Beginning the Journey (Damalla,Navi and Habee ONLY

Navi stood leaning against the tree with his hands in his pockets, and reading his book, a bored look on his face. As always, fire nation squad meetings would be held on the country borders. For efficiency purposes, the squad was divided equally into two basic teams. One ninja from the Leaf and one from the Sand.

As always Navi wore his standard Jounin attire, lazily flipping through the pages of his book and waiting for the recruits as the sun began to rise.

This time Navi was waiting for Damballa, the cry baby sand ninja who had proven himself interesting near the end of their recent training. As always Navi held low expectations for all recruits, but this one had proven to have an abnormally high chakra level, and had even proceeded to use 2 A-rank techniques.

Habee on the other hand was a budding Uchiha, of where there were plenty. Having only unlocked one tomoe meant he had a slippery grasp on the style at best, and his wind jutsu most certainly needed work. The kid seemed loyal and willing though, and Navi would watch his progress with interest.

Before he started the mission he had a final test with them though, and Navi waited patiently for them to arrive.

Habee was anxiously waiting his meeting with their Team Leader as he ran full speed heading for the Border where they were suppose to meet. He wore his normal training clothes and his signature gloves. This was their firt Team training and Habee couldn't wait. He wondered what Navi wanted with them. When he reached the border he went to the meeting spot. "Looks like I'm on time first one here." Habee said to Navi, "Hey Navi nice to see you again." As Habee likes to be punctual on time.

Damballa awoke early in the morning, so he could get ready to go on one of his first missions today. Damballa ate a large bowl of his most favorite and nutritional cereal. Damballa put on his ninja gear and headband, and immediatly set out to the border. Once Damballa exited his apartment, he started sprinting as fast as he could to the border, where he would meet his other team mate and Navi. When Damballa arrived, he saw Haabe and Navi already at the border talking. "Hey Navi and Haabe!" Damballa said.

Navi closed his book in recognition of both Genin having finally arrived. Slipping the book into his back pocket, Navi looked up lazily, nodding at each of them.

"The two of you will be performing missions together under my command, so I figured it would be best for the two of you to get to know eachother."

Navi smiled as he said the next few words, still not shifting his position from under the tree and instead crossing his arms. "The two of you are to spar against eachother as a final test to determine whether or not you are battle ready. If you are unimpressive, then your headband will immediately be confiscated and you will both be sent back to the academy."

"No pressure though," Navi said with a yawn, "just think of it as a way of getting to see the techniques of the partner you'll be working with. I'm sure you're both just suuuuper talented and you'll each do just fine." Navi said the last part with an intentional amount of doubt and sarcas, in his voice, then took out a book and began reading as if he already lost interest in the two of them.

"You may begin."

Habee was there and then came Damballa he greeted Damballa back and then faced Navi
"The two of you will be performing missions together under my command,
so I figured it would be best for the two of you to get to know
each other." Navi said
"Thats sound good enough." Habee thought to himself. He Damballa working together as they did have a spar once so they will do fine.
"The two of you are to spar against eachother as a final test to
determine whether or not you are battle ready. If you are unimpressive,
then your headband will immediately be confiscated and you will both be
sent back to the academy." Navi said to them. Habee was okay with that just that the last part made him a bit nervous but he was confident they will do fine.
"So Damballa you ready? Lets do this!" Habee said with excitement as he jumped back and loosened his muscles cracked his knuckles and got into a frim stance ready for the spar.

"The two of you will be performing missions together under my command, so I figured it would be best for the two of you to get to know eachother." Navi said. Damballa had already sparred with Haabe once, and it ended with his defeat. Damballa was much stronger now, and was ready to show his best. "The two of you are to spar against eachother as a final test to
determine whether or not you are battle ready. If you are unimpressive,
then your headband will immediately be confiscated and you will both be
sent back to the academy." "So this is my second chance at redemption, alright?" Damballa said. "So Damballa you ready? Lets do this!" Haabe said. "Let's go!" Damballa said. Damballa leapt backwards and looked intently at his opponent.

Navi turned the page of his book, the book was boring, but these Genin were even more boring. Navi yawned to himself again before finally deciding to glance up.

There was a standoff between the two of them as neither of them had decided to make a move.
There fight so far was more boring then watching paint dry. Navi sighed and rolled his shoulders back for a quick stretch so he wouldn't fall asleep.

With the first impressions out of the way Navi looked back down at his book and continued scanning the pages.

Habee looked at Damballa, "Ready or not since you not acting i will make the first move." Saying that Habee made a Shadow clone and both of them pulled out their Sharingan Blade and then quickly took out a kunai and threw it at Damballa as a chance to start charging at Damballa with a his blade on his side and swiftly striked it at Damballa's chest.

"Ready or not since you not acting i will make the first move." Habbe said. Damballa saw Haabe create a clone of some kind. "So now I know which one is vunerable" Damballa said. Damballa saw them throw a kunai, and start charging at him. Damballa making a quick decison, quickly formed Beast Tearing Palm and aimed a wide arc at the kunai, and it would cut through the kunai, and also hit Haabe and his clone.

Habee as he was charging at Damballa he saw Damballa doing a one his good Jutsu Habee thought quickly stopped for a and did a quick Body Flicker Technique and took his blade a slashed Damballa across his back and then continued with a leg sweep aim to cup Damballa of his feet by leg sweeping him in the area behind his knees
