He still had some doubt about the situation, but it was the best decision he could make at this point. Although he still had a few things that he needed to take care of before completely leaving Kumogakure no Sato. He watched Teru as she grabbed her clothes and put them on, making him wonder if their conversation was coming to an end soon, then came her one rule that she had mentioned. She didn’t like to be touched, which at first made him wonder if he had come across as a type of pervert but she clarified that she just simply didn’t like being touched. That wasn’t a big deal to him; he could respect her wishes to not be touched, besides what reason would have to touch her at this point. Regardless of her reasons for not wanting to be touched, he didn’t mind it much and maybe the day would come when she’d explain that to him more. “That’s fine, some people just like their personal space.” He said with a slight laugh, a slight temptation to poke her something, but considering she had talked about reacting violently he knew that would be a bad idea, he wanted things to remain peaceful for now.
He couldn’t really find the right words to respond to her statement about her family, while it seemed to be a rather cold point of view, he could understand it. Some people were close to their families and some weren’t, this didn’t opinion didn’t exactly say too much about Teru expect that it did help explain why she was a wanderer though, without much of an attachment to her family made it easier to simply go live on her own, something that he was now wanting to do. Lacking any real ties with someone probably had its own advantages, allowing a person to make decisions for themselves nearly all the time. He barely had any real ties to people, his main tie being to Kumogakure no Sato, but that was mainly there since he had fought to defend the village and becoming Raikage. Her statement about making a friend and letting someone join her in her travels seemed to improve his mood some, especially since that statement seemed to be directed at him as an offer. “If you would be okay with me traveling with you, I’d like that.” He said, making sure that the comment really was directed as an offer towards him to travel with her.
Her question about his scar was a little surprising, but it was to be expected. Not many people asked him about the scar that marred his face. His right hand casually slide across the surface of his face, trailing along the surface of the scar itself as memories rushed into his mind over how exactly he had gained this scar. It wasn’t much of an interesting story; it wasn’t like he had gained the scar in the war or anything as it had happened when he was young. “Oh yeah, this” he said, his right hand finishing its path of his scar and resting back down on the sandy beach. “Not much of a story, really, it wasn’t too long after my clan had been killed. I challenged one of the ANBU to a fight so I could get stronger, I was too young and naïve at the time to understand that I wouldn’t win. I called him weak and tried to attack him, and he didn’t mean to actually do it at the time, but he pulled out his katana to stop my attack and the blade sliced across my face. More of an accident due to my stupidity rather than anything else, I was just angry at the time because they hadn’t protected my family. Now I got this scar as a reminder to not be reckless and think before taking certain actions.” He explained the simple story; so much had happened since then that made that moment seem rather unimportant.
