A Harsh Lesson? Perhaps.

The moonlight had just recently broke over Konohagakure, a rare time too be out, most would sleep at this time, others were out doing work, and some were even out doing missions, really no matter what path you walked, something interesting would always happen at night, that's what the legends say at least. Walking upon the steps leading towards that thunderous arena however, felt almost maddening too do, the aura of the building was strange, perhaps it had a seal upon it, perhaps it was simply intimidating by concept. The thought of a massive arena where battles beyond comprehension took place, though as far as Xena knew this Arena hadn't even been used yet since it's construction a few months back, the up coming chuunin exams might be one of the few times it will be uses on mass scale, perhaps there's reason for that as well, regardless, the girls curiosity got the better of her, she wanted too see what the place looked like, and so she went, walking up the stairs towards it.

The late time would result in the expected, the entrances were shut, specifically by large gates, who would of thought, walking around the arena tracing a hand on the wall Xena thought for a moment on how too gain entry, perhaps the simplest answer was the best. A single hand would form the Ram seal, her body beginning to flicker in and out of vision before flying upwards, towards the top of the Arena, after 2-3 seconds she'd reach the top of the Arena with little difficulty being able too reach far higher if she needed too. Her body flicker was simply well trained, more then others at least, either that or she had a gift for the technique though as she slowly made her way forward towards the beams covered in cloth, she'd face down at the arena, observing it from ahigh, granting a wonderous view, though she was moderately disappointed too only see a sandy ground, she heard rumors of the arena having special terrain, perhaps it needed to be activated, though she can't say she wanted to go down there too observe anything, simply being up here this late could be seen as being bad.

Perhaps she should get down now that she's finished her curiosity, turning she's sigh placing her hands in her pockets, where should she go next she pondered, pulling a hand out before placing a thumb on her lower lip, perhaps she could go too the Hyuuga District, see what Zarina was up too, assuming they were even awake, she didn't really know the Hyuuga Ladies sleep schedule, perhaps she didn't even sleep, wouldn't that be funny. Taking a moment she'd sit looking off in the Hyuuga Districts direction, it was a decent distance away, likely a mile or two, she wouldn't be able too make it in one body flicker, or multiple. She could just walk, though she didn't really perceive that going well, she'd get there in maybe 2 hours, which would be better spent just going home this late, maybe she shouldn't of even came this way after all that training with Nokino and the others. She was somewhat tired if she was too be honest with herself, she didn't want too be but she was.

Yachiru trains Xeno about Genjutsu:

Seemingly blinking into existence by an unexplained means, Yachiru would appear at the center of the arena. Her lax gaze, crystal blue eye and long lashes fixed in the direction of the Uchiha woman. From so far away, she managed to notice her leering off into the distance. The Blood Witch remained quite, still, stalking the woman, seeming fading into the distance as she blended in with the very air. She was given a task, only results from this task will suffice her lord. But the task she was assigned was rather puzzling, if she was being honest.

“An Uchiha? Looking down upon the streets of Konoha under a moonlit sky. Now that seem melodramatic.”

Her words did not manifest to be heard by another other than herself. Xena was too far from her to hear, so she didn’t need to worry about lowering her tone. She would continue to gaze at the woman, smiling and thinking… thinking about at the loathsome things she is about to put her through. The trace of her foul intent oozed from her like aura. The air grew tense and thin. The sensation of grim and death filled the air as Yachiru was growing more anxious as the second passed.

“Lets begin…”

Gazing up towards the moon, Xena simply continued her thoughts, the air up above the arena felt strangely clear, far clearer then down in the streets, perhaps that was due too the lack of people who come this way, or simply the height at which she was at. It simply felt, nicer. Though, as the moonlight shone across the arena, a foreboding presence would begin too rear itself. She could sense it, even without the ability too sense Chakra, something she would really learn by this point, slowly coming too a stand she turned too the arena looking down at it, a figure was there, in the center, someone she didn't recognize, given she didn't recognize many folks in this village, maybe she needed too get a list of people too meet, wouldn't that be a fun day. Considering they arrived with no form of entry, their either a jounin or something more. What was the play here she'd wonder, walking forward a bit, dropping straight down, her feet landing on a railing before she'd drop onto the sand. This wasn't the right play, she could feel it, if this was a enemy ninja, well, she was likely dead, but she somewhat trusted the villages defenses.

Walking forward some more, she now stood 30 meters away from the figure, smart enough too keep her distance, should she require too dodge something, 30 meters should be more then enough time, even if she didn't have the enhanced sight she should have. She eventually spoke placing a hand in her behind her head near her swords hilt, though it simply looked like she was scratching the back of her head. "So, what brings you here?" Xena would simply ask, continuing too ponder, the woman's attire was interesting, and in a sense foreboding, a Kimono on its own, hardly combat gear, perhaps they were simply strong enough too not need it. Perhaps they simply had other plans then fighting, wouldn't that be nice. She wasn't about too attack someone out of the blue however, she'd simply wait, wait for any sign of combat, and then well, she'd have too decide from there rather quickly wouldn't she.

Yachiru was aware of the Uchiha learning of her presence, thus her eyes inverted to twin red rings over black eyeballs. As the woman descends, she will find that the visual lighting was lacking. Making it impossible to see the eyes of the woman clearly, but the red rings would hue as she focused on the woman. Her approach was guided with caution, a wise choice. However, the Chinoike woman knew that the Uchiha was reaching for her hilt. The Ketsuryugan at this stage allowed for the woman to see perfectly fine in the natural dark. The question was asked, but as it was simultaneously the Genjutsu of Yachiru was soundlessly casted.

With Yachiru being as proficient in the art of Genjutsu she mastered the technique known only to her clan as the most powerful Genjutsu. And by doing so she mastered it to increase the range, which Xena so perfectly stood within. The woman would instantly feel an intense migraine that would stem from an override of their memory bank, utterly destroying her recollection of events that lead up to this point, meaning she wouldn’t even remember why she was even there or the last three topics she was part of. Thus any memories of learning any tech from that last three topics will be erased and thus she will forget even knowing those Jutsu, skills, etc.

The actions of Xeno would be interrupted, she wouldn’t even see Yachiru there as she too was erased from her existence. Her mind would completely convince her that no one was there because it believed no one was there. Everything was blank. Simultaneously she would take a -70 to her chakra and vigor stats reducing them from 125 to 55. The Blood Witch gave her Genjutsu five times the required chakra input which would mean that the Uchiha, should she somehow manage to figure out that she was in a Genjutsu, would have to match that amount to escape. But that would mean that Xena would first have to realize that she’s in a why she was there, or what she was doing from the past three topics, then realize she’s not alone and then after that realize she’s in a Genjutsu somehow and then break out of it. Yachiru was so experienced that it became second nature for her to completely erase any traces of her existence, any flawed in her Ketsuryugan genjutsu.

Yachiru stood there with a cold gaze in her eyes as they lazily sat on the Uchiha in her Genjutsu. Bloodlust shimmered in her eyes. This was amusing to her. She craved to see just how powerful the Sharingan of this Uchiha was…but would that even happen?

As the Genjutsu's effects began too set in, Xena's off hand placed itself on her head, holding it as the migraine set in, given the lack of light the pain wasn't excruciating, but it was noticeable, her eyes shut a bit, now only open half way as she looked forward turning her gaze too the left and then too right, what just happened she pondered... The last thing she remembered... Was waking up, and then blank, did she sleep walk she wondered, perhaps she was dreaming, but then, where was she now, her eyes gazed around finding herself in a colosseum like structure, the walls were tall, taller then it looked as if she could jump, she would simply just continue trying too think of why she was here, She couldn't remember the last 72 hours at all, it was strange, perhaps... no, that wouldn't make any sense. Taking a step too the right now looking away from the cloaked enemy she had no perception of, she looked up at the moon, attempting too guess the time, 2AM. That was the best she could guess from just the moon, Perhaps she simply fell asleep here. Taking a walk towards the left wall she'd jump up too the railing taking a look at the seats, this seemed to be a fighting arena, based on appearance it was new, and based on symbols among other things it was in Konohagakure. When did they build this she wondered, taking a walk down the rail looking for any observable doors, the darkness didn't help, but given that it was night and she wasn't about too just wait until morning she'd move around, looking for a out, a way back too the streets, if that was even possible.

Yachiru smile grew intensely, observing the mirrored world that her mind was trapped in due to her clans ultimate Genjutsu. Where in the real world, Xena was merely standing 30 meters away from the woman, where in her mind she believed that she was moving freely. Her mind was completely erased of the last 72 hours and the existence of Yachiru.

The Woman began to take her steps toward, closing the distance between them with no foliage in her path. Her steps were steady and the Uchiha was unaware of the nearing danger that came from Yachiru. In her mind she was investigating her whereabouts, while in reality Yachiru was now standing directly in front of her. Her hand, her left hand raised and reached for her hair, but not just her hair, through it, to her ear, at which she traced its outline. Gently clasping her index finger knuckle and thumb around the edge of the ear. Yachiru’s smile grew eerie, her eyes narrowed as they hued brightly. Her mind marathoned about what she could do, would do, will do with this child’s ear.

Her being touched by Yachiru will go unnoticed in this hypnotized state, for her mind believes everything that she’s experiencing now was real and not what was happening in reality, in fact her mind didn’t even register it. Nor did her senses.

“Uchiha. I’ve yet to cross paths with one that could entertain me long enough to take them seriously in a fight.”

Her words would fall on deaf ears as the Uchiha would not hear them, yet all the same it was said. Yachiru did not flex, nor did she gloat, she spoke a fact. She’s heard nothing but how superior the Uchiha believed themselves to be as a girl. And as she grew she has proven that legacy a myth, and outright lie. And Uchiha’s visual prowess is far above most, which is why they are idolized as the top three, Byakugan, Sharingan and Rinnegan. She would often find that to be quite rude, to dismiss the Ketsuryugan so brazenly. It was unforgivable. And thus she will see to it that that blasphemous act is dealt with equally in measure.

The outside world, as the moon glowed upon the paralyzed figure, her eyes seemed dull, empty of life, with little too snuff out, her arms hung next too her torso, as she faced forward, a neutral expression on her face, not one of fear, or confidence, the kind of face you'd expect too find on someone deceased, a face without any tension, one with no hint of being forced or moves by the muscles beneath, the black eyes closed half way, almost as if a tiredness was washing over them, though the eyes would continue staring forward, a dull darkness covering them, The Uchiha was unaware of the Genjutsu they were in, or of the fact they were being caressed, how strange. Her long Hair found it's own way too be troublesome, needing too be moved out of the way before access too her ear was granted, too think, this movement so close too that ear, this talking so close too it, and she couldn't hear any of it, perhaps it was simply fate, perhaps it was simply the power gap, though none of this outer thought could be had in the fake world she was forced too reside in currently.

As Xena wandered around the colosseum looking for a exit, she yawned, her mouth opening wide as one would, she was tired, it was late after all, and she should be getting home by this time, perhaps she'd be able too reach it easier if she actually knew how too leave, try as she might the Colosseum seemed to have no doors, only ways down into darkness, which granted could lead too the exit but the eerie sensation they gave made her reconsider, she could try body flicker, though what good would that do, feeling this tired it's likely she'd just crash into a wall, eventually she'd take a seat looking into the main area, thinking, what was this place even made for, it's obviously a colosseum but when was it made, and why did Konohagakure even need one, perhaps she just wasn't thinking hard enough, perhaps it had special abilities that made fights easier, she could try looking for a control room or something though she could only imagine that wouldn't end well, especially if she actually did find it, activating this place without permission would likely get her in heaps of trouble, though her trouble was certainly only beginning.
