Sparring (Private, Kino)

Mezurashii tightened the knot of her ninja emblem attached to her belt and walked outside.

"Bye papa! Don't forget the shopping!" she called out from the door frame.

"But I'm injured!" he complained from the stairs.

"Can you walk?"

"Yes..."

"Then you can go shopping!" she retorted and strutted away with a victorious grin towards the training grounds. Taking the paths today instead of the trees Mezurashii walked through the twist and turns of the paths before coming to a empty field.

Thanking her lucky star Mezurashii walked up to a post and began to do basic attacks before moving to more complicated moves, spinning around the post she delivered a kick strong enough to splinter the surface. She continued her onslaught of attacks on the poor wooden post.

Kino was walking through the village of Konohagakure. he had recently made this village his home, among hundreds of others, most of them being shinobi, as was Kino. He was a Jounin of the village, he didn't see too many, but the problem never seemed to bother others. He was walking to the training grounds, planning on doing some solo training, perhaps with his new elemental nature release, Earth Release. Or perhaps he could train with wind release, he hadn't much experience in it, though he had even less with Earth Release.



He walked, entering the training grounds quietly, then noticing Mezurashii. She was busy training. "Attacking an innocent training dummy? Perhaps you'd like a little more challenging opponent to spar with?" He said, looking at her. Kino was half asleep, and needed something to help wake him up slightly, and she could probably use something better to train on than a stand still, no fight back target.

Mezurashii paused her onslaught and turned to the familiar voice, she smiled brightly at Kino.

"Sensei! It's good to see you" she smiled at the offer. "I'll probably lose but sure, I'm always up for a learning experience" she grinned before taking a battle ready stance. She didn't know much about her sensei's abilities so she would just have to test her ground.

With that thought she dashed forward and threw a smoke bomb at his feet aiming a low sweeping kick to knock him off his feet, if that didn't work then she would use the momentum to twist away and keep a distance.

[okay, so since it's taken so long then that means that the attack hits]

Mezurashii was seriously surprised when the attack actually hit but still backed away, after all this could just be a clone. She used her senses to try and detect her sensei.

A smoke bomb blocked his view, he had simply stood there, wondering. He was soon attacked by Mezurashii, she performed a leg sweep. Kino dropped to his side, he extended his hand and blocked him from falling onto his body completely. He pushed on the hand and used it to make him jump. He put out his leg, onto the ground, and used it to push himself up, to stand up again. He would hear Mezurashii falling back a bit, away from Kino and any chance of him attacking her, though unless she had more long range techniques or attacks, she couldn't harm Kino. Kino did have a few long ranged techniques, and was about to use one. The technique wasn't mainly used for offense, however in combination with other techniques it could be.


He performed a series of hand signs, then sucked in some air before he finished them. Upon finishing them he blew out, a stream of wind blew away the remaining smoke. He looked at Mezurashii, then grinned slightly, wondering what she would do next.

Mezurashii yelped and ducked down as a reflex when the smoke blew away. She thought for a quick second, she didn't have anything long range that could deal any real damage. So she was going to be stuck with close combat.

Easily sliding into her battle stance Mezurashii sprinted at him. Aiming a mock punch to his torso, retreating her fist at the last second she skidded around him and hit a pressure point in his right arm and back before jumping away again.

She kept her eyes on her sensei the whole time.

He heard the girl as she ducked down, Kino had clear view of her. He watched as Mezurashii took a battle stance, then sprinted forward. Kino began to wonder what her intentions were, though he figured it was more up close combat, which would mean she presumably had no up ranged techniques or weapon, though that was a simple assumption, she could easily have one or so technique capable of harming someone from a long distance. He watched Mezurashii continuing her sprint forward, as she aimed a punch at Kino's torso. He moved back a slight bit, taking a few steps back as to avoid the punch. He then watched her as she aimed to hit what seemed to be a pressure point on Kino's right arm. He grinned slightly, she was giving up most of her knowledge in the fight, allowing Kino to study for future combat, though it's always possible to come up with new technique and ability, now Kino could come up with strategies should he need to for future combat. Kino dashed back away from Mezurashii, and her attack. He was now around ten feet away. He simply looked at her with a rather serious face, "What's next?" He said, slightly quietly, though loud enough to where she should be capable of hearing it.

Mezurashii huffed before taking a defensive stance. She knew he was just studying her movements, so just continuously attacking wouldn't do her much good, there was no way she would be able to land any real damage-dealing hits.

"How about you attack, sensei?" she said, responding to his words with ease.
