The room that Mizuni stood in was quite dark, just barely lit enough by the one hanging light in the room that hung above for one inside to see the details of the room and what it held. A long table stood in front of Mizuni, the corpse of a ninja from the Village Hidden in the Mist laying upon it, arms spread and legs apart. Mizuni gazed down on the body, using both eyes to look down upon it, his mask removed and set down on a smaller table beside him. The upper half of the boy's face was invisible now, unable to be seen due to the darkness that enshrouded it like a cloak to cover the true nature of this boy. Only the lower half of his face from his upper lip down was visible, barely able to be seen as it was lit by the dim light of the hanging ceiling light in the room. The room was one in the basement of Mizuni's home, accessible through a metal door covered by a series of locks that the contractor of the house had built into the door. The child looked towards the head of the corpse, seeing the arrow that was burrowed into the head. He gripped the shaft of the arrow and ripped it out, causing some blood to splat across the wall to the left. Mizuni then removed the metal tip of the arrow and set it down on the table that his mask lay on. Mizuni stood there, thinking deeply and trying to remember the information his ANBU caretaker's had told him long ago. At that time, Mizuni was quite a young child, only at the age of five years old. But it had only been two years, so it shouldn't have been that hard to remember. He thought hard, and finally the memories surfaced.
[Flashback: Two years ago]
The man in the black cloak sat cross-legged in front of Mizuni, who now sat, palms flat on the floor and his mouth turned in a frown at the man. The strange man had taken off his mask and it lay on the carpet floor next to him. The mask was white and made of porcelain, with a strange pattern of the color red painted onto it. The man's hood lay flat on the back of his cloak, his face completely exposed to the vision of others and the sunlight that came in beams through the window behind Mizuni, who the man now gazed at with a look of boredom, his eyes squinted. The man's face was thin and rigid, a latticework of scars appearing across his face. The man had told Mizuni that his name was Gobu, and that he was a friend. But Mizuni didn't believe him. The man had been training Mizuni secretly, telling him different lies to make the training seem like fun games and activities. Most of the time Mizuni even believed it. That was before the man had began to bring dead bodies into the shack that Mizuni lived in and hid them underground. The man had told Mizuni about several things, something about chakra, and somethings about the boy's eyes. The eyes that Mizuni saw in the mirror, those that caused the boy himself to shiver at the image of the eyes that he himself wore. The eyes the man had told him about. Those he had learned to pronounce. They were called something with a funny form of letters. Ri. Nne. Gan? Yes, that was it. Mizuni's eyes had been called Rinnegan. Recently, the man told of legends about Mizuni's "family" those who had also wielded his eyes. He told of the strange and famous abilities that came from infusing something called chakra into the body of other people, strange and powerful feats of accomplishment. But then even more recently Gobu had presented Mizuni with the other people, his friends, that had raised him. At least, that's what Mizuni knew the corpses of those men as. Friends. Gobu had hoped that Mizuni would be able to create some strange objects he rambled about and stab his friends with them. But Mizuni couldn't which made the man angry. But now today was different. The man hadn't talked at all. And suddenly, with a flash of light behind the man, the man fell to Mizuni and "hugged" him, the smell of burning flesh following. And like that it was all gone
[End Flashback]
Mizuni shivered at the memories, but also formed a blank smile. He had remembered, and the most important part he had remembered was all the stories Gobu told him, and what Gobu had tried to make him do. Those memories in mind, Mizuni focused hard within his body, trying to create the black rods he had been told about, black, circular poles of metal that had the special property to control other people's bodies. Mizuni concentrated long and hard, and finally, with a large amount of pain and a sickening noise, several long black rods were expelled from Mizuni's abdomen. He breathed heavily and grabbed the bundle of rods, focusing and trying to push the pain down. He ripped the rods slowly out, and watched amazed as his body had only very very small marks of where the rods had come out, only one being barely able to tell that there had been something ever there. Mizuni threw the pain away and lay the bundle of black rods also on the table beside him, each rod being a different length. He picked up one of the smaller, shorter rods, found the area that he had learned, from studying books in the academy, to be the area where the heart was. Using the slightly sharp end of the rod, he jabbed it into the torso of the corpse lightly and slid down across the chest, opening the chest up just barely. He then turned his head and moved it to where inside the small crack now created, he could see the corpse's heart. Mizuni raised the rod up, and pushed it down into the heart, lodging it in with only a small tiny amount of the black metal showing outside of the body. Mizuni continued to pick up different rods and insert them into the body, putting piercings in the feet and toes od the body, rods all along the body's arms, in the chest, piercings hidden on the nose and sides of the face, only very few visible on the nose to where they were positioned to look like normal piercings. He continued hiding and jabbing rods into the body until he had depleted the source of black metal he had created. Finally, focusing chakra into his hands, Mizuni moved his hands onto the face and over the metal that only ever so slightly protruded from the torso where the heart was. With a sense of conclusion, Mizuni forced his hands down upon the areas he had moved his hands over, pushing chakra into the body. There was a sharp intake of breath shortly afterwards, but not of Mizuni's action. The eyes of the boy reopened, open once more as if awakened from a slumber that had the possibility to be endless. The corpse lived once more, the eyes taking on the appearance of Mizuni's own, and history had repeated in that time.
