In the Market for some friends

He felt the excitement bubbling away within him before he even got anywhere near the Kirigakure Market, Jiraijin hoped onto the back of a cart, flipping a coin to the merchant and taking a seat next to a barrel of was probably fresh fish - the fact it was sealed was a good thing. Every month there was a food festival set up by the local merchants, it was great for commerce, there was usually competitions and overall it was a vibrant event. Traders from all over the village would come to showcase their delectable creations. The aroma’s filled the air, enough to make his stomach growl in anticipation

As he came closer to the festival grounds, Jiraijin was hit, nay, assaulted by the vibrant sea of colours shifting between the stools. Vibrant banners covered each traders wares, mouth-watering displays of food, fantastic home made creations of both food and personal crafts for all. Wine and ales, even ciders and beer’s punctuated the air. All traders were dressed in traditional attire, busy with there masterpieces. They were proud faces and enthusiasm, Jiraijin smirked - likely due to their pockets getting heavier by the minute.

His eyes darted from stall to stalls taking in the array of delicacies. He wished his friends were here, it would have been something to look forward to do with them, something casual and away from the either mindnumblingly boring administration missions or the life threatening patrols. He took a swig from his water canteen, before moving to the stalls with grilled skewers, sushi, ramen and even those selling exclusively sweets.

"Ah, welcome, young Shinobi!" the chef greeted him with a warm smile. "What can I serve you today?"

Jiraijin's eyes sparkled with anticipation. "I'll have a bowl of your signature miso ramen, please," he replied, his voice filled with enthusiasm, he waited comfortably for the chef to come back, his eyes looked across the stall to the other side of the serving area.

Primmy had decided to check out the local festival downtown close to the water. The smell of the fresh smell of the sea, the smell of food and of course, seafood! She walked through the crowds and vendors with her hair pulled up and a black tank too and surprisingly a cute black skirt! Yeah it had been a while since she dressed or felt like a female. All her friends had been pushing her to take time out to enjoy herself, make friends and be herself, and for goodness sakes, dress like a girl instead of a ninja now and then!
 The warm weather was wonderful and so many people were out and about at the festival! There was laughter, music, lots of food and lots of retail items for the visitors to Kiri. Of course there were lots of ninja on duty. Prim almost immediately recognized Jeordie, Taki and Zeb. The older Joining Brothers of Team Fuku Kiri! Luckily Prim had the day off and had decided to take the initiative to get to know the locals, the village and why this place is hopping with visitors.
She walked into a Ramen shop and sat next to a young man who seemed to be rather friendly with the guy serving food here! She looked at the young man and smiled after he had ordered. She then ordered some grilled shrimp skewers and a glass of sake.
“This place have these kinds of festivals all the time? I just recently moved to Kiri so I am learning about the customs here.” Prim said, talking to the young man while sipping her Sake. “I'm Prim, Primrose Uchiha. And you are?” She asked as she introduced herself. May as well start talking to people while she is here, best place to start!
