Ascending the ranks. [P;Spar,Navi&Viper]

It is at the third training ground the battle has been set, an old training ground rebuilt to model its old version where many great ninja of old trained to hone their skills.
Viper appears within this field as the sun begins to set, his form swirling in to existence as he stands upon the center of the three logs, the memorial stone behind him, the river located to his right as well as the setting sun, viper facing to the north, his garb has been changed while in his world, his Hokage uniform has been changed out for the Uchiha war armor which consists of blood red plates, upon his back the Uchiha war fan, his hair which has been mostly hidden by his uniform is now visible as is has grown some length in the last few months reaching his mid back and spiking downwards his hair positioned perfectly around his fan as to not get caught, within his eyes is the three tomoe Sharingan, upon his forehead is the Konohagakure no Sato headband, he waits now for Navi to make his arrival.

Third Training Ground.

Navi appeared in a slight blur as a result of the body-flicker technique. The Hokage was facing the North, suited up in an impressive set of battle gear. Navi also noticed the Sharingan in his eyes, a fierce dojutsu that he was more then familiar with from his time spent with the Uchiha clan. He also recognized the three tomoe within them, and realized he would be fighting a true master.

Navi himself had two sheathed blades on his back: a Heaven's Sorrow Ninjato and a Katana. His standard leaf shinobi attire had pouches filled with special weapons and tools. Navi's own eyes were absent of the Sharingan, and were instead filled with an intense determination. His leaf headband was tied tightly around his forehead, glimmering slightly in the setting sun "If we are sparring, Lord Hokage.." Navi began "I am ready".

Viper smirks towards him as he forms out of a blur twenty five meters away from Viper positioned directly in front of him.

[Your position was not stated thus you allow it to be manipulated, specify everything.]

Viper nods towards him softly, his left hand reaches behind him to grip the pole of his fan, the chain and mini scythe absent from the base of the pole as he selects to only use his fan for now, he steps off the log and lands softly upon the ground in front of the log, he speaks once more before battle begins, "I want you to come at me with the intention to kill me, this is the only way I will know if you are skilled enough to be part of my elite guard." With this Viper tugs on the fan, the connectors releasing the fan from storage as he brings the fan around and sweeps it in front of him, a massive gust of wind is produced that makes an even 25x25 meter wall of wind that bursts forth ahead of Viper to buffet Navi with the winds, he decides to start this off strong, should Navi begin to tank the winds through bracing whilst he is insides the winds his fire release chakra flows forth and element changes to become actual fire, once it does the fire instantly spreads mixing with the wind and spreading thus turning the massive wall of wind in to a raging inferno.
During the course of the battle Viper's senses are focused on the entirety of the battle field, his Space Time Migration senses locking upon Navi's chakra signature so even if he gets hidden behind the wall of fire he detects him perfectly.

Navi dashed to the left, focusing small bursts of chakra in his feet. The incoming wind gust would obviously be a preliminary attack, therefore Navi chose not to get caught up in it. Navi didn't stop running off to the side until he completely dodged the incoming attack, giving a buffer of five feet between him and the attack. Navi drew his Heaven's Sorrow Ninjato from its sheath with his right hand and dashed forward, using his speed to his advantage. Navi knew that the Hokage most likely had a huge speed advantage over him. Even so, overcoming the distance between them (about 25 meters) would be completed almost immediately. Navi rushed at Viper, lunging forward with his ninjato in an attempt to stab him in the chest. If Viper successfully dodged, Navi would follow up by aiming a slash across his stomach.

While attacking with the Ninjato in his right hand, Navi began to focus chakra with his left. If Viper tried to counter his sword attacks, he was preparing to strike down the move with the chakra he was concentrating.

Viper's Sharingan takes careful note of the boy, as he takes the evasionary route the flames are unneeded and thus do not appear, his left arm which at this time has crossed his being when the boy begins his dash releases the fan, Viper's right arm rises to meet it gripping the fan pole in reverse grip, Navi at this time now 13 meters diagonally to Viper's right, with Viper being at the center of the wind storm there is roughly 12 meters to each side of him that got hit with the wind, Navi leaving a buffer thus makes the 13 meters to Viper's right.
Viper watches the advance with the utmost detail thanks to his clans eye, his motions perfectly timed, when Navi gets within 5 meters of Viper his speed is truly shown, Viper's form seemingly flickers to all those without the sensory to track him, Viper dashes to the left curving around at high speed to reach Navi's rear, the flickered image acting as an afterimage created by nothing more than raw speed, this leaves no reason for the attack to be changed leaving the blade to sink in to the optical illusion only to pierce the log positioned behind Viper.
Viper's actions are timed in accordance, his form now 5 meters behind Navi swings the war fan once more but this time with his right hand whilst Navi preforms his attack, should his blade by chance not get stuck the winds would act to push him forward due to the lunging stance thus causing him to impact the log unless more evasion is preformed, if the blade is stuck the winds simply keep him in place.
Viper's right arm curls around whilst Navi recovers if his attack goes through, his fan placed back on his back as the connectors grasp hold of it, Viper's hands returns to his side as he takes a step back letting him get his barrings once more should all go as planned.

Navi's ninjato had pierced the illusion of Viper, which faded slowly as it was created by raw speed. Navi's lunge still had momentum and he was carried forward, his sword plunging deeply and firmly into the log Viper was originally standing in front of. For fear of being attacked from behind by Viper's incredible speed, Navi wasted no time and continued using the momentum from his original lunge.He used the hilt of the sword imbedded in the log as a foot hold and leapt over the log, using it as cover. As expected, Viper had attacked with another windblast. Navi took cover behind the log it sheltering him from the wind blast. The log would not only act as shelter from the wind attack, but would also provide him refuge from Viper seeing what he was doing. Navi was fairly certain the Sharingan wouldn't be able to see through solid objects.

Unfortunately Navi's ninjato was now stuck inside the log, and couldn't easily retrieve it. Navi pulled out a hellfire kunai and focused his fire chakra in it, extending the blade. He held the kunai close to his chest and waited for the wind blast to dissipate before he would plan his next move.

Viper returns his weapon to its holster upon the back of his open armor, Viper stands at the ready, "Gather your blade so we can begin again." Viper says in a stern tone, he is not going to go all out against this child for if he were the child would most likely be killed with minimum effort, he instead takes a few steps back giving him range of now 10 meters from the boy behind the log, his eyes take in the details of the blade as he smiles lightly, how ironic that he would face this type of blade, one his brother made famous during the course of his life.

Navi stayed hidden behind the log and created a detonatable shadow that would come out from behind the log instead. He made sure to distribute his chakra with the shadow clone evenly so Viper's Sharingan couldn't see through the trick. "Yes Lord Hokage," the shadow clone said. Navi's clone approached the sword and pulled it from the log, placing it back in his sheath. Instead the clone took out a hellfire kunai, and focused his chakra in the blade to make the blade extend.

The clone rushed Viper, kunai in hand and lunged forward again, aiming for Viper's chest. The frontal assault was a diversion for Navi's main attack. If Viper attempted to narrowly dodge then Navi would detonate his clone to cause explosive damage. If Viper attempted to counter or jump back at distance of ten meters or more then Navi would hold off the detonation of his clone. All of this time Navi remained concealed behind the log waiting for the time to detonate his clone and strike.

Viper's eyes track the mans movements, although the Sharingan can not distinguish which is real and which is fake, his eyes do take note of the considerable chakra drop noting that this man has half the energy that he used to, with this simple bit of knowledge atop his battle knowledge he anticipates a kage bunshin of some form, this increased by the simple fact Navi has not made himself known, an easy trick to see through for one who knows what to look for.
Viper flows his chakra to his right hand, his index finger extends as the rest of his hand forms that of a tight fist, his hand stays at his side, he watches as the man he believes to be a clone lunges towards him, Viper's right hand sweeps upwards as from his index finger fires forth a condensed ball of katon that is roughly in inch in diameter, the blast fired forth at the perfect moment as to when the man lunges putting him in the worst position, the force and speed of the katon cause it to hit the clone in the center of the chest and explode with the force of a paper bomb tag, Viper himself distances himself further whilst attacking in case this clone had some added attribute upon creation, Viper now 20 meters from the log, the clone with the attack should force detonation upon destruction, this brings interest to the Hokage, his right brow rises, how interesting that the child would use his own form of Kage Bunshins against him, Viper moves both of his hands together to form the clone seal, twin puffs of smoke appear one at each flank, the smoke clears as two exact copies of the Hokage now stand along the original, he speaks with a smirk, "If you want to play with clones we can play with clones." He watches as when Navi's clone vanishes it leaves behind Heavens Sorrow due to it not being made with the cloning, the clone at Viper's left makes his way to it his form flickering as he arrives in an instant, he grips the blade in his right hand and sweeps is arm towards the low hurling it in a kunai like fashion as it imbeds itself in the log once more, the clone speaks, "I told you to go all out, this is not that I want to see."

Navi stepped out from behind the log, it was clear Viper already knew he was hiding there. From his point of view he could tell where Viper was, but his view was obscurred by his charging clone. He ran forward a few meters before he would use his technique, quickly attempting to get in range. Navi already had his kunai out from when he was behind the log, as his clone charged forward he wrapped a length of wire around the loop and threw it slightly to the right of his clone. Then using his manipulated shuriken technique, he steered the path of the kunai around his clone and Viper, effectively attempting to wrap his clone and Viper together in steel wire. Navi would try to bring his clone as close to Viper as possible, even if it meant binding them together. Navi tugged on the wire in the instant that his clone was in mid-lunge, and in that same instant when Viper was firing a release of Katon energy. Navi would then pull his clone and Viper together binding them against eachother. If his clone died before he could complete his technique, Navi would proceed as if he were just trying to bind Viper.

Because he was binding/lassoing his clone, it would have dropped the kunai and would now be tied with Viper on the ground. The price of forcing his clone to dodge was immobility and ultimately the loss of his clone. Navi performed a handsign and detonated his clone while it would be binded to Viper, attempting to catch him in the blast. If Viper was able to dodge or get free of the bindings, then Navi would detonate his clone anyway, attempting to do as much damage as possible or at least create a large distraction for the real Navi to enter with a surprise attack. Navi would only not detonate his clone if Viper managed to get twenty meter distance between himself and the clone, while completely dodging the binding.
