A series of positive events.

Sakuran was strolling along the road contemplating her uncles words, make my own techniques, easier said then done. It was clear she had to learn more about the line of jutsus available to her from the clan. She mused along these lines as she strolled down the road. Today she had no missions or tasks from home and decided to explore a bit, she knew her village wel but this part not so much. This part of town was not one she visited much without any reason, it was nice enough all be it a bit old but definitely not without its charm. She was shaken from her thoughts by a loud bark from very nearby.

The source of this interruption was a medium sized dog with black fur, a wagging tail and a playful face. Sakuran smiled and petted the dog while looking around for the owner. She failed to spot one but noticed how she was in front of a very rundown animal shelter. There were quite some holes in the fence and she could spot a couple of animals strutting across the ground. The building itself did not look much better, holes in the wall, chipped paint, an overall dilapidated look to the entire thing. She took the dog by the collar and went inside, and here as well it looked rundown but taken care of from somebody with two left hands.

"Hello? I found this dog wandering outside." She called out, her response was a bunch of papers hitting the ground. "Dog, my dog is ... OH NO KENNY" the dog perked up hearing the name, "Miss have you seen my ... " the woman came round the corner and glared at the dog. "You little sneak." She smiled at Sakuran apologetically "Sorry to bother you with him, he does that at least twice a day." She took the dog and placed it in its kennel that was to say the least, rickety. "I assume you run this animal shelter?" The woman looked up. "Usually it feels like it runs me, a bunch of my animals escaped their pen today and for each I catch and put back another springs loose."

Being a helpful trooper Sakuran suggested to help. "I grew up on a farm miss and know a thing or two about catching animals and getting them in their cages." The lady looked delighted, Sakuran went outside and picked the easy targets first, the other two dogs, simply grab a stick, wave at them and throw it in the kennel, done. The three cats were up next and here she simply out sped them, no use in tricking tricksters. And now for her most formidable opponent yet, the big white Chicken. Approach this the wrong way and you would get mauled in the face, Sakuran knew a trick and took out a cookie and crumbled it, chicken took the bait and Sakuran swiftly pinned its wings to the side. She went back in and delivered her prey, the lady thanked her and Sakuran promised to return to help.

D-rank Mission Central:

Sakuran woke up and did a long deep stretch, today was another day for a mission! She had a feeling what was coming, hoping rather. She got dressed and went down for breakfast. Her family being rowdy as usual and they ate together. She grabbed her things, doubting to leave her weapons today but a shinobi has to be prepared, so she took them anyway. Waving goodbye to her parents and siblings she set off to the ferry.

She had to wait a bit on the shore today for Jack but it happened, she greeted the other passengers and watched the ocean for a bit. She could see the ferry in the distance and started waving at Jack, he waved back and soon she was on board. They talked about the animal shelter she visited yesterday and how she probably will take a mission to go help them out. When they landed she bid him goodbye and ran off to mission central.

Going to the front desk she asked about the shelter and if there was a mission for them, the clerk laughed and handed her the scroll he had set aside, saying she owed him one Sakuran ran off again, eager for her day to begin at the shelter. It was quite a distance but that did not matter, the more she got warmed up now the faster she could do her work. She finally arrived and greeted the woman, Sauzu was a middle aged women that looked far to overworked but Sakuran had a surprise for her later that day.

She decided to start bathing the dogs first since that was one of the biggest task, not all of them would appreciate it but dagnabbit they would go in the pale. She grabbed the escape artist first and brushed him down, there was a lot of loose hair but he let it happen. Time for a bath and he was struggling like you would not believe. Luckily Sakuran was experienced in handling big animals and she wrestled him into the tub, they had a bit of a stare down but ultimately the dog gave in and she got him clean.

The other two were up next, a brown and a beige one. The brown one quite enjoyed being combed down but kept rolling over thinking it was a form of play. It took a while but Sakuran was happy with how much hair was removed and placed him gently in the tub, again the dog thought this was a form of play and by the time they were done Sakuran was drenched. The last dog did really well with brushing and going into the tub, she got him nice and clean and put him with the others, when she did she noticed the black one pawing at the fence, Sakuran had patched this, it was not pretty but it was sturdy that was for sure.

Bathing the cats ... there is a scale of bad ideas and that was at the very top of it, instead she cleaned the cages, making sure everything sparkled and this inspired the cats to groom, she combed them for a bit but more of a playfull thing then actual combing, she did not want them to get jealous of the dogs afterall. Yhen came the one she dreaded. The Chicken normally not an animal you bathe but this one reeked. They are not too intelligent but not dumb either and gifted at escaping.

She tried the trick from before when she fed it then caught it but it had wised up to her deception, unlucky for the chicken Sakuran was a taijutsu specialist, and after a brief struggle managed to subdue the chicken and take her to the tub, there was no other way of cleaning it except to dunk it in there until neck level. The struggle at first was heavy but as soon as it felt the water with its soapy goodness she relented. Carefully pinning it to the side of the tub she scrubbed it down with her hands as not to mess up her feathers. When she was done the chicken went back in its coup and Sakuran laughed, few things look funnier then a drenched chicken.

The dogs were dry by now and Sakuran went into the kennel with her kunai at the ready. She hunkered down and had another staredown with the black dog. She won and started cutting its hair. Not being experienced at this did not stop her and she often would step back and look at her work, after a while the black dog was looking very decent and she placed it back in the kennel. The other two were up but panicked hard when they saw the kunai. She had to spend a lot of time calming them down but she could groom them and slowly cut hair away with the kunai.

The dogs were looking great, the cats needed no trim and what idiot would cut feathers on a chicken. She used some tricks her uncle taught her to make them sit on command but that's the extent of the training she had time for, the surprise should be here soon. She made the all kennels and coups look nice again, fed and watered the animals and went to the front desk grinning. Sauza wondered what was up and Sakuran said nothing she just peeked through the front door. "They are here !" Sauza was confused but a few moments later her brothers walked in together with some neighbors.

Sakuran had asked her brothers to check if any of the neighbors wanted some pets and boy did they had a good response, eight people showed up and in the end all of the animals were gone, Sauza was over the moon because now she had room to bring in others. She thanked Sakuran as she left with her brothers. Sakuran hugged both and thanked them for their help, what a great family! She took her brothers to mission central to report her mission and went back home with them.

E-rank Mission:

Sakuran was up quite early today, it was time for another mission, after getting dressed she went downstairs for some breakfast. Her family was as rowdy as ever and she listened intently as she ate. Sounds like a lot was going on at the farm. After breakfast she ran out to catch the ferry. It was just her and Jack on the boat and they talked about all sorts of things, mostly about his regular customers. They landed and Sakuran started to run to mission central wondering what she was doing today, she greeted everyone while she selected a simple mission.

The Painters guild had a request for cleaning, not afraid of a little work she took the mission. It had a little map with directions so she instantly set off. When she got there she presented them with the scroll and the lady at the front desk showed her to a guy named Rick, he looked more like a paint stain that could move, there was not a color under the sun that was not on his clothed somewhere. She introduced herself and Rick showed her around on where to find cleaning supplies and what she was supposed to clean.

She was thinking about where to start and settled on the buckets, made sense because this way she would have clean ones for rinsing. Sakuran suspected it had been a while since this was done because the paint peeled off in literal slabs. She continued digging the paint out of the buckets until she had several stacks of buckets ready to help in her work. The brushes were a lot easier to clean simply because they were better maintained. After cleaning them she spread them out on a tarp outside for drying while she tackled the rest.

She collected all of the trays and covered them in cleaning solution, she had a fee this would go the same as the buckets. And she was right because she was able to peel entire chunks off. The work was nitpicky but as she looked at all the clean trays she felt kind of proud, Sakuran laid these outside with the brushes. The ladders were up next, taking a sponge and soaking them in solution, by the time she had soaked them all the first was practically peeling itself. She made sure the looked nice and put them outside with the rest.

Gathering a bucket of white paint die started giving all the painters material a cool white coat, each on one side and by the time she made her rounds that side would be dry and she could do the other side. She strolled around a bit while waiting for everything to dry and when it did she neatly put everything in its place again. She made her report to Rick who was very pleased with her and went back to mission central to hand in her report. The day was done but she felt grimy so after a short hike she arrived at the statue of Xyxer and took a bath in the ocean. Floating there she wondered what her place would be in history.

D-rank Mission Central:

Sakuran woke slowly today, as she stretched she thought about all the missions she had done, recently she was on a roll. Speaking of which she rolled herself out of bed, watching the sun break over the horizon with a sleepy head. She slowly gathered her clothes and put them on. Brushing her head she yawned quite hard, she did not know what it was today but waking up was a challenge. She slowly stomped downstairs, her mother was already making breakfast and Sakuran took a seat at the table. Slowly her family got seated, everyone looked tired. Must be the fact that it was so warm during the night, could not get a bit of decent sleep.

She gathered her things and started walking to the ferry, the sun was slowly rising, Sakuran started to run, maybe pumping her blood would wake her up a bit. It was helping, the fresh air in her face certainly helped. She saw the dock in the distance and quickly stood on it, Jack was not here at the moment but he soon should be, the trip was not that long, She did learn water walking as part of her chakra training recently but she did not feel like it today, besides it was fun to talk to Jack.

She saw him coming in the distance and waved, Jack waved back but also did not have his usual vigor. The boat arrived and Sakuran boarded, both of them instantly complained about the weather, heat was ok during the day not at night. Sailing the boat on the ocean helped a bit however, she started to wake up in earnest now, her energy somewhat returning, the boat landed and she said her goodbyes, walking towards the mission central, she had time to spare, she closed in on the mission central, opening the door she greeted the clerk.

"Good morning Sakuran, i have a follow-up for you from the painters guild, they were quite happy with you last time." Sakuran took the scroll. "Thank you, i will do my very best." She made her way to the Painters guilld and soon arrived. She noticed that the building was not in the greatest of shapes. The man at the front desk recognized her and allowed her to proceed, "Rick should be in his painting room again." Sakuran nodded and moved down the hall. There were not many people out and about, must be working somewhere.

Sakuran saw Rick pouring over a sketch book, "Hey Rick, got your mission." he looked up at her "Oh hi Sakuran, sorry i was thinking about a design i wanted to do for a town house where i will be working in a few days." Sakuran nodded "That is alright, what is it that you wanted me to do, the scroll said to show up but i did not get many details." Rick closed his sketch book and stood up. "I would like you to strip the building and paint it again, you can even put on your own design." Sakuran looked a bit surprised "Do you not have people more qualified? This is a painters guild after all." Rick chuckled. "Art is about taking chances and this is us taking a chance on you."

They moved outside and did a tour on the perimeter, the paint was chipped in places but it did not look that bad to Sakuran who was mildly panicking because she was no artist and making her own design would be next to impossible. They talked a bit about things she could do and how she could strip the building. Rick left her to it and she floundered around a bit, the lack of sleep was not helping but she went to the shed and started getting the materials together. She took a ladder and some scrapers and climbed the side of the building.

Sakuran started the monumentous task of stripping the building. The construction was not huge but it was large enough to occupy her for several hours, Sakuran had no intention of doing a half job even though it made very little sense to have a ninja paint the building that houses an entire painters guild. In any case she continued stripping the building, making sure she did a proper job in stripping the walls. She made sure to include windows, part of the gutter and banisters. She made another tour to make sure she had stripped it all.

Still lacking any inspiration she decided just to get started, if she painted it all white as a base coat then she would still have every option after that. It was slow going but basic logic dictated Sakuran started at the top and slowly work herself to the bottom. Like in all things she took her time in doing it right, making sure she got every nook and cranny. The windows and the banisters took quite some time, she took care not to spill any paint and to make straight edges and smooth paint strokes, she sighed, not looking forward to the next part.

Sakuran decided to make a beach front, if they did not like it then they should not have given her this much freedom. She started with blue for the sky going all around the building making sure there was a nice fade in it, she would decide later where to put the sun, after she finished the sky she started on the beach. She did her best bringing some depth to it but this is the first time she painted anything like this. Adding trees she started seeing this coming together. There was one side facing the road with a single window and she had a stroke of inspiration.

She started painting the First Mizukage, Xyxer Gyojin and tried to make it inspire fear and awe in the hearts of all who behold it, on the bottom she included the caption "Remember and respect the old ways." She presented her work to Rick who liked it a lot and went back to mission central to report on a mission well done.

D-rank Mission Central:

Sakuran woke up a little late and rushed to put her clothes on and brush her hair. Going downstairs she was greeted by a family halfway through their breakfast. Taking a seat she joined the conversation about a new barn, jokingly saying this was an D-rank mission at best. Her brothers said they would be great ninjas specializing in barn building if that was the case. She made sure to eat a lot because she did not know what the day would hold. after helping clean up she gathered her things and started with her morning run to the ferry.

She got lucky, Jack had just docked the boat and she hurried to get on, Sakuran told him about the painting she did at the painters guild of the first Mizukage and hoped she did it well. Jack said he would make a point of going by and having a look at it later today. The boat started sailing over the ocean and they were at the main island in no time. Sakuran said goodbye to jack and started running to mission central, the road was quite busy today and she had to weave around people a lot more then usual not that she minded this.

At a slight run she had arrived at the mission central, She greeted the clerk and he already had the scroll in hand. "I swear i can set my watch on your arrivals, Sakuran." She laughed and took the scroll. Reading it she saw that her mission today was to help out a Tea shop with various tasks. She studied the small map and realized she had seen the shop before, pocketing the scroll she headed out to the tea shop. The streets were pretty busy and she could not run unless she wanted to be rude to a lot of people, after a while she saw the shop in the distance.

She entered and a lady asked if "Hello Miss. are you expecting company or want to sit alone", Sakuran showed her the scroll "I am here on a mission to help out the shop." The lady beamed at her. "That is great news, recently we have been postively swamped." She led Sakuran to the back where a young boy was stacking boxes. "This is Mardur, he is my nephew, helping us out a bit, he can get you up to speed as i need to return to the front." Mardur was maybe thirteen years old.

"Hello Miss, I was told they would get someone to help organize this all, did not dream it would be and actual ninja." Sakuran tried not to laugh, "Thank you, show me what we have, all of the stock and all of the areas that we can use for storage." Mardur replied "Right down to business, please follow me." Sakuran was shown two back rooms, one had a big barnyard style door where they most likely took deliveries. The two rooms were spacious enough but a lot of boxes were half opened, most likely by someone trying to find something.

Sakuran looked around for a bit, she needed to have an inventory but more then that she needed a proper plan. "Mardur where are your delivery logs and accounting books." The boy looked surprised but did what he was asked to by,Sakuran poured over the books to form a picture of what went out on a weekly basis since their deliveries came once a week. Slowly but surely she was forming a picture of what they needed on average and that was something she could work with, she closed the books and went to Mardur to initiate the next phase.

Now it was time to get busy. She pulled as many ppl as she could from the front of house and set them to work in the storage rooms, Everything had to go outside, she assigned two people to organize the boxes as they dragged them out so they would have all the same products together and at the same time had a cleaning crew inside to make it into a proper warehouse. Every rack had to be clean and the floor made spotless, all the spots got a number and a master list was created.

There was a huge dust cloud coming out of the area and Sakuran stood in the doorway doing  whirlwind kicks in succession to help the air get out. Mardur was detailing every step on a notepad so he could do this as well one day. Once everything was clean and an inventory was made she gave everyone a break so she could organize. Sakuran went over the list to find the items that had not sold well for a while and put them on a separate list so the people in charge could decide to keep it or discard it, She called everyone in again.

She took the most used items and ranked those, setting them closest to the door of the front house and assigning everything its own place while using their ranking to have the most used item close and the least the furthest away, she made sure to leave room in between so when new deliveries came in they would have a space with the correct item. Double checking the quantity they came in and leaving enough room for an accidental double delivery to not spiral this warehouse out of control again.

It took a while and the shop had already closed for the night but slowly everything was taking shape. The people who worked there did not mind a bit of overtime and saw the value of having it organized and not searching twenty five minutes for every little thing they needed. When the finally finished the lady if the house made them some tea and Sakuran could explain how it all worked, she even put all the symbols they use on a sign at the storage, They thanked Sakuran and she told them she would be coming back if they have her. Gathering her things she finally went back to mission central and then homewards.

D-rank Mission Central:

Sakuran woke up to the slight tapping of a bird on her window,
She had left some snacks out that she did not finish last night.
Taking some crumbs and opening the window she dropped some near
the bird. It tjirped happily after it had done eating, Sakuran
looked out to the horizon, time to get started. She got dressed
and went downstairs to eat with her family. They were lively as
per usual but Sakuran had her mind already on her mission. When
they were done and cleaned everything up she gathered her things
and left for the ferry.

The sun was rising and Sakuran was running to meet Jack the ferry
man. The ferry was not busy today and she talked to Jack about her
family, in particular her uncle who trained her to use her White Ray
advanced element and taught her the White Fang fighting style. Jack
listened intently but likely had no idea what she was on about.
The ship docked and Sakuran said her goodbye to Jack. She was hoping
that the teashop asked for a follow up mission and they had requested
her, they were good people to work with. She arrived at mission central,
she greeted the clerk and he smiled at her while handing over a scroll.

"You left a good impression, not five minutes after you made your report
the request for the next came in and asked for you personally." Sakuran
was grinning, this was going to be a fun day. She took the scroll and
headed off to the tea shop. The road was quiet so she was able to run
straight from mission central to the shop. She entered and greeted everyone
whole hearted. The front desk lady welcomed her and said that today she would
be working with Iroh, the shops general manager. She introduced them and
left for her post, Iroh looked her up and down "So you are the one the boy
could not stop talking about, i checked your work and it was very well done."

"Thank you sir, i hope to be of service again today." Iroh laughed."How
polite you are, lets start off by restocking the front, you know where
to find it HaHA" She got a clipboard and started noting everything that
was missing then went out bqck to find it all, she had to make several
trips to fill her box but soon she was confident she had it all and went
up front to fill up the racks. She filled in two rows and noticed how the
rest of the stock was very neatly folded before put in the rack. She emptied
her racks and spend a few minutes trying to learn the shops technique.

When she had found the knack she worked at her top speed to get everything
folded and stored. The bisquits and sweet breads were also stacked neatly
and she did her very best to imitate how the general manager had organized
them. It was not possible to not spill any crumbs but she had the good sense
to grab a cloth and clean the surfaces. Stepping back to inspect it all
she was quite happy with her work and cleaned away the box she used.
And offcourse to fill in the warehouse records eerything she had taken
so that Maruda could order when stocks became too low. She was still very
proud of her work back there.

Iroh called her over to the counter, "If i did not know any better i would
have thought I had filled these up myself" He slapped the table
"Very good work, wish I had ten of you. Now lets see how you do behind
the counter." He showed Sakuran how they did orders, what symbol stood for
what kind of tea, another symbol for the sweet and yet another one for
special considerations, it did not take long for Sakuran figured out this
would be complicated and wrote it all down. Iroh explained the difference
between the colours used for the symbols qnd hoz they rqted on urgency.
Sometimes a client was in a rush and they would accomodate them for it.

She did this for around half a day and in the afternoon she was asked to
do some deliveries. Iroh explained their system but it was not so different
from working at the counter. Follow the code, put it in the bag, fill up a
special container for the tea and make sure to get there quick and come back.
Sakuran recieved a pile of standing orders that she had to do first, wasting no
time she made the first order and dashed out of the door, she had been inside
all day and relished the fact she could stretch her legs and just run again.
She continued to deliver her orders and even had time to sit dozn for tea
with Iroh where they discussed all sorts of things related to the shops or ninjas.

They got quite a bit of new orders in as well but Sakuran was very much up to
the task and delivered them with a smile on her face. She even deliverd some
to an old teacher of her at the academy and talked a bit about her being a genin
and what kinds of missions she had been on, they had a fez laughs and she
returned to the shop, right in time it seemed for rush hour. It was so busy
she had to restock the shelves again while working the counter. Orders were coming
in as fast as they were going out and that was saying something. Iroh had worked up
quite the sweat trying to deal with every little problem as it came up but Sakuran did
her best to assist him.

The day was coming to an end and Sakuran was quite worn down together with the rest
of the staff. Iroh thanked her for her work and filled in her report, She left for
mission central happy with another job well done.

D-rank Mission Central:

The night was nice and cool, Sakuran slept like a rock. She already knew her next mission was at the tea shop as well, a day of helping out her friends was a good way to spend time. She got dressed and went down to eat, talking to her family about the shop they ate well and cleaned the table together.  She grabbed her gear and said goodbye to the family and started running to her favorite ferry man. She had to wait a little while for Jack to arrive and when he did she told him about her day at the tea shop yesterday.

They slowly rode the ocean having a good conversation and as the boat docked Sakuran said goodbye and went to mission central She got to the mission central and got her mission, traveling to the shop went by pretty quick and as she entered she greeted everyone and started working the counter with Jiroh, the day went by pretty rapid and as the afternoon went on Sakuran went on deliveries and when she did a pretty big round she came back to the stores in shambles, Joroh was shaken and the patrons explained the place was just robbed.

"Do not worry, I got this" She dashed outside "The robbers, where did they go !?" An old man shouted "North, wearing red vests and black hoods!" She jumped a clean fifteen meters on top of a building and headed north like the man said, moving along the rooftops it was not long before she saw two hooded figures running through the streets pushing people over as they made their cowards retreat. Sakuran jumped a few more times to close the gap and when she saw a clearing she jumped from the building back on the street. The men looked back and started to panic.

A young girl with a loose white hair flying everywhere had just landed on the middle of the street with a determination in her eyes that would melt steel. "Fuck Fuck FUCK, Greg fucking move, just a bit further." They increased their running speed and went down an alley, this suited her fine, the further she was away from people and their property the less she could care about wrecking this weaklings. She gave chase through the alley way and saw them round another corner and with a quick jump she landed a good ten meters behind them as they rounded another corner coming out on a nearly empty courtyard.

A group of six men stood in the middle with the other two panting with their heads between their legs pointing at her. A fairly large man was laughing "You idiots were running from that ? Deal with that boys." The five men around the bigger one moved towards Sakuran. She assumed her White Fang Fighting stance, not waiting for the men to come to her she charged straight in, with full force she jumped towards the closest one and hit him square in the jaw with her knee feeling it break against her leg.

She pushed off on the first to grab one by the head and using her speed to spin around him holding his head smashing it to the ground as her forward momentum drove her forwards, she landed behind the three forward attackers and as they closed in on her she dropped down and did a spin kick knocking two down on their asses as she came up from the spin she used it to combo straight into a roundhouse kick going full force into the last man standings chest.

The two who were knocked down and tried to get up, with a quick little hop she jumped towards them with knees raised and as she came down Sakuran kicked down to break each of their calves when coming down. The men let out a bloodcurdling scream, calmly she faced the big man and the two panting robbers, visibly disturbed he pushed both of the men towards her. "Fucking get her!" with a slight panic to his voice and sweat rolling of his face.

These man charged her with no plan and that would cost them, she jumped to the side and when the first man was in range she fluidly did a front flip with her left legs knee raised to her chest and the other fully extended giving him an flying axe kick straight on his nose, blood spurted from his face as he was send flying back. As she landed on her feet the other one raised a fist but in the motion to do that Sakuran had already punched him in the throat, followed up with another punch on the midriff and as he bend over gasping for air she launched an uppercut that knocked some teeth loose and send him sprawling on his back.

The big man found his resolve "FUCK THIS!" And charged at Sakuran, she returned the favor and charged him as well, and at the last possible second went into a slide underneath him and giving two strikes on each inside of his thighs, groaning in pain the man turned around as Sakuran got to her feet. He tried to swing at her with his right fist and Sakuran blocked it with such ferocity the impact broke his wrist, holding his hand screaming in pain Sakuran moved close putting her arm underneath his arm while having her hips rotated against his pelvis for leverage and with a mighty grunt she tossed him over her side slamming him on the ground knocking all the air out of him and finally knocking him out.

She collected the money the men had looted and every valuable they had on them to compensate the shop for the inconvenience. She found some rope in a nearby rundown stall and tied the men up together. She left the groaning writhing mass of men and once on the street found some guards to arrest them while she went back to the shop to return the money, she got back to the shop and entered it while holding the bag of money with a grin on her face. "I got your money Jiroh, the robbers and friends are being arrested." The tea shop cheered and Jiroh hugged Sakuran "Thank you so much."

He looked in the bag and saw that she had added some more stuff, before he could ask Sakuran said "I took what was on them and their friends to pay for any damages and the inconvenience"  Jiroh laughed hard at this "My joung genin friend you have a lifetime of free tea ahead of you every time you visit this shop.I could not thank you enough." Sakuran stayed for a while but when the shop closed she left for the mission central to give her report and finally head home with a little spring in her step.
