world has grown too…quiet. Like the night. So it was finally time for it to happen again.
At least, this was the thought process of Hiko, the young Tau teen originally from Kumogakure, now on the run from a crime in which he didn’t commit. Not fully. The blade wasn’t in his hand, but nothing was done to stop the fall of the blade down upon them. He’d never forget that Yuki girl who was able to free him all those years ago. And to think that the auburn haired youth was then gonna become complacent, being nothing but an obedient dog to those people. But, they hid his lineage from him. After years, of the village looking down upon the child that he used to be, they didn’t at least tell him why people had done that. So, Hiko had run away with the kunoichi, until he’d eventually end up here within Tanbo.
Now though, it was time to hit the road temporarily once more. Yes, while himself and the other missing nin from the Land of Fire had set up a base of operations here within Rice Country, there was still the aforementioned subject that in order to get an actual smooth set of operations up and running, they’d need more people. Which is why, at least for the youngest of the trio, they’d be embarking on the sojourn. Katsuragi and Howl were expected to meet Hiko at the gates of the village, and it would seem that Hiko would be the first to arrive on the scene. Ready to set out for Konoha, while the other pair would start to set off towards Suna.

Staring through the fields and paddies of seemingly never ending crops for the village of Tanbogakure had started to become a bore. Wanting to get a move on, also with the thought process that their plan was too simply meet back up in Suna anyways, Hiko would decide that he’d waited long enough for the others to come join. Another thing that would be taken note of, was the gate guard, or lack thereof. No one had appeared to be currently manning the village gate, so it wouldn’t hurt to just sneak out. It would save plenty of time and paperwork from possibly getting filed out, and the less of that stuff some place had on the missing ninja, the better. That was as clear as clear could possibly be. So to put it simply, the Tau would simply proceed to walk out of the village, starting the journey.
