Going With The Flow

Deeb had always been fascinated by the rivers that flowed through the lands of rivers. The way they ebbed and flowed, the way they twisted and turned, always seemed to him like a reflection of life itself. And so, when the opportunity arose to embark on a journey down one of these rivers, Deeb jumped at the chance. He packed his bags and set out early one morning, the sun just beginning to peek over the horizon. Initially, the river was calm and serene, the water sparkling in the sunlight. But as the day wore on, the current grew more robust and the rapids more treacherous. Deeb had to use all his skill and strength to navigate them, but he relished the adventure's challenge and thrill.
He passed through small villages and lone stretches of road, encountering many people along the way. Some were friendly and welcoming, offering him food and shelter, while others were suspicious and wary, eyeing him with suspicion. But Deeb was undeterred. He knew that his journey was not just about the river but about the people and places he encountered along the way. And so, Deeb continued, always curious and always open to new experiences. As he approached the end of his journey in River, Deeb felt a sense of sadness and nostalgia. The vagabond had grown to love the river and everything it represented but knew it was time to move on. And so, with a heavy heart, he set his sights on the forests of Fire Country, finding he could not go further west.
