A friendly encounter (Prim/Night/MH/P/NK)

Mansgetsu had traveled outside the gates of Kiri in his small puddle. He was bored and decided to go find someone to spar or fight. Mangetsu decided to use his legs instead of his puddle for transportation. He walked for a while then stopped to rest a bit when he got to a road near a wooded area. Mangetsu decided to rest in his puddle. In the puddle he could just relax and listen to the sounds around him and if anyone decided to show up, he could surprise them and attack them before they even knew it. Unless the ninja were intelligent enough to know on a sunny day puddles wouldn’t normally be around. His puddle would also be the only puddle around more than likely. This isn’t new for Mangetsu, he has attacked a few people and sparred a few times, even though he has never killed anyone, the Hozuki kekkei genkai is quite an original one. Downside to the kekkie genkai, he always has to carry water with him to drink. At this point in time, he was ok. He had a puddle on the side of the road, a sunny day and he just relaxed and waited on someone to walk down the road.

Looking out at the bright sunshine, Nightshade smiled. Prim and Nightshade completed their first mission together and today they were going to the fire nation border to do some extra training. They of course wouldn't be out there very long because Primrose had rules she had to follow to protect her and her family. Which Nightshade completely understood, after all even though Primrose was practically royalty in Nightshades eyes, dangers come with being from certain clans. Uchiha’s were normally hunted down, which is why Prim had increased her training and why Nightshade had decided to be her training partner, if they had a team she would be Prims team mate. It felt good to have a best friend.
Nightshade brushed her long dark auburn hair after she put on a pair of red training pants and a red tank top. She was in a red mood today which is why she wore predominantly red clothes. She looked at her reflection in the mirror and smiled. “I look good and feel good today!” Nightshade giggled. Nightshade walked downstairs and out the door. She went to the village gates that were just recently repaired, which she helped do, and waited patiently for Prim to show up.
While she patiently waited on Prim, Nightshade realized she had forgotten to check to see if she had her weapons, something she knew to do but had forgotten that particular morning. She looked down and saw her weapons in the pouch and felt her katana on her back. “Okay, ready to go as soon as Prim gets here.” Nightshade said. She chuckled at the thought she actually forgot to do something important. She wouldn’t let it ruin her day regardless, although she had a strange feeling about today, she didn’t know why though, but she had a feeling she would know really soon.

Prim had woken up early that morning, unlike the day before when she woke up a little later than normal. Prim of course picked out her usual dark attire, only today she chose a pair of black wind pants with a blood red stripe down each side, a blood red tank top and of course a black long sleeved fishnet shirt. Digging in her weapons drawer she pulled out all her weapons, the wire, the shurikens, the kunai, and put them in her weapons pouch before going to brush her hair. She had decided today she would leave her long raven black hair down. As she put on her black track shoes, she remembered she had to leave a note for everyone so they could know where she was. “Almost forgot the note, Viper would probably be upset.” Prim smirked.


With the note written and stuck to the refrigerator on a pink sticky post it note, Prim left the house. She looked up at the sky and kind of liked the fact it was sunny out. She passed some people she knew and waved at them as she went to meet up with her best friend, Nightshade Arashi. The girls had been through a lot lately and they kind of wished they could be team mates. She spotted Nightshade by the gates. Ah yes, the village gates. They had a lot of fun and put a lot of effort into the gates. “Alright Nightshade, lets go, at least I was on time, unlike the other day.” Primrose laughed as they began their journey into the border woods, little did Prim know, they were about to put their fighting skills to the test.

Mangetsu was beginning to fall asleep as he rested in his puddle. It seemed to be quite a still afternoon. Nothing exciting had happened and he noticed the road was barren of people. He yawned a deep yawn as he began to think about everything he had done recently he accidentally fell asleep and began to dream he was walking on the floor of the sea, all different creatures around him. All the sea creatures had sinobi headbands on. "This has to be a dream." He said to himself. "I guess I have fallen asleep, such boredom." Mangetsu said to himself. He suddenly had an odd feelling as he snapped awake and noticed a rabbit using him for a drink. “I don’t think so!” He said as he sucked the rabbit in and put it in a water prison. As soon as the animal looked like it couldn’t hold its breathe anymore he released it back into the wild. “That’s why you don’t fuck with my puddle!” Mangetsu hissed as the rabbit took off at high speed. Mangetsu began to fall back asleep when he suddenly sensed someone coming his way. They were still pretty far off. He noted it was two people, but couldn’t really tell if they were male or female, or adults. He patiently waited now wide awake.

Nightshade and Prim were laughing and joking as they walked to the borders. "I am excited to train with you Prim it has been so long. And the missions we have done together have been fun!" She smiled at the idea of how much fun they were going to have, her and Prim have done some separate training, and that’s what makes this so exciting. As they walked down the open road she stopped moving. The scenery was beautiful. Trees had green leaves, the grass was green and there was a small puddle on the road. "Prim has it rained? Because there seems to be one solitary puddle on the ground it is rather Suspicious to me.” Nightshade asked as she looked at the puddle and blocked Prims way. During her few times of training with Prim as a kid, she had remembered being told of a clan that could travel via water. They could turn to water, the Hozuki clan. “Come out, come out whoever you are!” Nightshade said in a sing song voice pulling out a shuriken and throwing it at the puddle. If it hit and a person came out, she knew a fight would start, but she had to do it to find out if it was a person or just a puddle.

Prim was laughing with Nightshade until she stopped moving. For Nightshade to be frightened of something is very unlikely, so Prim froze in her tracks. “It hasn’t rained in four days, so for a puddle to be out here is unlikely.” Prim noted looking at the puddle. “Do you think it is one of the…” Prim wondered if it could be one of the Hozuki clan they had learned about when they were younger. They are a very dangerous clan and hard to defeat due to their kekkai genkai, Hydrification. As she observed Nightshade throw a shuriken at the puddle she panicked, ”Nightshade! Are you crazy? If that’s a Hozuki we are going to have to fight him and they are difficult to beat!” Prim said as she looked at Nightshade with a terrified look on her face! They haven’t really fought anyone before and Prim was very nervous. “Let’s just go on pass the puddle! I don’t think we should start something with someone if they are in there.” Despite their training, Prim was not sure she could beat someone that was as close to being a missing nin without actually being one. She looked carefully at the puddle waiting for something to happen.

Mangetsu finally noticed the two girls. Apparently one noticed that his puddle was out of place. He didn’t make a big deal out of it. He could easily go into the ground and pop up behind the girls but, this was more fun, watching the girls argue over whether or not to leave or stay. He snickered to himself when he heard his last name mentioned. The one girl seemed to be terrified of him. This definitely was going to be an interesting experience, he would have to mess with her head. Suddenly a shuriken comes whirling towards his puddle, even as a puddle this was annoying! It wouldn’t really hurt him, still it was a sign of aggression and it was an attack.
“I was just going to scare you, but after that attack, it seems you may need a lesson in respect!” He said as he formed into his human form from the puddle. “Mangetsu Hozuki, is my name, so you had half my name right. And you will not leave this fight uninjured, I won’t kill you, but letting you leave unharmed, not happening.” Mangetsu said with his arms crossed and his twisted smile forming a smirk. He was upset, no doubt about it. These girls more annoyed him than anything. Holding the shuriken in his hand he looked up at the two girls. No weapons drawn yet, That was their biggest mistake. “Maybe I should teach you your first lesson. When approaching a threat, have your weapon drawn and attack regardless of how hostile or non-hostile they may seem.” Mangetsu used his quick reflexes to throw the shuriken not at the one who threw it at him but the other girl with the black hair.

Nightshades eyes grew wide at the sight of Mangetsu. Chills went up her spine watching him form from the puddle. She could tell he looked unhappy and his teeth are so shark like in appearance that the evil grin he gave made her fear he was going to eat them. She had her hand on the hilt of her sword even though it was not pulled out ready to attack or defend. She tried to stand in front of Prim who kept moving out from behind her. “We weren’t sure who you were, or if you really were a person, we guessed that you were person but I through the shuriken just to see if you were.” Nightshade said as she kept her hand on her swords hilt. Hearing the words he said about teaching them a lesson and hurting them she looked over at prim as he threw the shuriken, it was heading for Prim not her. She attempted to pull Prim out of the way and prevent from being hit herself. Nightshade immediately drew her sword and attempted to block the shuriken all together. “If it’s a fight you want it’s a fight you get! I didn’t want it to come to this, but you actually made the first threatening move and I have to make sure you don’t hurt us!” Nightshade said as she got into a battle stance wondering if Prim was going to join her. Their safety was a priority for both of them, but Nightshade was a very protective person of people she did care about.

Prim was shaken up, she had never met a Hozuki before and to actually witness him forming from a puddle. His appearance was scary enough, but he seemed to be slightly dangerous as well. She noticed that Nightshade was trying to protect her and reached around to grab her own sword from her back. As soon as she saw the Shuriken go past her head she immediately turned on her eyes, her sharingan was only two tomoe but she could detect speed. With her sword out and her eyes on she was ready to fight by Nightshades side.
“Teach us a lesson? How? She was trying to figure out who and what you may have been. You have to be kidding me wanting to teach us Mangetsu it’s more like we will be teaching you.” Primrose said getting slightly irritated at the fact that someone was trying to challenge them and thought they were better than them. Yeah he looked scary, but she was not about to run from him. As long as her best friend stood by her side, she would do the same!
“I don’t care who you are or where you came from, trying to attack us was a huge mistake! You are going down!” Prim said with a smirk across her face. She doesn’t know how she got so brave, maybe it was the fact that she was an Uchiha and had so much Pride in who she was, or maybe it was because she had to defend her best friend and herself. Part of being a shinobi was facing dangerous people!

Mangetsu tried to hold back the laughter. These two girls were going to be easy to defeat. They blame him for starting this? He was looking for something and someone to spar but this was not how he wanted to start a spar. They more annoyed him than anything. How would they feel if he threw stuff at them to see if they were real? He saw the one girl had Sharingan eyes, she must be a Uchiha. He knew the first jutsu he had to do. He made a few hand signs and used his chakra to create a thick mist.
"Think you can use your eyes now Uchiha?" He said as he blended in with the mist. This mist, if used correctly, would be able to cause the Sharingan not to work. That is the downfall for her but a plus for him making it easier for him to attack unseen. He unsheathed his sword as well, sometimes hand to hand combat is the best form of combat. He decided to sink down into his puddle and move behind them for a sneak attack.
