Appearance: Ku is a 10ft long, 310 lbs white komodo dragon.

Personality: Ku is a rather relaxed and laid back Komodo dragon who often spends her time sunbathing on the balcony connected to Junko's office within the Kage Tower. She, like the rest of her species, is highly intelligent and often pays close attention to the emotional state of those around her. Her time is often filled with eating various fish and meat, along with basking in the sun along the various rivers and beaches throughout Tsukigakure.

History: Due to Ku's odd skin tone, it was rather hard for her to survive in the world as a hatchling. She often found herself having to hide in dark, dank places to avoid being picked off by one of the various predators. Thankfully she had been able to make it to adult hood, and once she had grown to her max size, she no longer needed to worry about becoming prey. While wandering one of the various beaches, she met a young woman by the name of Junko Tsukiko who offered her some fish to eat. As days passed, Ku would meet the woman in the same spot and each day Junko would feed her some fresh fish. Soon Ku warmed up to her and realized how much simpler her life would be if she just stayed around the human. After one of their regular meeting, Ku instead decided to follow Junko back to her home and now spends most of her days living the life of a pampered pet.

Passive Abilities:

Enhanced Smell: Komodo dragons are known for their heightened sense of smell which makes them prized trackers and sensors. Using its forked tongue, Ku can sample the air particles within a 15m radius and detect those not concealing their scent with an appropriate skill or tech. This expands to a 35m radius if the familiar or shinobi have the sensory specialty.

Telepathy Glands: Most Komodo dragons have venom glands in their lower jaws, however due to Ku’s innate sensory capabilities, she’s able to use the glands to produce a toxin that allows for limited telepathy. After biting down on a target, her saliva infuses in the person's bloodstream and remains there until the bond of formed with another target. This link only works when the target and Ku are within 15m (35 with sensory specialty) of each other. Also, Ku may only have the link with one person at a time, and the communication is limited to emotions, images, and sensory input.

Bloody Bite: Due to their serrated teeth and blood thinning to venom, those bit by Ku will bleed profusely and will be unable to stop it unless targeted by a tech that removes poisons or toxins. This effect will also end once the target has exited the topic and doesn’t carry over between threads.
