Chakra Training
Tue Mar 27, 2012 5:49 am
Syrus stood in the forest. He was about to begin his training for the day. Today he was going to train his chakra, and attempt to use his byakugan for a longer period of time. Syrus jumped on to a tree branch and sat on it. He remembered from his studies that he could learn faster if he used his clone jutsu. Syrus made the hand signs for the jutsu and clones of him appeared. "Alright," he thought to himself, "Let's do this!" Syrus closed his eyes, focusing his chakra throughout his body. He felt the chakra moving up to his eyes, and as he opened them he shouted, "Byakugan!" The veins near his eyes popped out while his pupils dilated. His visual senses dramatically improved. He could see his chakra flowing through his clones. He kept focusing his chakra, but it was becoming hard to keep it up. He looked over and noticed that one of his clones had disappeared. He still wasn't strong enough to maintain his clones and keep his Byakugan on at the same time. He knew he had to try harder. He focused harder and harder, but still the clones were disappering. He stopped using his Byakugan and released his clone jutsu. Syrus sat back down and started questioning himself, "What am I doing wrong? There has to be some way to make this work." Syrus then jumped down from the tree and went deeper into the forest. He came up to the river, it was time to test his powers again. "Shadow Clone Jutsu!" Syrus shouted. Two copies of Syrus were standing on either side of him. "Byakugan!" they all shouted. He could again see the chakra flowing through his clones bodies. He looked down and focused his chakra down to his feet. He slowly walked on to the river hoping not to fall through. "So far, so good," he told himself. 10 minutes passed, then 20. Everything was going well and Syrus was still maintaining his Byakugan. He looked over at his clones. He noticed that they were still maintaining his chakra. This was a good sign. Knowing that he could maintain a shadow clone while the Byakugan was activated was an achievement that he had strived for. But for how much longer could he keep it up? The river was flowing slowly, giving him a chance to run on water while maintaining his Byakugan and shadow clones. He started running upstream. He started gaining speed, barely feeling the water beneath him. He was starting to grow tired, when one of his clones fell into the water disappearing. He kept going, feeling himself getting stronger. He had used up quite a bit of chakra and was growing tired. His last shadow clone had finally fallen into the water and disappeared. Syrus lost his focus, and control of his chakra. He fell into the water. He quickly swam to the bank of that river and pulled himself out. He lied on the bank of the river catching his breath. He smiled saying, "Finally got it down." He got up and slowly walked towards the village. Another successful day of training.
