Teamwork...[Private]

Raito was walking towards the destination that he was given at the Jounin Exams after he passed the Written Exam. "Man I better not die here..." said Raito as he looked around for the underground cave, then he realized that it was underground so he continued his journey and was wondering when he would start. They told him that he would be teamed up with another person who was doing the Jounin Exams. All they had to do was grab blueprints that were somewhere in the cave, then they just had to get the hell out of the cave.

It was cold very cold:that was all Nietzsche could think about as he trudged through the snow towards the igloo village. This was the first time he had ever seen snow in his whole life. He could already tell these Jounin exams were going to be hell. The written test was easy, but these next two tests would be hard. Nietzsche was now decked out in snow gear he got prior to leaving the leaf’s testing center so for the most part the brunt of the relentless wind was dulled, but still the sheer cold seeped through. Supposedly he was to meet another test taker out here though he was starting to lose hope of ever finding him until he saw a humanoid shape in the distance.

Doubling his speed Nietzsche quickly caught up and asked the boy who seemed to be about his age his name: “Hey my name is Nietzsche Mizushima. You wouldn’t happen to be Raito Yamaki would you? I have been looking for him for what feels like forever. I am supposed to be completing a test with him.” Keeping pace with the other ninja he waited for a response. While waiting he also scanned the area looking for a clue as to where this cave would be.

Raito then turned his face to face the boy. Raito's black hair had suddenly felt like they had gone white. Raito was normally used to warm and sunny weather. "Yes I am Raito Yamaki! Nice to meet you Nietzsche" said Raito. Raito then turned to the right and made his way towards the cave entrance. He then took out the map that was hidden in his jacket pocket. "This should lead us in the right way..." said Raito as he was unsure to if he should trust the map which could be a trick or follow his instincts and get lost in the snow. He decided to trust the map as he made his way towards the X that was marked on the map. He then found the entrance to the underground cave that seemed like it was used nearly every Jounin Exam. Raito looked at the other teen. "You ready for some action" said Raito as he jumped down the opening.

“Nice to meet you as well.” With the introductions out of the way Nietzsche followed the dark haired boy as he pulled out a map. Then it struck him: why did they only give the team one map? Had Nietzsche not found Raito he would have never been able to find the cave. Finally after a bit of walking and almost getting lost the pair of ninja arrived at the cave. Luckily the snow that usually blocked the cave seemed to have fallen into the cave itself making entering the cave easier. Watching as Raito jumped down into the cave he followed suit and landed on the hard rock cave floor. Instantly he felt a strong heat wash over his body . It seemed that the cave itself was a old lava tube judging from the odd rock formations in the cave that the plans creators used as a safe house.

Taking the lead Nietzsche walked down the cave a ways until it opened up into a small chamber with a scroll on the pedestal. The room felt a lot hotter than the passage way he had just come out of. The scroll was just sitting there: it seemed too easy. Nietzsche decided to ask Raito on his opinion: “This seems too easy what do you think? There has to some type of trap.” While talking Nietzsche walked around the scroll’s pedestal. The heat was getting to him: it was too cold once and now too hot what is with this mission?

Raito landed against the rocky floor and felt his hand get hot. "Thank heavens I never brought along a thick jacket" said Raito as he saw Nietzsche land onto the ground behind him. As Nietzsche took the lead Raito felt hotter as if this place was just next to a volcano. He then fellowed Nietzsche and saw the chamber when they entered the chamber Raito took of his jacket and hung it over his shoulder. "Man this room is hot" complained Raito. He then heard Nietzsche say something. He then answered truthfully. "I think this has been way to easy" said Raito as he walked up to the pedestal and took the blueprints off of the desk. When he did so he heard a clicking sound and saw lava leaking from the four corners of the room. "Oh shit..this was a trick!!!!!" shouted Raito as he pulled Nietzsche out of the room and watched as the room became filled with lava and it was beginning to leak in the passage way. "Bad!!" said Raito as he ran hoping that Nietzsche was following him. He then found that they couldn't climb back up so he looked for another exit somewhere in this cave. "Do you know WATER RELEASE" shouted Raito as he began looking for and exit to this cave.

Sighing Nietzsche watched as Raito took the blueprints. Then there was aloud rumbling and an orange liquidy stuff started to fall from the ceiling. It took him a second to notice that the “liquid” was in fact lava. By that time he felt Raito pull him from the room. Before he knew it he was running down the hallway; not by will, but instinct. He heard Raito yell something about a water release, but Nietzsche knew that the water release he knew would be nothing to the river of lava that now flowed towards them. Yelling over to Raito he had a plan: “Don’t move!! And hold your breath.” Nietzsche ran straight at Raito and made a few quick hand signs- it was going to be close the lava was closing in. The ground underneath Nietzsche and Raito turned into a liquid. Nietzsche hoped that Raito would just go with it, because this would save their lives. He aimed to tackle Raito into the now liquid ground and go right underneath the snow with his subterranean voyage technique. As he fell into the ground he hoped that Raito was right behind him, because the liquid ground around him would not wait up for him. All Nietzsche did now was swim out until finally he surfaced in a spot with little snow cover under a snow-laden tree. He held the jutsu waiting and hoping that Raito would surface. While waiting he looked back at the cave and saw steam rising as the flow of lava instantly evaporated the snow blocking the entrance.

Raito heard Nietzsche say something about holding his breath. He did so and was taken into a water like area that was under the snow. He then followed Nietzsche. He was struggling to hold his breath since he hadn't held his breath for so long in his life. He then surfaced with the blueprints in his hand and the map in his other. He then looked up and smiled at Nietzsche. "That was awesome.." said Rato as he got up and walked over to him and offered him and hand. "Lets get going we have one more exam left.." said Raito with a smirk on his face.

Nietzsche smiled and followed Raito-it was good to see that he got out alive. They had done well. He hoped to meet Raito again he seemed like an ok guy. Overall Nietzsche was happy to be going back to a more temperate climate and finish this hellish exam.
