Sparring (Private, Kino)

Kino grinned as the girl named Mezurashii took a more defensive position, seemed she was getting somewhat smarter than she had been battling. He took a more offensive position once he heard his student asking 'How about you attack, sensei?'. "Alright then, guess I can show you some of my abilities.." He said, performing two series of hand signs. The hand seals were the same in each. Both were in proper order. He kept an eye on Mezurashii at the same time. Two clouds appeared next to Kino on both sides, one on each, his grin remained. The clouds appeared and Kino's charged out of both, however the one in the center remained still.


Both clones would attempt to poke the girl, in simple spots. They weren't aiming for pressure points as she had seemed to have been earlier, but just simple points such as the arm, shoulder, and forehead. They kept an eye on the girl, sharingan activated, they were capable of predicting any attacks should she make a move.

Mezurashii eyes widened at the clones that ran at her. Were they illusions? Or, like the shadow clone, physical? Rather than take the risk the redhead dodged the attacks, using her natural flexibility to her advantage she twisted and weaved around the attacks to the best of her abilities, only barely able to dodge the clones.

Flashing through the signs Mezurashii replaced herself with a log and hid in the trees and took a breath, this wouldn't hide her for long. Grabbing her wakizashi, she unsheathed it.

Her mind cleared in an instant, Mezurashii stared at her sensei, waiting for him to make his move.

The clones managed to hit the girl, only slightly though. She was capable of dodging the majority of the attacks, which made Kino grin as she attempted to seemingly substitute rather than taking the chance against the clones. They watched as she was replaced. Kino and his clones scanned the area, now using the sharingan. A rather cheap way to hunt down prey, though Kino didn't mind. He soon spotted the girl named Mezurashii hiding in a bush, he grinned, his clones spotting her a few seconds later. The sharingan was deactivated, and they began to wonder on how to deal with the girl. Kino heard a blade being unsheathed. "Oh my, getting somewhat serious in a spar, eh?" He said, his grin slightly growing. This just meant he could show a bit more strength than what he was using. One of the two clones stepped forward into a dash, and headed for Mezurashii, attempting to grab the arm which wielded the weapon.

Mezurashii watched as the Kino's looked around, she saw a flash of red and pouted. That was cheating!

Not bothering to hide her presence she let the Kino clone grab her arm, which meant they were solid clones. She tossed her wakizashi to her other hand and, holding down the clone with her other hand, stabbed the clone between the ribs and pierced the lung.

It disappeared in a poof of smoke and Mezurashii jumped out of the bushes, throwing shuriken at her real sensei along the way before sprinting at him. Dodging the clones along the way, to the best of her abilities.

The clone was successful in grabbing Mezurashii's arm. Her weapon was slightly useless, though she could always switch hands. The girl seemed to have a mind reading ability, or there was a rather convenient coincidence. She threw the weapon aimed at her other hand. The clone, using it's speed, attempted to grab the weapon. Due to it's speed, it would probably grab the weapon before the girl would be capable of grabbing it. The clone aimed at grabbing it by the handle, not the blade. Should he be successful, he would throw it back at the other clone and say, "Don't worry, you'll be getting it back soon enough." He said, attempting to grab the other hand now. Successful or not at grabbing her other arm, the other clone would plant the blade into the ground, forcing the blade to stand up. The second clone would dash forward at a high speed, if the other clone was unsuccessful in grabbing the other arm, the second clone would attempt to. This would all happen should the first clone grab the weapon in time.

Mezurashii scowled as the clone grabbed the handle of her weapon. No way was she letting him disarm her, so using the clone as leverage she brought up her leg and delivered a straight kick to his chin.

Ripping her arm out of his grip she flipped onto her feet and delivered a roundhouse kick to the other clones mid-section.

'I'm wasting my energy on these clones, but they won't let me get close to the real Kino!' she thought. It was so frustrating! She tried to think of a way she could get to him, a way to bypass them. And like a lightning bolt an idea struck, it was crazy and would probably blow up in her face, but there was no harm in trying.

Grabbing a smoke bomb she released it, covering herself and everyone within a few metres in thick black smoke. She spread out her chakra, hoping it would act like a mist and would obscure her sensei's Sharingan for at least a few seconds.

Reaching into her pouch she attached explosive tags to kunai and shuriken alike, throwing them in random directions she set them off at random intervals. Throwing a spare kunai into the air she replaced herself with it, now having a clear view of her sensei she threw a few more explosive weapons at him.

Pushing off a nearby tree branch she shot towards him like a bullet, activating her ring in the process. If he can use his Sharingan then she can use her ring, seeing as this wasn't going to be a completely fair fight.

Keeping her beloved wakizashi in hand she delivered a diagonal slash for his shoulder, even if it didn't hit she would flip over him and try a sweeping kick to his feet. Either jumping away if it didn't work or delivering a heel to his torso if the kick was successful.

Kino watched. Mezurashii had dealt with the two clones alone. She had kicked one of the two which were holding down her hand in the chin, and destroyed the other one. She had gotten her weapon back, and then took out what appeared to be a smoke bomb. She was trying to get away from melee fighting, it seemed. Kino watched as she had thrown out projectile weapons, seemingly at random, the smoke was covering up her field of vision, a disadvantage on her end.


Kino quickly performed a single hand sign, and dashed around the Kunai. He had noticed the explosive tags, and had managed to remain mainly out of range, often he would pass by one, though it didn't seem to detonate in time. He noticed that Mezurashii's chakra was no longer in the smoke, she substituted.



Kino began to look around, mainly on the ground. He then looked up and saw Mezurashii using a branch to launch herself at Kino. Kino simply grinned, and stepped back a few inches as she attempted to cut him. He moved enough to the point to where her blade wouldn't touch Kino, or cut for that matter. He then noticed her going for a leg sweep. Kino jumped up, and began to perform a hand sign, to create a shadow clone.

Mezurashii kept her eyes on her teacher, he easily dodged both attacks and created a shadow clone, she highly doubt he would start using illusions at this point. And she wasn't about to retreat, she had managed to get this close to him, and even though he had a clone the redhead was determined to at least land a good hit.

Running straight for him she aimed a straight high kick, throwing her tanto at the clone to keep him back long enough for her to produce her Air Drill, retracting her leg whether it hit or not she aimed her wind wreathed fist straight for the males torso. If it didn't hit she would use the gain momentum to leap away from any immediate dangers or attacks.

Kino watched, as Mezurashii would throw her weapon at Kino's clone. Perhaps she was trying to distract the clone, leaving Kino on his own. Though, the clone simply performed a hand sign and had a log trade out with it. Mean while, Kino was watching Mezurashii as she began to perform hand signs, presumably for a wind release technique, he remembered her saying she had made a wind release technique, though not directly, in their first meeting. Kino simply stood there, as he watched, at the same time performing a hand sign. As Mezurashii extended her fist, seemingly to attempt to land a punch on Kino's torso, Kino would disappear in a cloud of smoke, replaced with nothing. He was using body flicker, and soon appeared behind Mezurashii. Kino would attempt to grab both of her arms, while his clone would dash from around five meters away, to a foot in front of Mezurashii.

Mezurashii's eyes widened in surprise as Kino vanished in a cloud of smoke, there was no log or anything! She didn't have time to react as she felt someone grab her arms, and before she could even begin to struggle his clone was in front of her.

"Well, I'm pretty sure I lose" she said, relaxing in his hold. She waited for him to release her before turning around to face him. "What was that technique you used just then?" she asked, curiosity taking over her features.
