Sparring with Hasashi {CLOSED, NO KILL, NO STEAL}
Thu Nov 22, 2012 6:09 pm
Ousama walked through the sand on the country borders. He peered up at the hot desert sun, squinting his eyes against it's intense brightness. Two vultures flew across the sun in opposite directions, casting shadows on the boiling sand. Ousama was not wearing a hat today, the hot desert breeze blew through his hair, sweeping it out of his eyes. Today it was too hot for him to wear his leather bomber jacket, so he strutted through the desert in just a plain white BAPE tee with a square camo pattern in the middle. Like always, he wore his two golden chains around his neck. His Heaven's Sorrow Ninjato was strapped across his back. He was not wearing blue jeans today, he had opted to wear khaki cargo shorts instead. On his feet he wore Jordan Retro 9 "Olive Greens" and on his wrist he wore a camo BAPE G-Shock watch that matched his t-shirt. His outfit was coordinated quite well. Ousama stopped walking and brushed the sand and dust off of his shoes. He was wearing de-creasers inside of them, which were causing his toes to become a bit sore. Ousama was hoping to find a shinobi of about his level to spar with on the borders today. He knew that people would sometimes come to the borders for the same purpose; he hoped to encounter one.

Hasashi had been walking for a few hours when he came upon the desert. He had left his house that morning ready to train, and had decided to go to the county border to do it. This was the second time he went to the borders to train, though this time he was going to the border of the Sand Village, Sunagakure.
He wore his normal T-shirt and shorts, which both fit him fairly well. His sandals were also fitted perfectly on him, and his headband was in it’s place, covering his forehead. His ninjato was strapped across his back, with the hilt poking out above his left shoulder. He had a small kunai holster strapped to the outer part of his left thigh, with 3 kunai inside. The holster was strapped overtop his shorts, making it clearly visible and easy to reach. His weapons pouch was strapped to his belt, which was around his waist. The pouch was right above his rear. It was closer to his right arm than his left. There were 3 shuriken, one meter of wire, and an exploding tag in there.
Hasashi soon came across another young boy, who seemed to be from the Sand village. He looked at the boy, noticing that he was wearing some fairly strange clothing. It was unlike anything Hasashi had seen. What is some of that stuff? He didn’t know, but he was curious.
The boy was standing in a relatively open part of the desert. Nothing was around him, save two vultures that were in the sky. There’s absolutely nothing here. Nothing to do a substitution with if something goes bad…
Hasashi wasn’t really bothered though, as the other boy seemed to be a bit clueless. He had only one weapon, a sword strapped onto his back. But it was strapped in such a way that the hilt was poking out below his right hip, facing the ground. That’s a bit strange.. The hilt would be very difficult to reach, and pulling the sword out would be next to impossible. He’ll have to un-strap it in order to unsheathe it, weird..

Ousama smiled and waved at a boy walking through the desert towards him. He summed him up. He looked like a very powerful opponent, he looked faster, stronger, sturdier and more aware than Ousama. Ousama knew this was going to be a tough fight. He observed a Kumogakure headband on the boys head, showing Ousama that he was a Kumo-nin and a gennin or up, making him a higher rank than Ousama. He also observed the boy's lack of swag and rustic appearance, but this didn't bother him, as he was used to most shinobi looking like this. He took note of a Heaven's Sorrow Ninjato strapped on the boys back, and he realized that his own was strapped on wrong. With a chuckle, he unstrapped it and restrapped it so that the top part of the sheath was poking up over his left shoulder, That's better, he thought. Ousama walked up to the boy and offered his hand for a handshake "It's nice to meet you," he would say "I am Ousama of Sunagakure, would you care to spar?" Despite his general hate for the human race, Ousama knew that it was important to respect and be nice to all foreigners, and besides, this kid might be different. If the boy would take Ousama's hand and shake it, when the handshake was over, Ousama would jump back 5 meters, not wanting to attack directly out of the handshake because that would be unfair. As the boy was faster than him, Ousama would draw his Heaven's Sorrow Ninjato and wait a few seconds, giving the boy a some time to get in the mindset for the fight. After a few seconds, Ousama would charge at the boy and aim a strike with his sword at the boy's chest, he knew that it would be easy to dodge, seeing that the boy was much faster and the attack was half-hearted anyways, Ousama just wanted to get a feel for his opponent's skill level.
