Tsuna's blade cut through with ease. The smuggler's head fell to the ground, rolling to Ciel’s foot. With a flick of his wrist, Tsuna instantly cleared the blood from his blade before returning it to its sheath.

Tsuna's foot hit the ground as he ended his flight technique, signaling the end of his actions. The Three-Eyed Raven looked at the fallen enemy, expecting an answer to his earlier question. "No answer? You had at least a few seconds to state your name, " he said coldly.

Tsuna then turned to Asuran, instructing him to fetch Ashborn. The lion gave a low growl before departing to carry out the task. Tsuna finally shifted his attention to Ciel and Joro.

Tsunayoshi glanced at the decapitated smuggler's head, now resting by Ciel’s foot, before turning his attention to the two Genin. His eyes were sharp and stern, reflecting the seriousness of the situation.

"Let this be a lesson, " he began, his voice steady and cold. " Regarding gate guard duty, you need to be more vigilant. Enemies like this will always look for any blind spot they can exploit. Our responsibility is to ensure that no detail is overlooked. "

He took a step closer to Ciel and Joro, his gaze piercing. " You both have to be alert and thorough. Even the slightest lapse in your vigilance can lead to situations like this—unwelcome surprises that could have been avoided with better oversight. "

Tsunayoshi paused, letting his words sink in. " We need to maintain a constant state of awareness. Be proactive and anticipate potential threats rather than reacting to them after the fact. Remember, those who wish us harm will exploit any weakness we show. "

Let’s return to our duties and keep our guard up. " With that, Tsunayoshi gave a curt nod to Ciel and Joro, signaling that the discussion was over. He then turned to see how Ashborn was progressing, ready to continue the mission with renewed focus.

Tsunayoshi's sharp eyes caught sight of a green-haired shinobi in the distance, positioned about fifty meters outside the gate. The young man stood in a stance that suggested he was preparing to use projectiles, effectively cutting off any potential escape routes for the target.

" Hey, you there! Step forward, " Tsunayoshi called out, his voice commanding but not unkind. " Nice work out there. What’s your name? "

Ciel would watch with a slightly unimpressed look on his face as the head would roll down to his feet , but in reality he thought it was pretty smooth how Tsuna slaughtered the guy without breaking a sweat. Ciel knew this was a blunder and all the attention it brought definitely wasent going to end without someone scolding him on the days events.

His first instinct was to just leave but knew that would just cause more problems than what it’s worth , so when Tsuna started to speak Ciel would listen attentively and apologize for his lack of awareness. He would ask Tsuna was there anything else he’d like to tell him and would leave if his scolding for the day was finish , there was paper work to be done still to complete his guard duty work. Before leaving he’d give a Joro a slight farewell wave .

Tsunayoshi's swift and decisive move ended the smuggler's life, leaving Kenchi impressed with his professionalism and leadership. The fluidity and efficiency of Tsuna's actions were a testament to his experience and skill.

As Tsunayoshi Hoshimura scolded the other two genin, Kenchi noted the importance of vigilance and duty in every word. Each reprimand was a valuable lesson, a reminder that even the tiniest oversight could lead to dire consequences.

Hearing Tsunayoshi call for him, Kenchi quickly scanned his surroundings, ensuring no lingering threats. His keen senses picked up on every detail, from the rustling of leaves to the distant chirping of birds, confirming that the immediate area was secure. Confident the area was safe, he sprinted towards Tsunayoshi, his remarkable speed kicking up a trail of dust behind him. His movements were a blur, showcasing his agility and physical prowess, traits that made him stand out during his academy days in Astral Points in his own right.

Reaching Tsunayoshi, Kenchi straightened up, exuding a sense of discipline and respect. He introduced himself, "Kenchi, sir." He paused briefly before adding, "Midorigawa Kenchi. I am from Tsukiakari-by-the-sea. And a Genin of Hoshigakure." His voice was steady and clear, reflecting his confidence and readiness to serve.

Joro stood 30 meters away from the fight that had just taken place. Well, it wasn't really a fight, more of an execution. It seemed odd, Tsuna, one of the Nova Corps. One of the bringers of justice to slay someone like that. As Tsuna stood over the dead body, muttering some words at him with a serious face. Joro stood still. It was all very odd. Kenchi was far off, about 80 meters from Joro. He could recognize that green hair anywhere.

Tsuna began to speak again, but this time Tsuna turned to Joro and Ciel's direction. But with 30 meters of distance between them, he couldn't make out much of what he was saying. He seemed to be talking about Gate guard duty but with a scolding face. Joro didn't really understand why he or Ciel were being chastised considering they had done nothing wrong. At the same time, Tsuna had just jumped off the gate and chopped someone's head off.

Maybe Tsuna should be getting checked, but that wasn't Joro's place to say. By this time, Tsuna had seemed to finish his conversation with Ciel, and he guessed himself, except he didn't really make anything out. So, whatever the Nova said he didn't know. With the "problem" being dealt with, and the conversation seemingly over.

Joro yelled to Tsuna, "What?" pointing at his ears, as he was far away.

Before he could get an answer from Tsuna, Joro decided he had no stake in this situation. Considering he had just shown up and wasn't the one to kill the foreigner, he saw that he had no responsibility for whatever the heck Tsuna just did. He teleported away at 170 with more than 30m between them. There was no chance Tsuna could catch him. He teleported home. He had, had enough craziness for one day.

Unfazed and unhurried, Ashborn rose to his feet. He approached the lion with a calm demeanor, undisturbed by its presence. "Where to?" he asked quietly. The lion turned its head toward the direction of the gates. Understanding the situation, Ashborn knew that with both the Vulture and the Gravedigger absent, it fell to him to handle the cleanup of the mess left by Hoshigakure’s enemies.

Arriving at the gates, Ashborn took in the scene before him. He nodded in acknowledgment to Tsunayoshi, Ciel, and Joro, noting the subdued yet significant aftermath of the recent confrontation. "Morning, everyone," he greeted, his voice steady and professional.

With a practiced gesture, Ashborn performed the Ashmaker technique, his chakra weaving through the air to pierce the dismembered body with precise control. As the corpse was restored to its original form, he mentally noted Tsunayoshi's thoroughness. “It’s clear Tsunayoshi didn’t hold back this time,” he remarked, a touch of irony in his voice. “Not surprising, considering Hoshimura steel and all.”

After reassembling the body, Ashborn carefully sealed it and all its belongings into a corpse storage scroll. He ensured the seal was tight and secure, leaving nothing to chance. The scroll was then tucked safely into his equipment, ready to be handled with the appropriate measures for further processing.

Tsunayoshi wiped the blood off his blade, the metallic tang still lingering in the air as he stood over the fallen enemy. His teammates had just endured a thorough scolding. Joro, in particular, seemed to have selective hearing, teleporting away before Tsunayoshi could finish his lecture. If Tsuna had wanted to chase him, he could have easily caught up, but he decided Joro wasn’t worth the trouble at the moment. If Joro couldn’t hear instructions from 30 meters away when others could hear from 100-150 ft, he should probably invest in a ninja tool that could help his hearing.

Turning his attention back to the task at hand, Tsunayoshi called out to Kenchi, who responded promptly. Tsuna couldn’t help but note Kenchi’s impressive speed. That was more like it. Kenchi introduced himself as hailing from Tsukiakari, a coastal town to the southwest of the Land of Haven. Few shinobi came from there, but another one had just arrived.

Ashborn Yamaguchi, a member of the clan known for their distinctive blonde hair and short stature, entered the scene. With precision, Ashborn used a jutsu to reassemble the smuggler's body and sealed him within a scroll. Once finished, Tsunayoshi turned to him with a nod of approval.

" Hey Ashborn, good job, " he remarked. " This is Kenchi, apparently from Tsukiakari. Aren’t you from there as well? If I recall correctly, the House of Yamaguchi used to be the ruling clan there. "

As Kenchi approached Tsunayoshi, he observed with respect and curiosity. Tsunayoshi did not comment, simply sheathing his sword with a smooth, practiced motion. Kenchi was immediately drawn to the blade, which gleamed with an exceptional quality he had never seen before. Its craftsmanship was evident in every detail, the steel flawless and the edge honed to a razor's sharpness. Kenchi couldn’t help but be impressed, recognizing the weapon as a true masterpiece.

Kenchi then watched as Ashborn skillfully reassembled the smuggler’s dismembered body, the pieces coming together with an almost magical precision. When Tsunayoshi mentioned Ashborn’s name and clan, Kenchi’s thoughts turned inward.  Growing up in the Southern Rocks among Iwagakure’s refugees, he had always been fascinated by such tales.

“So this is what necromancy looks like up close,” Kenchi remarked quietly. “It’s impressive, to say the least.”

Witnessing Ashborn’s display, Kenchi felt the weight of the competition. If these were the kinds of influential figures he had to contend with, he knew his work was cut out for him. Yet, instead of feeling daunted, he felt a renewed determination. If the world demanded such extraordinary skills, so be it. He was ready to rise to the challenge with his abilities and prove that he could hold his own even without ninjutsu or bloodline limits.

"That was until your uncle fancied himself as Kage," Ashborn continued, a hint of irony in his voice. Lady Ootsu, ever pragmatic, went along with the power shift, thinking it would secure their future. Instead, it led to rebellion and chaos. In the end, their family lost its governance and now served merely as vassals to the current lord. It was a stark reminder of how quickly power could slip away, leaving Ashborn determined not to let his family fade into obscurity.

He was taken aback by Tsunayoshi's remark. Another shinobi from Tsukiakari in Hoshigakure was unexpected. He sized up the subject upon hearing the introduction. This was a boy slightly younger than himself, with striking green hair and a muscular build that suggested intense arm training. His rough, patterned gi was well-worn but made of decent fabric, hinting at someone who valued function over form. Kenchi carried sharp projectiles, but his sharpest weapon was clearly his piercing gaze.

"Oh, if I were so bold as to assume," Ashborn mused, "I would say he is probably one of those from the Southern Rocks." The moment Ashborn laid eyes on him, he recognized the telltale signs of Iwagakure. Many had sought refuge in the Land of Haven after the destruction of their old village, and Tsukiakari was the first town on their path.

"How do I know, sir?" Ashborn continued. "Well, where I’m from, most folk are so wrapped up in their silks and cologne, you'd think they were dressing for a grand occasion rather than active duty."

With that, Ashborn turned and approached Kenchi. "Regardless, I don't think we've met before," he said, walking toward Kenchi and stopping about 50 centimeters away unless interrupted. "Well met, kinsman. I am Ashborn, a Genin of Hoshi, like you." Ashborn extended an open hand, offering a handshake.

He then thought of his uncle Haegon, a significant but distant figure in his family’s history. Though Tsunayoshi knew little about Haegon and had little personal interest, he was aware of Haegon’s pivotal role in shaping Hoshigakure’s early days. Haegon had trained the first generation of Hoshi shinobi, including the current Kage, Ayato Hyuuga, and the Nova Commander, Akaboshi, during their time in Astral Point Academy. Despite that, both Ayato and Akaboshi seldom spoke of him, even when asked. That left Tsunayoshi with only a vague sense of Haegon’s influence and a lingering curiosity about the man behind the legacy.

Turning his attention to Kenchi, Tsunayoshi noted Ashborn’s keen observation. “ So, another from Tsukiakari, ” he said with a hint of surprise. This connection to his past was both unexpected and welcome. Tsunayoshi took in Kenchi’s appearance—his distinctive green hair and worn gi spoke of a background rich in practical experience.

“ Your deduction about the Southern Rocks is intriguing, Ashborn, ” Tsunayoshi continued, acknowledging Kenchi’s past. “ And Kenchi, it seems we share more than just our village. Welcome to Hoshigakure. I look forward to seeing how your unique skills and experiences will contribute. Feel free to seek me out in the Dojo Yard. ”

As he prepared to make his exit, Tsunayoshi offered a reassuring nod. “ I trust that Ashborn will handle the report, but if you need any further assistance, you know where to find me. My work here is done, such as it was, and I look forward to seeing how things unfold. ” With a final glance around, Tsunayoshi made his way, confident that everything was in capable hands.

As Tsunayoshi prepared to depart, he raised a hand and executed a series of intricate hand seals. In an instant, the air around him crackled with energy and shimmered with a golden light. A swirling vortex of radiant chakra formed, causing the ground to tremble slightly. With a final, dramatic flourish, Tsunayoshi stepped into the vortex, which enveloped him in a dazzling flash. The vortex then dissolved into the air, leaving only a faint, shimmering afterimage of his presence. Moments later, the soft echo of his voice, “ Until we meet again, ” lingered briefly on the wind before fading away.
