What a strange turn of events, Shin Uchiha had lived in Tanbogakure for his whole life, never having really traveled until there was a sudden disappearance of their leaders, the Kages who were in charge of the daily ongoings of the small village. Shin had taken it upon himself to leave the village months ago to look for any information about the missing kages though he had approached it with the naïve thoughts that all villages would be upfront with his quest and that he would be safe to interact and travel the world without issue. Not because he was some powerful shinobi but because while crime was a thing for Tanbogakure it was mainly bandits and thugs rarely did they get any kind of major player in their village.
 
His first trip to Hoshigakure all that time ago had gone smoothly though without any results to show for his quest of finding out anything about the missing leaders, he had even made it back to Tanbogakure without issue as well only to find out that a new Kage had been put into power by election and they had been attacked kind of by a rogue missing ninja who had dispatched one of their guards, took the body and left as easily as they had shown up. So it was certainly a hectic time for the small village but eventually Shin felt it was time to continue his quest on information gathering and he departed the village this time with the aim of reaching Kumogakure though that ended faster than it had started as Shin had a run in with a Hoshigakure Shinobi, a red-headed Terumi that accused Shin of being a Missing Ninja himself and quickly dispatching him with a single attack knocking him out and then questioning the young man about his village and all sorts of things.
 
Now him and another Tanbogakure shinobi have been transported back to Hoshigakure as some form of training for them, though Shin had his doubts that they had the same freedoms they once had prior, as they had been effectively forcefully employed to this new village. Though it seemed that they would in time come to interact with the Kage of this village too, Shin wasn’t given any specific dates or times just that at some point they would be called to speak to the Kage and see where they were suppose to go from there. Shin hadn’t been lucky enough to meet the Kage of Hoshigakure last time he had been here though that had been his original goal as he figured that, the one person would have the information he desired would be the head of the village.
 
A knock came at the door of the small living space the village had provided for Shin, to which Shin opened and there was a man holding a scroll once Shin grabbed it the man left and shin with a confused look on his face opened the scroll, on its parchment was a summons to meet with the Kage and within the hour as well. So Shin quickly got presentable which was more just putting on a shirt as he typically went with only arm sleeves and his baggy pants but now he was fully clothed and hoped he didn’t come to upset the Kage with his mannerisms as he wasn’t sure how they did thing here in a Major village.

Another knock on the door and a woman clad in silver hair and matching armor stood in front of Shin’s door, this time it looked like this person would be escorting Shin to his summons. Which was a positive for the younger shinobi or maybe it was a bad thing? He wasn’t sure but he would rather think positively than negative when it came to what the future held for him in this village. The woman introduced herself as Natsuki and went over some thing for Shin, like how to interact with the Hogokage, how to address them and some basic tips and tricks so that he would feel less nervous about his interaction. His nervousness must have been quite obvious if it was so easily noticed, though to be honest there was certainly a difference between interacting with his own kage of their small village compared to one from a major village.
 
“Thank you for you help and advice Natsuki. I appreciate it greatly.” Shin offered to Natsuki as they made their way to the summons, Shin watched as she took the lead and was given compliments for her recent promotion to Jounin, which was an impressive feat for any shinobi. It seemed that this woman was the modest sort and Shin kept that in mind for the future, trying to get a feel on the standard interaction with the Shinobi of this village as he had only interactions with a few of them now. Natsuki lead Shin through the Unseen University up some stairs and let the guard there know that the Hogokage was expecting them, with permission to enter the door opened and both Natsuki and Shin entered the building. Shin followed Natsuki’s advice and when spoken too by the Hogokage he gave a bow and spoke, “Thank you for this meeting Lord Hogokage.” He would say as he would take his seat as offered, sitting in the seat with a back straight and his hands on his knees Shin would sit there and listen to what the Hogokage would say and ready himself for any questions that may be asked.
 
It seemed that the Hogokage had heard about his quest to find out information about the prior Kage’s of his own village as that was the first thing they asked about. “Yes sir, I have been looking for any information about our missing leader for a few months now. I had been here prior but hadn’t been able to gain any leads and returned to Tanbogakure. I was actually on my way to Kumogakure to see if anyone there had any information when I encountered Doctor Terumi.” Shin explained to Ayato looking him in the eye without any hesitation or deceit. Shin was nervous but not because he had something to hide from anyone but because he would rather not cause any trouble.

Shin listened intently to Lord Ayato’s words and advice as he spoke on how it wasn’t very smart to wander the world alone looking for the information Shin had been looking for about Tanbogakure’s former kages whereabouts. Shin of course had no comments to give on that bit of advice as he had experienced what happens when you go about things by yourself without the needed power or back up in that regard when coming in contact with Dr. Terumi himself.

Shin found himself nodding to Lord Ayato’s description of Dr. Terumi as being intense in his interactions having to stop himself from touching his torso that had been punctured by the Doctor’s very attack mere moments of coming within sight of the man. He was sure he would have the scars of that altercation for the rest of his life though he had no residual pain or issues due to the Doctor’s very own healing.

The next portion of this conversation was something that Shin wasn’t expecting to hear from the man in front of him, the ability to be trained by their very own Jounin or Chunin of the village and possibly even being taken in as a one of their own after what Shin would assume would be him proving himself in being worthy of that chance. Shin was speechless in that regard but he took a moment before agreeing thinking about his home and his family back in Tanbogakure waiting for him to return though they weren’t apart of the Shinobi forces anymore due to their own personal reasons could he really just up and leave his home and become a Shinobi of another village? It was a decision he wasn’t quite sure he could make at this time especially since the last decision he made without thought got him attacked and brought here.

“I agree with the description the Lord has given about Dr. Terumi, he was quite intense in his actions.” A slight smile found its way onto Shin’s face. “I greatly appreciate the chance to learn and train with the Shinobi’s of Hoshigakure, though I am unsure at this time if I would be able to stay permanently due to wishing to return to my family back in Tanbogakure.” Shin said with some nervousness because he wasn’t use to trying to smartly word his responses to not cause any issues like this, “I can only ask for the Lord to give me some time to think this possibility through a bit more, especially since the last decision I made without much thought had me on the wrong side of Dr. Terumi’s Intensity.” Shin said hoping to bring a bit of a chuckle to those in the room because he wasn’t sure if he would want to stay here forever, but he certainly wasn’t against the idea, Shin just needed time to think it through and he hoped that Lord Ayato wouldn’t hold that against him.

Lord Ayato’s response was relieving for the young Uchiha as he wasn’t sure if his words would be met with aggression or annoyance due to his non-committal to Lord Ayato’s offer, as he had heard horror stories of those in positions of power not taking kindly to rejection of any sorts rational or otherwise.

Shin was glad that he had the time to think about the offer and gave a bow as he had upon entry when he left Lord Ayato’s office alongside Natsuki who gave some further advice and knowledge to Shin explaining that he wouldn’t be losing out on taking part in the offer given and even if he decided not to the training and support that was being given would still be there and to take his time as needed.

There is always a fear of being taken advantage of in this world but Shin was more then glad that his first journey to Hoshigakure had shown that it was the standard and not a fluke in their kindness with this second visit and interaction with their Kage further cementing that image to the young man. Shin would thank Natsuki for her guidance and escort hoping to see her in the future and possibly even as a fellow comrade should that be in the cards for the future. Now it was time to head back to Shin’s humble abode that had been provided to him and truly think about the events of the day and how he got here. Shin would need to put more thought in his direction and what he wanted from the future or how he could help his village with this chance.
