Training 01

Yuri was idling on free zones thinking about her next training program. She knows her location well given the forced training that prepared her for the worst. Flat land with trees, big **** sun on top, annoying... Yuri seems to be distracted by the weather before flocks of birds flew out suddenly from a nearby tree. Yuri turned around and stopped Maybe i'm just too paranoid. She continued her wander.

500 meters worth of walk after rest made her see a travelling caravan from a few kilometers away. From her past experience, they have to walk into a narrow path to get to the town of her guess. Something came into her mind regarding the recent incident; that very path were camouflaged with bandits recently and seems to be the reason for a few vanished parties which is on the town notices and posters. She barely escaped the bandits due to her current prowess a few days ago while finding out this reason by following the town guards. The guards were all killed. She knew that such matters will be eventually handled by professionals given this level of danger but right now them walking to a trap is a 100% percent. The caravan seems to be heading into the trap in a few minutes. Yuri is 4 kilometers away from them. There was no time to think as she rushes for the group, she could only feel fortunate for the reason why she was able to see them from such distances.

The start of her run meets a snake-like path as she didn't have the time to bother abut details. When giving chase at a scenario like this, she was taught to make shortcuts with the help of tree branches directly above and on the front of her. This proves useful as she jumps onto the nearest tree branch in front, ignoring the first curve. She promptly repeats it for the second one as well. as the first turn of the route is getting nearer, Yuri had no choice but to stray form the original route. The forest just received its supply of water from the skies as the crossing of a muddy area begins. She jumps down from the tree.

She now feels fortunate during the times when she did not ignored the lessons of crossing areas that challenges stability. The critical thing is to apply the chakra control at the right time in order to optimize chakra used for such cases. Yuri charges without fear as mud finds its way on air, slapping itself at anything it lands on. It didn't take long enough to let her sandals lose its friction as she could feel the lack of balance in er running by now. The first skid finds its way towards her as she focuses for an instant to keep herself balanced on one leg and slides for a few meters before making her sprint again. The trees were few and far between during the crossing.

Upon finding the end towards the mud, Yuri saw rocks piling up on each other. Given her normal times, she would take her time to climb them one step at a time. Due to the urgency now, she had no choice but to race up the rocks which turns out to be a hill when she started her first step on the rocks. Its seems to be a few hundred meters towards the summit from Yuri's perspective due to her judgement on amount of time taken for her to decease the steepness of the hill. Her thoughts were all focused on getting up to the summit in order to pass the hill.

Getting up to the summit had taken considerate efforts from her as she pauses and looks down for a moment. The caravan is still in sight and were twice as big as before. There was no time to waste, Yuri looks down and went at her fastest again. She knows that from this point until she makes contact with them, only trees would be left to obstruct her. It turns out to be otherwise.

While running on flat land again, Yuri steps onto a soft ground and only knows of a pit right below when her head was at the same level with the grass. Fortunately, her reflexes catches onto the side of the pit as she takes a moment to climb back up. Within the next 200 meters, she saw a big log swinging its way right into her direction. She guesses that the enemies probably knows of her presence by now. She jumps onto the log effortlessly and removes a predicted explosive tag on the moment of landing, aiding her pace as she could feel the explosive force pushing her. Given her current pace, she avoided another swinging log with a single step on the log and breaking the rope that waited for her to be tripped on. The bandit on watch puts his hand on his head upon the failure to slow her down.

It should be less than a kilometer now Yuri mumbled to herself as she knows that she could interrupt them by now. She was slightly earlier towards her destination when she saw that the caravan had at least 300 meters before heading into the trap. The light in front of her was unblocked, Yuri thinks that a flat grassland is on ahead as she keeps her focus. She noticed a kunai was heading from her right as she did a forward roll when it was close enough to hit her. The kunai hit the tree to her left as the explosive tag triggered itself, catching Yuri off guard. The bandit was on mid-air wit his blade coming down on her well she was on her threes. Her free leg gave a push to avoid the slash, there was no better chance to alert them from needing help which appears on her mind in a second of thoughts. Sadly, her opponent guessed her plan and stops the chase.

As Yuri heads out onto the grassland, she shouted at the caravan with her remaining strength to stop them from advancing. It was a success as she had enough time to get close to them and warn them of the incoming dangers although the choice of routes is still up to them. The end of the dash and warning leaves Yuri panting as she finds a safe spot to rest.

Get Set ! Go ! Everyone ran at the trainer's call. Sprinting as hard as they could, Yuri looked to the er left side. She was shocked to find out that everyone was turning to their sides as well. Try to get in line Yuri, one day we won't have to do this anymore, i'm sure that day would arrive. The boy can only whisper to her to prevent punishment from befalling him. As she looked forward to the touchline before the trees, she prepares to slow down for turning back. It was raining. The kids were told to repeat the action for 30 minutes.

The rain stopped after hours. They were told to climb the mountain as soon as they felt okay, being healed right after being sick wasn't a good feeling. The hand from the person above her held her hand tight right when she was about to fall. Steady , come on Yuri balances herself as others looked at her did and continued climbing. There was an avalanche coming right when Yuri could advance by 10 steps, the group split and moved to the left and right. it took at least half a minute to stand their ground and regroup again. They were halfway upwards the mountain.

All of them moved slowly in a group as they faced minor disturbances along the way which a few of them suffered cuts. The real purpose hidden from them was to eliminate certain enemies hiding the mountains, the kids were sent due to the level of danger. Somewhere less than a kilometer to the summit, the kids walking up at the sides detected incoming presence. They prepared their stance and the others followed suit knowing the posture's indication.

Several swinging logs came out of nowhere from the rocks with each of them prepared with an explosive tag. Everyone had their way to escape. Some fell on purpose and balanced themselves from safe ranges to deal wit the falling rocks. Some rappelled their way up quickly, Yuri did none of both and was nearly caught off guard when her helpful partner threw a senbon carefully and tore the explosive tag to prevent an explosion. Yuri was speechless at his solution. He pats Yuri's shoulder, Let's go.

When they had finally reached the mountain, they faced danger immediately. Multiple clones of the same person were coming at them as they released a large fireball against the kids. There were 10 kids, 2 of them worked together to form an earth wall allowing everyone to move aside before it gave way. They were forcefully split as the charging clones came towards each of them in an one on one. Yuri was prepared just in time when she rolled forward to avoid the flying punch. Next, she turned around and blocked the incoming kick that gave her a chance, not knowing that it was a diversion as she looked to the right and her vision blurred for a short while before finding out that she will fall from the mountain's summit, she grabs on the a tree.

Her safety tree snapped into half to hint her an attack when a spike pierced through a log and cut the tree into 2 from the ground. She got kneed to the face as she landed in her new position. She rolled a few meters out and found herself in air. Everyone was fighting their target, she had to deal with this herself. Everyone had their tools with them, it is impossible to fail. Yuri threw a controlled kunai as the wire helped her to regain her feet on the mountain slope, the clone was just a moment too late to uproot the kunai.

As her battle continued vertically, Yuri was forced into defending due to the versatile nature attacks on her. She failed all her lessons on elemental ninjutsu taught right from the start and was never able to perform one. Not even all the researchers figured her problem. Moving fast vertically is not a proper solution, she had to find a way to get up onto the horizontal ground somehow. She parried an attack out of the sudden as she falls down trying to convince the clone of his victory, her plan was to get out of his sight. She transformed into one of the falling boulders.

The clones and the original were defeated eventually. All other kids had no problem with their clones as they search for Yuri after securing their target. The search was not a success as None of them could find a clue to Yuri. Her chakra was drained and she had to lie on a protruding surface only half of her size and prays for help to come by or her chakra to recover.

She passed out for 3 days since the completion of that mission. Having being recovered by the trainer or face death from heights, she had fell behind from the others and was forced by seal markings in her body to resume training immediately. She went to where all the other kids were and started dodging objects thrown at them. 2 of them used a dome and no problem dealing with such an exercise. Others had their own means as a few of them had their won clones to help them and some had a hole done up fast for them to drop in, saving them lots of trouble as well. The only hardworking one was Yuri who dodged all the objects in all previous exercise due to the disadvantage from her birth. She struggled with her breathe after the kicking the last object on its side.

A fine day for the winds to interact with everything in its way. Yuri enjoyed the soft touch of each droplets being blown and coming down from the sky. The seals that controlled her life faded away with each passing day. When they were used against her, she wanted it to be removed so much that she tried giving up her life. But now, these were the seals that holds her memories. When will we meet? Yuri simply asked herself.

This is your assignment, i hope to see results Yuri had it memorized and nodded her head as she proceeds out of the mission room. Time is of essence as Yuri has to return within a few hours. Past the entrance of the hideout reveals the warmth of the sunlight. At the moment when she made her first step out, she glance at the surroundings and decided to begin from her left.

Yuri's prowess from her disadvantage has allowed her to move through the grasses with the lowest height among the others in her group. As she gets her way around to scan an area 3 kilometers wide, she couldn't feel any intent of a fight. She was doubting the accuracy of her info until she spotted someone struggling to get down from being hanged on a tree from her legs. The victim was shouting for help as she goes forward to free her. Her legs tapped lightly on a soft surface and she backed a few steps immediately. There was no consequence from that action but she had decided to wait for a few minutes in the grass. The victim went quite, Yuri figured the trap instantly as she moves slowly to the back of the tree which holds the victim. She threw a kunai that cut the victim's face lightly. The grass were shredded 20 meters in front of Yuri. She retracts her kunai and found traces of blood, her kunai needs sharpening as well. She headed to the next area in mind.

One of the mentioned location was the bridge that helps travelers to cross the valley easily. Yuri stopped when she was 40 meters from the area. If there is enemy, they shouldn't know Yuri was aware in mind that she was never intended for combat. There sin't much option as Yuri closes into the path in front of the bridge. She paused for a moment and prepared herself as she dashed across the bridge. If there is any resistance, it should show at going back. Yuri was at full speed when she turned sharply and dashed around the bridge again. The bridge blew up the moment she crossed half of it. Yuri anticipated trouble as she jumps and balances herself on the sides of the valley, debris were falling down when someone makes use of the falling objects to make his attack stronger. A wind release backed by the debris with their falling speed, Yuri waited to get in range with the nearest falling object as she made it just in time to get back up the valley and made haste for her next location before her enemy could close in on her.

On her way, she dodged a few shuriken with ease as she did a flat landing on the ground suddenly, causing dozens of shuriken to pass by above her. Voices of being wounded came out softly from the bushes as Yuri gets up immediately and runs to her right and parried a cleaving attack with a kick to the aggressor's grip. She did a somersaulted to follow up on her second kick sending her enemy a few feet backwards on his fours. Her bet was to use the same trick twice so that her enemy will know her intentions which in turn gave her a chance to make her escape. They were no fools as her feet was grabbed from the ground. A long branch was rooted to the ground. Yuri already had a countermeasure when she saw a the requirements at the direction she planned to run to. She grabs the head of the emerged and knocks him out with an elbow attack.

After half an hour, she reached her next area. It seems to be fresh from a battle, bodies were found all over the place along with their weapons that played as their partners while they were still alive. She looked around for any clues starting from their attire, 4 diagonal lines on some of the headbands and a ridiculous amount of dead insects from some bodies. Small trees started their life at some of the bodies as well, she finds it hard to believe what had happened and she saw a few blood trails that ended at certain points. She needs to leave immediately.

Yuri is spying on a group of businessmen from the openings between the wooden ground of the structure. They may look honest when walking in the open, Yuri found out that they were planning take over the entire town starting from the replacement of the security. Money made from transaction were all directed to recruiting mercenaries. They were too many of their underlings around to move. Yuri had to wait for midnight to make her escape.

Her last area was to check on a currently predicted fighting area. She was 50 meters from the scene when the battle happened, it seems that this unified attack was not to her superior's expectations. She had to go back and make her report. Unfortunately, she could not avoid combat when a clone nearly back-stabbed when she did a last minute forward roll a few steps forward saving her life. She jumped onto the clone successfully halfway performing the roll. The clone turned into a puddle of water. She tried making a run again when an explosion behind her was so large that she had a tough time to keep herself balanced when running. She made a crash onto 1 of the escaping fighters on the battlefield. The guy turned around and prepared his blade. He did a simple stab attack on Yuri while Yuri held onto her kunai and tried to do the same. The crash ended in Yuri taking a considerable cut on te side of her gut while killing the guy in the process with Yuri's kunai pierced through his neck from the side. Her journey back to the hideout was slow.

Yuri reached the town's nearest guard post by the next morning to reveal her findings since the chief wasn't around. She earned her keep for a day of meals.

Yuri looked from a distance sitting on a rock as an armored escort guards with their client walking down a road. there were at least a dozen of armored samurais. Yuri wonders the identity of this important person to the extent that ninjas were not hired for this. She was quite confident that these weren't the fighters from the land of iron. It meant nothing anyway, at least not for now This was the trigger towards unlocking something inside her.

Now! a huge wave of water went gushing strange to the first wave of attack. There were 3 dozens of ninja dropouts in front of them, a few were too careless as they got swept away by the wave. Yuri, cover me! as her partner unrolls a scroll and launches 2 dozens of tagged single handed weapons to the ground. Some 15 enemies were coming in their direction as a huge explosion happens on their ground. Most of them dodged the incoming weapons and few were careless for being not able to see the explosive tag. An enemy moved to the front of her partner at high speed with tries to cut his head. It wasn't fast enough for Yuri. She simply steps up beside her partner and punches the enemy's face as the slash missed both of them. Her partner went for the kill as Yuri dodges another attacking which uses body flicker. It was a kick this time as Yuri did a sweep to the standing leg, causing the attacker on his fours as Yuri goes under him and twist his neck.

No new attacker heads to Yuri as she closes on her partner using wind-based attacks to prevent his opponents from attacking with the help of his wounding attacks that increases physical deficiency of them. You alright? Yuri asked as he smiles, there was no time to talk as their enemies didn't stop coming. Yuri was nearly grabbed by the earth when she did a handstand forward to let her legs slipped backwards from the grip. 4 earth pillars surrounded her as she found her the next enemy's location. All the pillars collapsed onto Yuri's location at the next second. A second on ground was enough for her to react as she rushes to the jutsu user and slashes with a kunai. The man turned into a pile of rocks as the rocks blew into bits hitting Yuri as she unbalances. A knife was waiting at her landing spot as she somersaults to jump over him and counterattacked with a needle at her full stretch in mid-air, it was aimed at his neck. The man simply deflected the needle and prepared rocky leg as he kicks Yuri still not on her feet. Yuri was only fast enough to block the kick with her arms as she flew diagonally upwards. The rubble from the previous earth release wasn't far from her as 2 large walls clamps onto a boulder. Yuri rushes towards him as 3 of the same man charges towards her as well. The 4 of them ended up in punches and kicks. Yuri had the ability to evade all of the attacks but was unable to tell the clones apart. As minutes goes by, she found herself trapped and forced into evading as fire attacks joined against her. She glanced around and found herself surrounded by more clone and more clones followed by a gigantic rock smash that threatened all the fighters within the shadow. She had only realized that everything around her was a deception and have failed to come up with any solutions. She thought to herself This is it.

The rock got cut into half by a strong cut of wind as Yuri was the only one fast enough to jump and react to the incoming attack that turned the clones into pile of rocks. Your wandering off too far. We are retreating now. The pair made their run as he slices everything in the way with Yuri following closely behind.

The group was in a bad shape as the 2 returned after shaking off pursuers. One of them had his arm badly wounded and the other was in a coma, only 6 of them was available for combat. Judging from the situation, the group agreed that it would be hard to return back to the hideout since most of them were outnumbered at least 1 to 10.

It was at night past normal hours when the guards were ready as Yuri. All of them were waiting for the chief's signal. The residence was guarded a dozen of personnel outside. Everyone was hiding in ambush as they waited for chief's decision. As soon as he pointed upwards, Yuri threw her given sword from the flanks. One of them had their leg hit as the direction was diverted to her. The Chief had his bow ready for a few seconds as he release the string at the underling that tried to tell others of the danger. His hand swings downwards as the guards quickly move closer to the residence.

The group was on a forced march back to the hideout as they received their warning through seals on their body giving them pressure if they do not. None of them was skillful enough to defy the command. They had no choice but to move back in the dark. Yuri assisted the injured in moving since she had the least offensive combat ability. It took them 2 days to move back due to the messy areas that lies in the fastest way back. The hideout had much more casualties as they were passing by to the control room. Failures... as all of them were immobilized and fell to the ground before their trainers. Everyone saw his bandaged head and thought that he met a mishap. Never mind, just a few more days and i'll have them experience my full power. Take them to the facility, we will have them converted into our part of our strength. Several other ninjas headed in to drag them away immediately. Just a moment before they were grabbed, Yuri and his partner saw their trainer walking away. A droplet landed on the wooden floor he went away.

After a night of pondering at the camp, Yuri woke up and left the guards to their sleep. While thinking that their given priority was to capture the boss alive, Yuri heads out to take a look at the current situation, she could clearly see that majority were considerably wounded as the medics were still busy at this hour. The next day will be better.

Everyone prepared themselves. Anything enemy obstructing was dealt with by being smashed by doton. Everyone were side by side at each other, its do or die. At the command, everyone went on the offense, no one was thinking of any plan anymore. Structures collapsed, order broken. Everyone had survival as their priority.

The battlefield became a mess in seconds. Yuri jumped onto one of the burning roofs and prepares herself. A few minutes was all it takes before the silhouette of a giant took shape and the vision front is a never-ending line of minions. Before the living could even react, some of the faster enemies threw projectiles that blinds the front line of comrades, a few of them became oblivion in a instant as they were engulfed by the enemies. Those who panicked used everything at their disposal to bombard the mass in front of them in an attempt to make way, resulting in rally the group. While the ones still on their guard is going on a counter, the giant turns towards the direction of the charging comrades and raises a sand tide which send the front few of them into air.

Luckily, the leader was still sound. He fought his way back to help the others and collaborated a summoning to counter the current one. Fortunately, both giants were as strong as each other. Tears formed on some of the faces as they did not expect Yuri to anticipate the outcome. Before most know it,they were out from the fighting scene without knowing why the enemies were going in circles.

The leader was shocked at the loss when they heard that Yuri diverted the enemies long enough for the entire group to suffer minimum casualties. They all looked back and did their last respecting bow.

Outnumbered and surrounded. Yuri grabs onto a rooted sword and balances herself instantly after landing on the monster's wrist. Although its Big as it is, its reaction is to be reckoned with as Yuri barely dodges the hit that would squash her and charges at the mouth of the it that emits foul air. Knowing that any chances of defeating it is to win from its insides, Yuri simply could not allow herself to fail as she catches onto anything that helps her and dodges the attacks made by the minions which climbed up for her life as well. Fortunately, as the monster tries to free itself from the itchiness, the minions were easily taken care of as she finally gets close enough to the mouth and jumps.

Right inside is pitch black darkness as Yuri closes her eyes and put years of ninja training efforts to use. The pace of the vile vines were as fast as her as she swings her sword to prevent her from being caught by it. She could sense that the vines gets thicker the further she went and beyond the vines lies a mass of moving force ready to kill her at all times. As she cuts the last of the thicker vines, a door made up of flesh appeared in front of her. Before she had the desire of ripping it, someone on the other side had it done faster as a fight started right inside a room that seems to be the vital organs area where vines take shape to become an enemy and by organized moulding

The organs had an intelligence ally, no? As Yuri wanted to clarify the state of life in her opponent who looked half like the minions encountered outside. The enemy pauses for a second and its first strike were at close to the throat as Yuri could only have enough time to bend her body to dodge it and counter with a kick. Yuri's speed was nothing compared to her enemy's at this moment as it did a roundhouse kick on her attack. Yuri had no choice but to do a somersault. Knowing well that there will be point blank on her side, she slashes as soon as she could without hurting her joints as she lands a few feet behind. Fast as the opponent is, Yuri do not have the time to think as she blocked the next attack with the blade in contact with both of her hands. At the same time, she could sense hundreds of others were closing in slowly. Everything was going wrong as she backs off and slashes lots of vines in an instant followed by a dodge from an immediate backstab which destroyed the meaty roots of some other vines. The area rocked as the monster seems to get unstable for a moment. Yuri did not hesitate to stand right in front of more vines as her left arm got a small cut and in order to make her enemy land another hit on the vines, rocking the monster even more as both fighters were flung to the right side of the room. By this point of time, Yuri could hear even more incoming enemies. As she deliberately gave herself some time to get a grip for her faster enemy to fall for her trap as she grips her blade tightly for the moment. She pierced on the enemy's guts and backs off one final time.

Now!

A single headseal formed as the enemy caught fire and became helpless, the area started burning in a minute bringing the monster to its knees. Within a short span of five minutes everything around her became a scorching structure of hell burning every single thing on its path with Yuri included. As she witnessed her own demise in process, she found herself sinking. Everything after that went white.
