What it does:
Using its octopus anatomy, the user increases the elasticity of their tentacles thus increasing their range and striking force. While this technique is active, basic physical attacks used by the user gain an additional range of 20/30/50 and gain a Taijutsu barrier equal to their Impact Force minus (not including the boost from the amplifier). Should a character be hit by one of the user's physical attacks while in this amplified state, the user can choose to either disorient them for one post - making them unable to form hand seals and wield weapons; they must drop their weapon(s) - or knock them back by 10/15/25 meters at a speed and power equal to the Impact Force. Should a character that is knocked back in this manner collide into a terrain, they suffer from additional damage equal to half of the terrain's current health plus half of the speed of impact as impact force damage. The disorienting and knock back effects can be resisted by a character who has a strength higher than 20/30/50.

The user may add 20/30/50 points to the first Taijutsu technique that they use after activating this amplifier. These points can be allocated in any combination to range, power, speed or TB without exceeding the specified limit. This buff is permanent, and the Taijutsu technique will remain amplified until it ends. Should a character be hit by a Taijutsu technique that is amplified with the use of Wrath of Cthulhu, the user may choose to either disorient them for 2 posts, or knock them back at a direction of the user's choice by 20/30/50 meters at jutsu speed and power. The disorienting and knock back effects of the amplified technique can be resisted by a character who has a strength higher than the power of the amplified technique. Amplifying a technique immediately puts Wrath of Cthulhu on CD.

A unique feature of this technique is that users with Taijutsu as their main spec can choose to use any combination of hand seals to perform this technique as long as the required number of hand seals are weaved.
