Ganki's chakra training
Thu Jul 12, 2012 9:00 pm
Ganki had been walking around the village, wondering about just to past the time. He had just learned how to use chidori properly, after all, it was an A rank jutsu. He still however experienced the tunneled vision that tends to occur when he uses the jutsu. But Ganki knew that he couldn’t escape that factor; due to him not have a sharingan to help counter that effect. That is the main reason why Ganki tends not to use chidori, besides that fact that it takes a lot of chakra. Ganki that if he would use that jutsu against his enemy he would to be at risk of a counter that he could not avoid. But Ganki decided that he would take a break from that jutsu. Ganki then remembered that he could also work on his chakra training some more, it would help Ganki have access to more jutsu. With that said, Ganki then set out to go to the training ground woods to help develop more chakra. Ganki then ran to the gate entrance, due to his speed it didn’t take him long to reach there. When Ganki got to the woods of the training grounds, he then went to the lake located in the middle of the training grounds to better attune himself, Ganki remembered how the lake had a calming aura to it. Out in the dense woods and green leafs there was little that could distract Ganki from his goal. Ganki knew that if he was to be a decent cloud ninja, he would be in need of much chakra as he can at his disposal in battle. Moments later, after Ganki had ran deep into the wood, he had found the calming blue lake. The lake had never seemed to change Ganki thought to himself, no matter how many times he had ventured here. Ganki then thought that he could increase his chakra by focusing it to stay above the lake. The cold water was a good medium, by which Ganki then concentrated his chakra. He sat cross legged in meditation style on top of the shallow waters. He then focused chakra trough his thighs and legs so as to stay above water. If he ever lost concentration or was running low on chakra, the cold waters would let him know with a shivering reminder. To further deplete his reserves, he would perform intense exercises and perform chakra consuming jutsu. He would draw just enough chakra to make him pass out but not to put him in any form of danger. Ganki came here to increase his reserves not with dying. Perhaps one day he would have to make the choice as a ninja Ganki thought to himself, but at the moment his mind was filled with ways to produce results .Three hours have passed since Ganki had arrived at the natural spring. He stood calm under the sun and he hungered for some food. To any passerby he would have looked like a monk, ganki was in complete focus, he even started to noticed things about thimself that he wouldn’t have on a regular basis. Ganki noticed that his hair was much longer than his normal shoulder length. It was even unrulier, if that was even possible. His clothes and shoes were worn and torn where he had snagged a tree branch or scrapped against a rock in his run to get to the lake, and some from his self-imposed physical training routines. Then his need for food became too strong to ignore. He only stopped his training to answer his body, to find food. Ganki then quickly hopped from the lake to the grass ground, then that was when his body began to cry. There were times when ganki was so exhausted that he did not know if he was dreaming or actually performing the task that he saw himself doing as if an outer body experience. He had trained his mind to sense when he was starting to be at the limit of his chakra, due to all the near death experiences he had in his other trainings. He would feel the strain his body felt as he tried to produce just an ounce more. Because chakra lines were connected to vital organs, he made sure not to strain it too much. It was not unheard of somebody dying from chakra exhaustion; he remembered that in the academy. Ganki had no plans to be another statistic in that pool, which was a promise to keep Ganki thought to himself. If he was to become a good cloud Ninja, then he should be a living tool for the village that was always free of doubt. However, there were times when doubt started to settle in. He wondered if all this was even working. He did not feel any different. But one is not able to see the small changes because they are just the same as the day before. Only those seeing from the outside, seeing with fresh unbiased eyes can truly say when a change has happened. Ganki also remembered that phrase in the academy outside the wall, etched in stone on a monument. Ganki would just have to trust that the silly rock was correct and that exerting the mind, body and spirit, would lead to a more vast reserve of chakra. Ganki still lying on the floor, then noticed something moving in the bushes. It was a rabbit that caught ganki’s eye. He then started chasing the rabbit that would hopefully be his meal. His muscles were crying for rest but he could not let his first substantial meal in hours escape. The animal headed for some rocks and Ganki knew that if he let it near one of those holes he would not see the rabbit again. Then Ganki thought of sending his (Raiton: Raikyu) - Lightning Release: Lightning Ball at the rabbit, instantly killing the animal. But, Ganki could bring himself to do a horrid thing like that to such an innocent animal. Due to Ganki’s kind heart, he let the rabbit go. Ganki then pressed onwards to the village market in hopes to find food.
