Kota was feeling so freaking tired. Who knew so many things could happen at the beach. The archer flexed his star power and acting chops. Beat pirates, rogue ninjas, crabs, and even two sharks. The hunter had a busy time that made the beach feel extra dangerous. It was still a great time and Kota really enjoyed the experience. The issue was what was he gonna do after it was over.
“I don’t care! Your mother is a terrible person. She never even wanted us to get married. You can’t even support me against her! The way this went. Should we even continue forward with this marriage?” Kota was chillin minding his own business when he heard a woman start to yell. The archer had the wise understanding that it was not his problem. He would have ignored it till he heard some of the words the lady was using. Her vocabulary was colorful as she berated the poor guy.
The archer could not put up with it longer. It was killing his vibe and really making him want to take them out. “Hey! Knock it off. Is there a reason for you to be going in this hard on the poor guy.” Kota was not loud but it did not stop the bride from looking like she was going to burst into tears. She looked at him and started the waterworks. Explaining the entire issue about the situation from her perspective.
Kota was not a marriage counselor. He had no stake in what was going on but believed he owed it to her to listen. Solving the problem sooner would return the peace to the beach. It would be a small price to pay for peace. From what he could understand the two were a couple that dated for many years. Recently, he proposed and she said yes. The problem started from there as his mother hated her. Any chance she got she would tear into the fiancee in a bid to get her away. Any time it happened the husband did not see it. From his perspective it just sounded like the wife never liked his mom. The only reason he believed she was acting like this was wedding jitters.
“Dude. You are an asshole. Do you really believe there is smoke without a fire? What reason does your wife have to say all this? Did you even bother to investigate it at all? Before deciding that she was in the wrong.” Kota could see why the poor wife-to-be was pissed. Given the same situation Kota would as well. “As for you.” The archer swiveled his head to the bride. “No man raised by their parents wants to view them as a bad person. You could help out and show him. Never expect anyone to take your word. You expect your husband to trust and believe in you. However, this is clearly not a smart man. Pay attention to what you are marrying into as that says a lot about you. If you truly want to marry him for love. Do it. Just don’t come to regret your choice later.”
After lecturing them for a bit Kota stopped. He came up with plans to help them talk to the mother. By the time he finished repairing the cracks in their relationship. The beach returned to its previous serene state. Kota was even given an invitation to the wedding as a thank you.
