   Backstory: His first success with a defensive tech came from his Banishing Shift technique that eliminated attacks that had come to harm him. As a technique based on swords, Ijisu was born of a need to defend himself and those around him. After his retirement, he passed down the jutsu to the later generation of Hoshimura or Ametsuchi.

   What it does: When Ijisu is conjured, the user must first have a shield in their hand or person. Using the Requip plane, the user channels their chakra into the shield and expands it, creating either a 5/10 diameter dome around the user or spawning a 10/20-meter wall of blue pure, 1-meter thick space-time chakra. The wall version can be spawned up to 10 meters from the user but not within 3 meters of another character. Ijisu will block all incoming attacks that it faces, including debilitating effects like stat checks or debuffs, with techniques that do not exceed or equal the health of this technique that will fizzle out of existence. Ijisu and the technique will fizzle out and go on their respective cooldowns for those techniques that equal the barrier's health. Ijisu lasts until the barrier is broken or two/three posts elapse, whichever comes first. During this time, the user cannot move. However, the user can move freely if they brace the shield into the ground. The user can allow techniques to pass through if they are on the opposite side of the wall, but once a person exits the safety of the wall, they cannot re-enter it. To enter the barrier, one must have more strength than the health of this technique, or one will be pushed back.
