The Sound Tournament: Harune V.S. Mubu [No Kill]

It was a quiet night, almost looking like something out of a fairy tale. Harune glanced around slowly from the concrete bench she sat upon. It was in the early stages of the night, just after ten o’clock, in fact; the star-strewn sky was clear and had a full moon tonight, allowing the dim glow from the celestial body to be cast unhindered onto the area. Said “area” was the arena where she had participated in the talent show before. 

Harune was sitting by her lonesome as she waited for her turn in the tournament. She hummed to a made-up rhythm even though she didn't know where it was going. The sky was dark with clouds that covered it like a blanket. It looked like it was going to rain, but you could tell it wasn't. It was just a cloudy day. The ambered-eyed Shokku stretched her hands above her head, running her hands through her blonde hair. She sported her usual attire. 

It wasn’t long before the match between Ronin and Tatsuya had ended. Taking in every detail the pair of fighters had, she made sure to remember them. For she had to fight the winner in the next…that’s if she wins against this puppet user, Mubu, a man she knows little of besides that he has a way with words. Ever charming and dearing; however, his smooth talks will not help him in this battle against Harune.

Taking to the center stage, she waited for her opponent to appear in front of her. Once Mubu has done that, she would make the seal of confrontation and make her way -25 meters- towards her destination. Positioning herself 50-meters from Muba in a straight line. Once Kaito announced for the match to begin, Harune would take off in a sprint towards the puppet user. As she moved forward, she could feel her chakra begin to enhance throughout her body (+50 Chakra/Vigor). Continuing moving forward, she would form the correct seals and small orb of the sunlight energy in her hand. Once she is 35 meters away from Mubu, she would throw it at him. As the jutsu moved at a speed of 110 and a power of 130. Once the jutsu was 10 meters from hitting Mubu, she would form the confrontation seal and detonate the orb, creating a massive explosion that is 20 meters in diameter. The explosion would not only damage Mubu, but send him flying out of the ring, unless he has some way to stop it.

Combat Tings::

First Scenario:
As Harune stood there, waiting for her opponent, it seemed he would not show up. Indicating he forfeited the match which would make Harune the victor, allowing her move on to the next round. Leaving the arena, she would make her way back to the seats to watch the following matches.

Second Scenario:
Her opponent did show up but failed to do anything to stop her attack, or flee from its devastating impact. Being hit with the full force of the sun sphere, Mubu would be knocked out and sent into the out-of-bounds portion of the arena, declaring Harune the winner. Leaving the arena, she would make her way back to the seats to watch the following matches.


Either way, Harune will EXIT.

520/2500 Mastery of Sun Release: Blast Sphere (Increased Stat)

Arriving last minute after indulging in too much alcohol at the festival and loosing his grasp of time, Mubu ran into the amphiteater backstage, his nice and beautifull costume for the festival all diplaced and unkempt. ''OH MY SOUND AM I TOO LATE ?!?''  asked Mubu in a desperate voice. He wasnt one to attribute lots of importance to fighting in general, but the fact it was with the beautifull Harune, he couldnt miss that opportunity. As the drums of the festival rumbled up to announce soon the resignation of Mubu because of his late arrival, he used his sound release to yell strongly so the crowd and organisators would know he was there. ''I'M WELL HERE AND ALIVE! THANKS FOR WAITING ON ME!'' yelled Mubu with a smooth voice, trying to keep his cool as much as possible. As he changed his attire for a combat one under the disgrunted look of a not amused organisator, Mubu entered the arena with what appeared to be a little girl, the same he used in the showdown, at his side.

Arriving in the middle of the arena, he presented his excuses to Harune, who didnt look quite happy to wait on Mubu. ''Hey Harune! sorry for the wait, you know damn too well I like making myself desired for me too be there at the right time! Lets get this match started alright? ahahahAHHAHHA'' laughed Mubu and said the boy suavely to the girl. He didnt mind loosing, as to be with her and having the opportunity to flirt to him was already a win. Placing himself at the right position 25m from the seal and 50m from Harune, Mubu waited for the signal to be sounded. As soon as the seal of confrontation signaled the start of the match, Mubu backpedaled 20 more metters backwards to create more distance with Harune, his puppet following him, creating a distance of 70m. Little did Harune know, but the chakra threads were already linked to the puppet, but Mubu made them invisible, and carried the puppet by faking to hold it by the side of the arm. Faking to drop it beside him to the floor, Mubu would wait for his opponent to get closer. As soon as Harune wold start moving, Mubu would perform the handisgns Tiger, Ram, Ox, Snake, Dog, Tiger and immediately right after, make his puppet move as if the handsigns were related. ''Now I wouldnt advice you to stay this far, pretty girl. Lets just say it arrange me and my little friend over here.'' Said Mubu's clone in a taunting voice, goading Harune to come up close and personnal. In fact, the signs created a perfectly overlaping clone of mubu and his puppet, that Harune would now seen seemlessly instead of the real Mubu and his puppet, who to Harune were now invisible, the illusion replacing the real. As long as they would stay in Harune's sight, Harune wouldnt notice the difference, fully convinced of fighting the real Mubu and his puppet. Also, the genjutsu would disrupt Harune chakra, debuffing her chakra and vigor stats by -50 as long as it would be in effect. If attacked, the illusion would dodge, and Mubu will use it further to act it and make it talk as himself. He would position himself 20 meter to the hard left of the unsuspecting Harune, being also 20 metter from the illusion of himself. At all time trough this maneuver, Mubu would maintain his puppet always in the back of Harune ready at any second to activate its mechanism, 5 metter from it in her blind spot behind so she couldnt see it, the chakra threads being invisible.

Late as always. Per usual from the puppet user, himself. Loud and obnoxious, he found himself at the center of the arena with Harune and Kaito-sensei. She stared blankly as he began to show out as if he was some masterpiece to be wanted. Harune couldn’t help but give out a sigh and roll her eyes, as thoughts from Raikur and her previous conversation on the Gepetto wanna-be. Mubu, he is just a sick fool. A diseased-ridden rat. Not only does she have disdain for Mubu at this point, but also this Julia girl. After this tournament, she plans on finding this girl…and well, let’s just say it won’t be a graceful meeting.

As the match began, Harune began to feel her eyes light up into the first stage of the Tengan and chakra enhance (+50/50 Vigor/Chakra) throughout her body as Mubu slowly started to back-peddle, Harune formed the ram seal and immediately body flickered 15 meters in front of Mubu as he still was backpedaling.  During this time, Mubu would begin a series of hand signs and the puppet would begin to move. Going to her defense, she watched closely as the puppet began to speak to her. One thing that she caught was that the heat signatures that radiated off of Mubu were now gone, but yet moving away from her. Interesting, as the Mubu standing in front of her had to be just a mere illusion as the real was moving.

Harune formed the tiger seal and broke the genjutsu that she was under. Revealing the real positions of Mubu and his puppet. Mubu was 12 meters away from her as he was still trying to get in position as well as the puppet 5 meters to her left to get behind her. Immediately punching the ground with her Cherry Blossom Impact, the ground beneath them would seemingly explode in a 20-meter radius as a shockwave with the power and speed of 100 extends outwards. The puppet would ultimately be destroyed with the clashing of the technique, and anywhere Mubu would run, he would still be hit with the shockwave as the speed is 3x greater than his own.

Having his puppet already positionned close to Harune due to the incredible speed of it, Mubu smiled when she saw that Harune was not playing about. Her face meant business, as she clearly had a lot of feelings for Mubu. Not good feelings, probably hate and disgust, but feelings nonetheless. After all, thought Mubu, hate is close to love isnt it? Or was this about Raikur, Harune brother? Maybe Mubu hurted his feelings, and now his sister wanted to avenge him? Or all of thoses reasons, who knows! What Mubu knew tho, is that he wouldnt let his opponent destroy him. Sure he wanted to seduce her, but now that was taking it very seriously and hardcore, he knew he needed even more to make her loose, to give her a taste of Mubu's genius. Harune was still under the debuff of the genjutsu(-50vigor,-50 Chakra) even if she was to release of broke it.

Having the puppet already ready 5m close to Harune before she realized the illusion, Mubu activated the puppet mechanism as soon as Harune started doing the handseal for the genjutsu release, instantly getting that the ruse and mascarade was pierced, and that harune knew. At the same time, Harune smashed the ground with astonishing force, her whole body fixed in position as the shockwave moved. Nonetheless, the mechanism of the puppet was faster than Harune punch (90 vs 75), who as she was punching the ground, couldnt move or dodge the sound waves. As the mechanism activated with a radius of 10m in each direction from the puppet, Harune was hit by a excruciating sound, or shriek, resonnating trough her ears, as well as her internal organs, for a total of 90 damage. Also, the sound waves affecting the organs and the nervous system of Harune would be largely affected, making her almost instantly projectile vomit and fall to the ground, unnable to move, react or perform handseals, the disabling effect being akin to paralysis (1 post). Her stomach would turn around, and all of her senses would be a wreck, seing blury, earing only the horrible noise. As the noise could be heard, the crowd covered their ears, affected by the terrifying sound of Do, the eerie puppet of Mubu. Unfortunately for Mubu, after having his puppet firstly hit and affect Harune, the shockwave of her fist smashing the ground would hit him, as he was not fast enough to dodge. His puppet on the other hands, could move at a speed faster than the shockwave(120 speed) and quickly rose above the crumbling heartquacky ground, 2m above its original position, effectively dodging the ground technique, and continuing to affect Harune. Even tho he wasnt a typical fighter, Mubu decided to not dodge, and take the brunt of the shockwave, taking 90 damage too (10dr gone, 90 to HP).

Mubu shrugged, his face and body scraped with blood and dirt as the arena ground hurt him a lot. As the shockwave hit Mubu barely seconds after the hit on Harune, Mubu would play his flute, casting another excruciating and extremely loud sound toward harune in a cone shape with a range of 20m, more than enough to caught up to Harune. The girl being disabled and paralyzed while still hitting the ground and vomiting would be locked in place, unable to dodge or resist the attack, recieving damage of 40 to her hit points.  [OOC: effectively ending the combat, as the match are done within a pool of 100HP, Mubu having 10 left(100 dmg-10DR=90 dmg, 10 HP left) and Harune having -25 (90 dmg-5DR=85 dmg, =40 dmg= 125 dmg)]

Mubu behing exhausted, looked at the judge, waiting for a decision to be done. Soon after, he looked at Harune, a normaly gracefull and beautifull lady, who was now crippled into her own crater spewing vomit everywhere, shacking and twitching, still unable to move under the continuing sound of the puppet playing, as well as the continuing flute sound blast toward her unmoving disabled body, shaken on all front by cruel and tormenting soundwaves.

Who knew a puppet could cause such a ruckus? Harune’s ears were on fire, her head felt like it was splitting open. Her only reaction to this could be to cover her ears but that didn’t help, so she vomited on the ground with the few contents that she ate for the day. (-85 to Health) However, in her struggle and delay, there was a brief miracle. A window of opportunity. Mubu moved his puppet only 2-meters upwards to try to dodge the ground effect, but he forgot about the AoE shockwave effect that has a 20-meter radius meaning the shockwave moved like a dome outward. He allowed for his own puppet to be destroyed by the jutsu’s power of 75 clashing with the health of the puppet which is 60.

As the puppet is destroyed Harune regains her senses and follows up with a series of hand signs: Bird - Boar - Dog - Dragon - Hare - Horse. She could feel the revitalizing chakra fill her body and begin to repair the damage done caused by the puppet. (+50 to Health) As her body heals herself, she looks past the broken machine and sees Mubu standing…barely…just like her. As Mubu started to play his flute, creating sound waves targeting her. Forming hand signs: Monkey -> Ox -> Snake -> Ram -> Tiger -> Dog, a thin-like chakra barrier formed around her skin as the sound waves made impact, only dispersing to nothing, allowing her to be unharmed as the clashing sound waves (40 power) against her DRS (70 power). Harune would wait and see what other tricks Mubu has up his sleeves.
