Jin's Genin Exam

Jin hesitantly pryed his eyes open as his alarm clock struck 8AM, it was now time, it was time to become a fully fledged ninja, that's right, he was ready for the Genin Exam, he let out a sigh of relief, as he woke up at the right time this time around, as he had arrived late the last exam and ended up missing it, but it was great to see that this wasn't actually the case now, he was ready and he was going to smash the exams and go straight to Genin, and then Chuunin, he was going to climb all the ranks and make it to the elite.

Or, well, that was the plan anyway, anything could happen, hell, he could go missing-nin if he felt like it, but right now, everything was yet to be decided, but right now he had to focus on his exam, he memorized everything he could and then slid out of bed, stretched his arms and legs out and went into his wardrobe, taking out a white collared shirt with thin white stripes, putting on a loose red tie and a leather fingerless glove on his left hand, before slipping into a pair of black boots, before he stepped downstairs into the kitchen to get his breakfast, a selection of rice balls, his adopted mother and father were already at work at their market stall, he thanked his mother for paying such attention to him as he read a note reading:

"Jin, good luck at your exam, sweetheart!!! xxx"

This was a little embarassing in some way, but hey, no one else could notice, he walked out of the door and took the path towards the academy training grounds where he would be tested to see if he was capable of making the rank, Jin felt good about himself so far, he knew it probably wasn't going to be easy, but he knew that he could pull it off if he tried his best, he would've made it last time around but he was definately going to make it today.

(Requesting proctor for the exam)

[A staff member has to proctor your genin exam you can't just willy nilly do it yourself, especially if you trying to hit the proctor, in which case I know I would do everything in my power to stop you from doing that].

The proctor entered the grounds to see all the subjects that he would be testing today. He hated it here but he did what he had to do. When he got to Jin's name on the sheet he would point to him and tell him to come closer to him. if the boy did so then he tell the boy "Do the transformation and the clone technique, if you do so then you pass."


[Oh and BTW, if you try and attack the jounin I will give him 325, 280 JP, and jutsu to go with it. Do 800 words of doing the above jutsu and you pass, good luck.]

Jin walked deeper into the Ninja Academy, there were a hell of a lot of people here, obviously all of them were looking forward to passing their exams, if they got everything right that is, the Genin Exams were never easy, they were always rather difficult to create ninja of the highest echelon and of the highest quality, ninja who would never betray the village and would be able to crush their enemies under their expertise, or, at least that was how the Volcano Village ninja were trained anywho, and Jin was no different, he was going to make sure that he passed these exams with flying colors, he wasn't here to dawdle around and pass time, he was here to pass, and he was here to do it in style, he even thought of getting into a fight with the proctor, well, he'd need to think long and hard about it anyway because the proctor could probably easily mash him to pieces but it would've been pretty cool to see a student face off against a proctor, then again, Jin didn't have any offensive jutsus so it probably wasn't a very good idea that he do so, and apart from punching and breaking a thief's jaw, you didn't have any ninjambat expertise either, so all of this probably wasn't a very good idea in the long run.

He stood around at the back of the crowd most of the time, watching the students step up and perform the required jutsus in front of the proctor, he watched the first kid's name pop up, and watched the academy student walk towards the proctor and put his two fingers and palms together, but, alas, the transformation jutsu had failed, instead of transforming into an exact replica of the proctor, he turned into an incredibly fat version of him, which made most of the students (who were mostly 13) laugh their asses off, and even Jin couldn't help but snicker at the turn of events, the kid's face basically turned a deep shade of red at the pure embarassment he had just been exposed to, Jin actually felt kind of bad for the poor bastard, but he really should've practiced beforehand if he didn't want to be this badly embarassed, so he actually kind of deserved it.

Nonetheless time passed, and the kid DID manage to do the clone technique, so whether he passed or not had to be decided, in the mean time it was up to the next kid to raise the bar of the group, and this kid looked a lot older, about 15, and he pulled off both jutsus just fine, getting an instant pass, Jin kinda new from the start that, if he wasn't first off the bat when it came to the test he'd be tediously waiting until he'd actually be able to show what he could do, and Jin was determined to pass this exam this time around, as having to show up again later on would suck seriously hard, he actually put effort into it this time around, and like hell was it going to show, he was going to make sure that all the effort he had put in wasn't going to go to waste, no, not this time around, this exam wasn't going to go like the last one, sleeping through the exam was bad enough but he wasn't going to let yourself re-do the entire exam just from one pesky schoolboy error, this time around, it was going to be success, first time success as well, not any of this flunking out chickenshit for him.

Nonetheless all of this waiting was beginning to try his patience, just student after student passing to show their talents to the proctor in the hope of finally getting that forehead protector and representing their village in, well, war, basically as they were signing up for the military, really, it didn't matter to Jin, he wanted to be a part of the ninja way, he wanted to carve his own destiny as a ninja and become someone either respected or feared by people from every village in the land, and that was definately going to happen, or so he thought.

Finally, it was Jin's turn to show up, he waded through the crowd and in front of the proctor, who had told him that he had to do the transformation technique and the clone technique in order to pass this exam, well, it was the same as the others basically, but he figured that he should be able to do it without much of an issue, he waited a couple of seconds, before putting his palms and two fingers on each hand together before a puff of white smoke appeared, turning into a perfect replica of the proctor, well, obviously, he had been training to pass these sorts of easy exams, so this kind of stuff wasn't exactly hard for him.

Next up was the clone technique, he got back into the same position, and with two white clouds of smoke, he made a perfect clone of himself, he then got back into a more casual position and waited for his grade.
