A lesson (Flashback)

Suzaku walked quietly to the ninja academy. It hadn't been too long since he had actually gone there..... Seeing the academy usually brought nostalgia to Suzaku. He had forgotten to come here the last few days due to testing his new recruits and all the paperwork that he had to go through. Today would actually be his first day of peace and quiet...... Or so he thought. When he entered, the kids were acting normal. Loud, obnoxious, and crazy. Keeping his Mizukage hat at his side, Suzaku entered and sat on the desk, waiting for everyone to quiet down.

Tachi had arrived early to class today and was sitting at his desk trying to keep away from the little kids and keep his focus on today's lesson. He started twiddling his thumbs waiting on the teacher to arrive.

Sameonna, unknowing to the rest of the class and perhaps the Mizukage, was already in the classroom - under the disguise of one of the students. Among the crowd, she wouldn't stand out compared to any other "normal" student - aside from the fact that she was sitting still, head up looking straight at the Mizukage, a sly smirk lay on her face. Finally the everlasting noise would begin to grow quite annoying to Sameonna. Standing up, she let the disguise fall, activating her jutsu Utsusemi. Moving at a lightning fast pace, she warped to the side of the Mizukage; her appearance as it had been before her mysterious disappearance. Long blonde hair covered most of her face, a beautiful figure covered by a gray veil long sleeved t-shirt, a long black collar covering the majority of her cursed seal; and tight black pants coveted by a pair of black ninja footpads ended her elegance.

She threw her hands into the air, releasing multitudes of water in the shape of rabid sharks - causing the noise classroom to come to a screeching halt. The sharks would zone in on the clone she left behind and tear it to shreds. To the amazement of the class, the clone was reduced to the water-based form it was created from; creating a puddle on the floorboards beneath the classroom. Sameonna would look at the classroom, and speak in a loud bellowing voice that would echo throughout the abode. "Attention is mandatory while in presence of the Mizukage. Foolish behavior such as this will not be tolerated while stood before a man of such honor." Although her statement was bold by the words which escaped her lips, a student stood from among them and laughed. "And who the hell are you to make such a command little girl!?" Sameonna's eyes flashed with rage, and her figure faded from existence in the front of the class, only to appear behind the boy who spoke with a kunai at his neck, and another baring its teeth at his heart.

"Be careful who you speak to. I am Sameonna Hoshigaki - Kagehizakiri of Kirigakure and Sannin of the Two Nations. I am much more than a simple little girl, and you, are much less than an honorable ninja in both the eyes of me, your Kage and your peers.." The rest of the class burst out laughing as she whispered into his ear. ".. If you value your life and what little pathetic meaning it holds - I would sit down and shut up." She winked, putting her weapons away and warping back to the front of the classroom. Her speed was as impressive as ever, even without the use of a jutsu to back it up. Sitting beside the Mizukage, the chair under her slid against the wall as her butt founds its way into the shaped crevice for seating.

Tachi just sat there in amazement of the unknown woman, all of his classmate's eyes were set forward and not a peep heard from one of them. Tachi was awe struck sitting at the edge of his seat just thinking about who the woman with so much skill could be. Questions just flowed through his mind, but all he could do was sit there dumb struck nearly drooling all over his desk. He decided to be polite and stood "I am Tachi of the Gyojin clan and I am very glad you silenced the class" he said as he bowed and returned to his place. He shifted a bit in his seat so he was sitting properly and awaited for the Mizukage to address the class.

It had all happened so quickly. First, a girl had appeared at his side. Seemingly able to shroud herself amongst the students. Second, she shot out many water sharks at her previous spot. Third, she actually stood up for the Mizukage and quieted down the classroom….. This was something even his guards weren’t able to do. Something seemed….. Odd about this girl. She didn’t seem to be a normal academy student. He simply sat there and watched the madness unfold, seeing her sneak up behind the boy brought a slight smile to his face. What she said next though…… Almost made Suzaku fall out of his seat. She was…….. Sameonna Hoshigaki!? Suzaku had heard stories about her, and he had even read some scrolls about her in his office. She was truly a strong shinobi…… Standing up, Suzaku would finally speak

"That will be enough, Sameonna."

He then watched as she took her seat, curious as to why she was here. He pointed to a random student and motioned for Sameonna to get up.

“You, you’re in charge. Sam, come with me.”

Suzaku then proceeded to exit the room, waiting for Sam to follow.

Sameonna would nod in agreement to the command of the Mizukage, as he asked her to come with him. Where? She didn't know or care. The will of her Kage was the hand of Sameonna. Done without question or explanation. That was her nindo. "Yes Mizukage." Sameonna acknowledged the ninja who stood and formally announced his name to her, the Mizukage and the class. She looked at him before exiting the room, proudly following the Mizukage. "You, Tachi. You are an honorable ninja. Perhaps the lowlife beside you can learn a thing or two from you." She'd giggle before leaving, the class also following her lead with a small giggle.

Stories from when he was a child had flooded his mind of the great ninja Sameonna and he wondered just why she was in their class room. Tachi's cheeks turned a rose red as he received the compliment from Sameonna."Thank you " he spit out before they left the room. He quickly hopped from his seat and shuffled through his classmates trying to keep up with the Kage and Sameonna. He almost fell as a student tripped him but he caught himself and instead of retaliating he walked to the door and peeked around the corner wondering if he would get in trouble for following.

Suzaku stood a few feet away from the entrance of the classroom. Pacing back and forth in front of Sam. Trying to think of what to say. He didn’t know how he felt.. Angry, surprised, scared. He didn’t know…..He knew that Sam could’ve killed everyone in that classroom if she tried. This left Suzaku a little uneasy and scared about how the children might complain or how the parents might complain. Suzaku then finally stopped pacing and faced Sam, finally speaking.

“First off, why are you here? Second, why did you take such a risk by using those techniques? If it wasn’t for me giving my guards the signal to stay back, you would’ve had a squad of anbu around you!”

Suzaku then sighed, he thought about who he was talking too. He thought of how he could possibly make her a useful ally to Kirigakure….. He then spoke again, all traces of annoyance and anger gone from his voice.

“And finally…. I have an offer for you….. Would you beinterested in joining the newly reformed seven swordsmen of the mist? I know your alliegence is with Konoha, but you can still help Kiri in its time of need. I know you’d do anything to protect this village. “

Sameonna watched as he paced back and forth. She could sense his tension; his footsteps echoed throughout the academy hallways - empty with children in their respective boarding rooms. He bombarded her with questions and she thought marvelously that he would be so scarce with his idealistic form of anger. She smiled when he noted a squad of ANBU would be around her.

"Mizukage, Sir, I have come to see your students to success - even if it meant exposing myself to their uneasy eyes. They have not been released into the world I was released into only six years ago. I'm sure you've heard the stories about me and as ignorant as this may sound.. They are not ready for war. They could not accomplish what I have accomplished even with me being younger than the students who now sit in your classroom. Even if your ANBU surrounded me, you know I'm skilled enough to take them down in seconds. Which is why even with your confusion you now stand before me and ask me to join the highly regarded Seven Swordsman of the Mist."

She smiled. "Everything that I have done, I did for the glory of Kirigakure and the honor I am bound to by being born here. You are correct when you say I would do anything to protect this village.. Even by risking myself and everything I hold dear to goto war with no escort in Konoha and trample the entire village myself." She'd bow politely and look him in the eyes. "Once again, Mizukage, you call me to join up ranks with soldiers. I will honor your request by accepting it with open arms and blades pointed at the hearts of my enemies, and our allies who would deceive our righteous causes." Although she could sense the presence of Tachi, she would keep silent as to keep him from getting into trouble with the Mizukage for disobeying orders.

Tachi was still there listening to their conversation with his head nearly sticking out the doorway. He was really intrigued when the seven ninja swordsmen of the mist were mentioned he nearly fell into the hallway.
