Kurisu's Summon Training Empty Kurisu's Summon Training

Thu Jun 21, 2012 11:17 pm
He had only recently used his blood to sign a contract with the Tigers, he only had permission to summon one of the Tigers, but it was one of the most powerful ones out of all of the Tigers, Raiju. He and Raiju had a somewhat rocky relationship, as Raiju only accepted him because of his power and status as the Raikage, but Raiju did not personally view Kurisu as a friend or true ally and therefore lacked a certain amount of respect. Today he hoped to change that, Raiju had once told him that if he could prove himself as truly being a powerful warrior of Lightning, then he would in fact respect him. So he had to actually spar against Raiju and prove himself.

Biting into the end of his left thumb, he drew out a small amount of blood, which he wiped across the small contract seal located on the palm of his right hand. At the same time he made a small set of hand seals and slammed his right hand down on the ground and used the Summoning Jutsu, focusing on the image of Raiju as he did this and focusing his chakra into the summoning he brought forth the large white tiger under his form. In a poof of smome he was standing on the top of Raiju’s head looking around at the mountains that made up Kumogakure no Sato, the village hidden in the clouds.

“Oh, you’ve summoned me again.” Raiju coldly growled. Raiju didn’t hate Kurisu, but didn’t understand why he had to be partnered with Kurisu even if the man was Raikage. “You still haven’t shown to me that you even truly deserve to summon me.” Raiju growled.

Kurisu jumped off Raiju’s head and landed on the ground in front of him. Turning around to face the tiger, he looked into its Icy blue eyes with his own icy blue visage. “I hope to change that. Not just because I want to summon you to help fight, but because I would like to become friends with you. It’d be nice to have friend who isn’t looking to gain anything from me.” He calmly said, making the last part of the statement clear as to make sure Raiju understood that they could become friends. Most people Kurisu dealt with only wanted to be close to him in order to get something they wanted and to use his status as Raikage to further themselves.

“Do not assume that we are close, I am only here because my Master, Raiden, told me that I should list to your summoning request. How do you expect to even prove yourself to me?” Raiju questioned at Kurisu.

Kurisu tilted his Raikage Hat up, and continued to look at Raiju’s icy blue ocular. Within seconds his own eyes took on a drastic change, with the pupils of his eyes constricting and the iris part of his eyes becoming patterned with lightning bolts. This was his Kekkei Genkai, his Doujutsu, The Kenseigan. “You told me that the only way to prove myself and earn your respect was to prove myself as a true warrior of lightning. Well, here I am.” He boldly claimed, hoping that Raiju would start to respect him just for this but also so that Raiju would accept his challenge so that he could truly prove himself. “Whenever you are ready.” He finished, preparing himself.

Raiju eyed the male that was the Raikage, a powerful title indeed but meaning in the world of the Tigers. This was different though, he noticed that Kurisu was trying to prove himself as one with the lightning and become a true lightning warrior, which was something that Raiju could in fact respect, if it were true. “I’m almost surprised that you remembered that, most people don’t even care to listen to what I have to say.” Raiju remarked, noting the hint of respect he now had for Kurisu because of the man actually listening to his words. Most shinobi that had tried to summon him in the past never gained an ounce of respect and never cared to listen to his words.

Kurisu leaned his head down and then looked back up at Raiju. “Well, I am different from most shinobi, I don’t want you just for your power or help, like I said, it may be weird to some since you’re a tiger, but I want to become your friend. I want someone to hang out with that I can trust and rely on. What’s the point of having a friend to talk to if I don’t listen to what you have to say?” he asserted, making it clear that he truly wanted to be friends with Raiju, he didn’t want a summoning just to use it as an attack, no he wanted to be able to have a companion that he could talk to without worrying about being asked to do something as the Raikage or something along those lines.

Raiju was somewhat taken aback by Kurisu’s claim, he didn’t believe it at first, but the male spoke with such clear and assertive confidence about the statement that he truly felt as though it were true. A man and a Tiger becoming friends, not just a Summoner and its summoned beast to use as a weapon. Even though he had begun to finally respect and accept Kurisu as the person who has the right to summon him, there was still the matter of proving that Kurisu was in fact worthy of doing so. Clearly he had the chakra to perform the summoning and had a special doujutsu of some type, but only sparring would truly prove the point. “Alright, well then so called Raikage, prove to me that you are a warrior of lightning.” Raiju roared, lifting its right paw into air and covering it with lightning. In an instant he had slammed his paw down on top of Kurisu.

Kurisu realized that he needed to act quickly and not let the fight drag on in order to truly prove himself to the tiger. He needed to show that he was on the same level as Raiju and do it quick enough to make Raiju fully understand and accept the fact. He quickly used his Raiton no Yoroi, in an instant lightning chakra roared from every cell in his body and formed a clock of lightning around his body. He felt his muscles tighten up and strength, his body movements felt much faster than before. He raised his hands up and blocked Raiju’s paw, his body being forced downward as if it were about to be crushed, but his Raiton no Yoroi protected him from possible damage and increased his strength enough to hold Raiju’s paw in place. “I told him, I am a true lightning warrior and I am not gonna let you crush me so easily.” He asserted to Raiju, lifting his arms further into and the air and throwing Raiju’s paw off his body. Quickly he jumped forward, kicking rocks off in the opposite direction from the force of his jump and the speed that was behind it. He flashed through the air and put his right elbow out forward, aiming for Raiju’s chest.

Raiju was surprised at his paw being stopped so easily by Kurisu, most the time that was enough to make the person that had summoned him stop talking, and in some cases he had nearly killed some of the people. Perhaps Kurisu really was different he began to wonder, moments before Kurisu had made his attack. The attack was too fast, he was too big to avoid the attack and it seemed that Kurisu had nearly doubled in speed. He was sent flying backwards from the impact of Kurisu’s elbow hitting his chest. It seemed as though his strength had also doubled, which made Raiju wonder if Kurisu had truly become one with lightning and was the definition of a lightning warrior.

“I really don’t want to hurt you anymore than I have to. Is that enough for you to at least accept me so we can try and become the best of friends?” Kurisu asked with a small smile on his face, he hoped that they wouldn’t have to actually fight. Maybe the attack he used was just enough to prove himself worthy in Raiju’s eyes and that way they would not have to actually hurt each other.

Raiju gave a light little rumble of a growl. “Alright, there is no need for me to hurt you. You have earned my respect and we’ll see about becoming ‘friends’ since you do seem to actually care.” He said acknowledge Kurisu as his summoning master and accepting the idea of becoming friends. “For now, since we’re ‘friends’ that means you’ll listen to my requests. I’d like to go home and rest for a while; perhaps you could come to Mount Hyakurai and visit with me and the master sometime. There is something I think we could teach you that would be of great use.”

Kurisu gave a very sublte sigh of relief. “Alright, you don’t have to ask, you can just go whenever you like, but yeah I’d love to come see Mount Hyakurai and visit with you at your own home. Just let me know ahead of time, I’m still the Raikage and it’d be irresponsible of me to just up and leave without a word, but I can always find time for you, Raiju.” He said, accepting Raiju’s offer.

Raiju roared loudly and then was gone in a poof of smoke. Kurisu turned around and went back towards the village. He was glad he had earned the respect of Raiju and hopefully they really would become friends, even if Raiju was a summoned tiger it didn’t matter to him, he respected Raiju’s way of thinking and personality.
