Responding to a Summons

Konohagakure. The Village Hidden in the Leaf. Surrounded by forests and home of the Forest of Death. It was strangely fitting for his father to summon him here of all places. His own clan was originally from this very village. It was like a wandering son coming home for the first time in decades. There was many things he needed to ask his father but he knew that he would be briefed in entirety when they were face to face or else he would have added more to the letter he sent him.
 
There was a strange Genjutsu that had surrounded the Village on his way here, something about it felt very much as something that his father would have created and implemented. Now that he was here it was time to get past the gates, the old man looked at the line and wondered if he should simply skip the line and produce the summons but that didn’t seem as fun and after all while he knew his father was someone that wanted things done swiftly he hadn’t specified that he should rush to get there.
 
With a smile on his face, Hiroya took his place in the line to be checked and the likes by the Gate Guards. If there was an issue though he didn’t mind simply causing a scene, after all sometimes you need a warm up when you got as old as he was.

He stood within the shadows of the trees near the guard shake on the right of the gates silently watching the rabble of the people coming into the village. In his left hand had been an green apple, ripe and full of life. In his right had been a small cutting knife that he had been using to slowly but silently cut the apple in half. His job at this moment was to watch those that had came in and using his chakra sensory to pick out anyone who might cause an issue or even be trying to get into the village under false pretense. Most of the people coming had been merchants and people trying to see the Great Konoha, but one had stood out not only within his eyes but within his senses as well.

Leaning from the tree he would flick the knife into he tree that was just behind him and remove a tuft of his long red hair from his face to get a better look at them. Red eyes perused the elderly male as he held the apple in his hands firmly, just enough so that his strength did not crunch it and he smirked,” And what is your name old man?,” the question was asked with a tinge of hubris, but the male did not know any better. Standing 5 meters from Hiroya, he would keep his eyes on the male to see if he would try anything…strange.

The line was moving slowly, which was to be expected and if Hiroya learned anything in his old age it was patience so when something felt different approaching him a smile was the only thing that would form on his face. His eyes scanned the crowd, none of the guards made him feel any kind of way so he passed over them but a red long haired young man approaching him told him this was what made his Chakra Sensory go off.
 
He was holding an apple in one hand and a knife in the other, his movements spoke of training far above the riff raff that was here. A description of a new addition to the family popped into his head, this must be the youngest that his father had told him about while he had been retired. He turned to the young man his right hand resting on his Katana and his left on his Wakizashi, non-threatening but more then ready as the red haired fellow came closer to him now standing at 5m from Hiroya.
 
A chuckle came from the man as the boy asked for his name, “Now young man, Didn’t your father teach you its good manners to introduce yourself first when it comes to asking for someone else’s?” Hiroya would say with the same smile he had on, it was a smile that presented a friendly outer appearance but it did not reach his eyes. Would this young man give him the warm up he was looking for? Or would this simply be interesting interaction with someone of his father’s ever expanding family?

He had noticed the swords and made a calculation in his mind wondering what the speed of his draw would be against the speed of his hand. The look on his face could show he was contemplating something but decided to not allow intrusive thoughts to win. Instead he would begin to throw the apple up into the air as he raised a brow to the males question and shrugged," Which one? The father that died or the one that remains in char- Ah I get it now. You must be the old man's eldest brat. I heard you up and left the coop and are just now trying to return...Name keeps on evading me for some reason," at the last toss he would snatch the apple from the air and rip a large chunk from its fruity flesh, sharp like teeth gleaming against the sun's rays. He wouldn't bother with antagonizing the old man, he did not want to have to deal with Aokidanza at this stage, at least not his mouth. Keeping his eyes on the male he would shrug and take another bite before swallowing,” Nuraihyon. And you.”

Interesting Interaction it seemed that this path will go, Hiroya didn’t dislike it as he would rather not deal with his father’s complaining if they were to cause damage to the area. He knew his father wouldn’t care about them fighting since he favored the strong but he would nag if they caused any potential harm to those trying to visit the village. With a sigh Hiroya listened to the young man throw his slight jab at his retirement. “We know which one I mean, though it seems that Yachiru hasn’t gotten around to dealing with it.” He said as he visibly relaxed but still had an air that he would be more then willing to have a warm up if the youngest wanted too.
 
“Trying to return…hmmm…I guess you could say that, after all I was summoned by the old man.” Hiroya laughed. “Does he still look like he hasn’t aged a day in his life?” he asked Nuraihyon, not purposely avoiding giving his name, he felt as if the boy probably knew his name just fine and he wanted to know more about just how much his father had changed in his retirement. Hiroya knew that the man never aged, he still held onto his youth quite well, it was something he had asked about when he was younger but it seemed that there wasn’t a way to transfer it to others after all if he could Hiroya would probably still be in his prime.
 
“Age is suppose to be the great equalizer but it seems that not even it can hold onto our father.” He said as he shaked his head, “It is nice to meet you little brother, I am Hiroya Hatake. I greatly look forward to seeing what father saw in you.” After all their father only cared about potential when it came to taking them in, and that meant the boy in front of him held some kind of it within in him. It made him itch to fight against him, after all he knew he was not in his best shape like he once was but it would be the best way to see just how far he had fallen. “Now that we know who each is, Would we be able to head inside? I can get away with the delay I’ve already done but anymore and father will unleash Yachiru on me.” He asked with a more genuine smile that felt of family as at the end of the day Hiroya cared for his family second to only his father.

"Bit of a weird question eh? Same today as he was yesterday or however the phrase goes. However I am not the one to argue semantics or ideologies with. Not my style," another large bite of the apple would be taken as the core would begin to reveal itself. For the most part he could see why Aoki would take an interest in them, but what he wanted to know would only come with time. When he mentioned Yachiru he would make a see-saw like motion with his hand," You can deal with the sadistic blood god all you want, i personally don't want to deal with her or her...quirks. Huh. Seems like the lot of you have quirks in his entourage. Anyway, hurry up and don't keep him waiting. Won't be on my head if you do old man," the quip about age had been a bit of a foreign concept to him as for all intents and purposes he was only a few days old, but had the mannerism and intelligence of someone wise beyond his years. For that though he would keep it to himself as he turned on his heels and made his way to the gates. Using the index finger on his right hand he would motion for his so called brother to follow him into the village so they could go and meet with Aokidanza. Of course as they walked he would turn only slightly to where one of his eyes could be seen looking at Hiroya, seemingly glistening with hues of blue and red," If you're blood is itching for a fight you'll get your due. Make no mistake about that," and what followed was a devilish grin that caused his very blood to begin to boil.

Sensible and childish, it was what Hiroya thought of Nurai but not in a way that demeans the boy just showed his age in some of the ways. Hiroya wouldn’t know just how young Nurai truly was but it reminded him of his own youth. “Good, this shows signs of promise.” Hiroya thought to himself as he begun to follow his little brother. The mentions of Yachiru brought another smile to his face, Hiroya in his younger years certainly had those same impressions of the woman, it took many years for him to adapt to her mannerisms and “quirks” as Nurai had mentioned.
 
“Yeah, Father seems to find the most interesting people in his travels. Which means you must have some too.” Hiroya mentioned as they walked with a jovial aura, that would be mixed with is desire to fight ramping up as Nurai looked at him with a smile mentioning he would get a chance at a fight with the young man in time. “Glad to see that the family is so welcoming.” He would say glad that his father had sent that messenger hawk to him. If he hadn’t he would still be in is modest home blanketed in the acceptance of his aging body and the closing in of the Grim reaper.
